Dak was horrendous. Knew that someone would use those garbage time stats to defend him. Both he and the defense were equally at fault. @@soamxri4054one pick he threw set up GB in the redzone. The other pick gave GB a touchdown. And that pick six came when cowboys were about to score. Without that the game would be much more manageable. Dak isn’t the only one to blame but he needs to take a huge portion of it.
This game is an excellent way to check who watches the game and who just checked the stat lines. Dak put 14 points on the board for the other team. They shortened the gap in garbage time playing against the backups
He threw two interceptions. One led to a touchdown, the other one was a pick 6. You wanna blame the defense? ABSOLUTELY. You CANNOTTTT excuse Dak's performance.
@@Doatello1991 I understand that but Packers had like three touchdown drives of 75 or more yards. After the FG after halftime GB went 75 yards in 5 plays, next possession 75 yards in 3 plays all for touchdowns. So yes Dak played bad and deserves blame but let's slide some over to the defense too cause they played horrible too
Rex is full of it. Dax threw underneath nearly the whole game; 2 picks, realistically could have been 3 with that dropped pick in the endzone, 4 if not broken up at the back of the endzone in the 4th by Lamb; chose not to walk into the endzone on a 2 point try which drew a penalty because of that decision; multiple other hesitant decisions to run which either led to a sack or yardage short of the line to gain
Also, if not for the refs erring near the end of the first half, the score should have been 27-0 going into halftime. Dallas had no time outs left, ran a play which got them inside the 2, with the ball inbounds. There was a penalty flag thrown, but it was declined. The clock should have started on the reset, not the snap. With 6 seconds left, the almost interception should have been the final play of the half.
Rex is right that this loss is on the defense. People just like blaming the QBS but I think the Packers only punted once when it mattered. No QB is winning with a defense laying down like this.
Dak threw 200 yards against backups running a prevent defense 🤣 it’s mind blowing how people just can’t understand that! Including former coaches like Rex
That's what I'm saying. With 6 min left, Dak was down 48-16, had under 200 yards, 1 TD and 2 picks. And the one TD right before the half was a gift from the refs after they called a phantom horse collar to extend the drive and then allowed a false start by the offense with 2 seconds left. Not to mention, it should've been Dak's 3rd pick of the half on that drive but the defense dropped it. Dak was awful from the jump!!

Dak threw two picks one of which was a pick six and couldn’t score points until the very end of the first half. The whole cowboys team totally dropped the ball in more ways than one. The score was a lot nicer than the game actually was

This morning will be fun. Not only do we get Stephen A. today, but now all the guys who said all week that Dallas was going to win this game pretend that they saw this all along. Happens every year. It's becoming a yearly tradition. And it's awesome.
Their points and yards came after the game was lost, after Alexander had done what he came to do and left the game. They weren't coming back in the second half and GB didn't even need Alexander at that point. They had their lead and Dallas was already beat mentally.
I'll give them props if they run the ball like that vs the 49ers .......any half decent run blocking line can push around Dallas they are soft that front 7 is only good at pass rushing
@@ronjones3977 Defensively Yards per carry SF was 4.1 not much different Pass Defense on QB rating is very good but completion pct% is average. We know about their pass rush I am more concerned about McCaffery and the 49ers run game

When you lose in the fashion they did at home, with as good as they are supposed to be EVERYONE gets blame. That includes dak, Jerry, Mike McCarthy, the d, etc. No one has clean hands coming out that game.
Even if Dallas Def allowed a TD on every drive, Dak should have been matching on Offense. But it was Dak's interceptions and inability to move the ball that allowed GB to run away, not just stay slightly ahead. It's on both.
Blame Jerry Jones for his completely ignoring the glaring weaknesses both offensively and defensively. He is the one at fault. Dak’s stats once again look great in the 4th quarter of a playoff game, but unfortunately it has become an annual tradition of it coming in garbage time of a blowout loss.
He does deserve blame. However, when your team allows your opponent to drop 48 points, your defense was obviously horrible. Cowboys defensive coordinator deserves a lot of blame.
Dak cost them 14 points. The defense cost them the other 34 points..💀 they have some good guys too must be the coaching/coordinator cause ain’t no way..
How about last year when the Cowboy's defense only gave up 19 points to the 49ers and Dak still couldn't get it done? The defense of Dak is insane here
Dak's good numbers were junk yards when the defense went into prevent and didn't care anymore. When the game was close, Dak choked and threw 2 ints. He absolutely wasn't ready for this.
He's been doing that for the last 4 years which I don't know why Cowboy fans can't seem to understand. Dak Prescott only plays like this when the game is out of hand but he can't give you this performance from quarter one on a consistent basis
@@donovanjohnson3947We all know the defense was garbage, but Dak also didn’t do his job as the leader of the offense when it came to crunch time. Dude instead gave the other team an additional 14 points to make the situation even worse.
Game preparation was the main reason why Dallas got rolled against Green Bay. Looking at Dallas' body language to start the game, that young Packers team wasn't taken seriously, and Dallas got even a bigger dose of what the Packers did to the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day. The Dallas Cowboys team took their undefeated record at home for granted and paid the price thinking that a young GB team would roll over and play dead by looking at the star on the helmets and at mid-field. Let's call it for what it was.
Cowboys haven’t been able to stop the run all year. Dak threw 2 picks and the game was out of reach before half. He put up the stats in garbage time when the starters sat and made it seem like he was the only one that was respectable. He may not be the sole problem but he’s definitely to blame
Defense gotta be to blame, throwing picks doesn’t mean giving up TDs every possession. They had chances to be in the game or stay in it, they just routinely got walked over on defense. Dak needs his blame too, but to absolve the defense for 6 TDs, and at one point TDs on 5 possessions in a row and not getting a single stop from about 1 min left in Q1 to about 4 minutes left in Q4, is atrocious any way you slice it. Even with Dak playing this badly, if the defense showed up, this game was winnable
27-7 is not out of reach... If they were able to stop them and shut them out the second half they could've won. Dak was bad but the defense was even worst
@@jackyyue8678respectfully you’re wrong. I don’t even count those 7 before half bc refs gave them that drive. It was a stone cold shutout. Every bad call was in favor of the cowboys all game and they still got blown out in a stadium they were undefeated in for 2 seasons.
@@jahvedcole no one is absolving the defense, but everyone is trying to absolve Dak for some reason. He was equally as bad and gift wrapped two TDs, the same amount the defense gave up in the first half.
There was a play where Micah Parson went right up the middle and Aaron Jones picked up his pass rush. More than that, Jones gut checked him, and he came out holding his mid section. After that, any fight that Parson had went out the window.
Dan Orlovsky is right so much on this show it makes my head spin. He has people disagreeing with him while the tape is in process of showing he’s right.

Either way. Defense cost the cowboys as much as Prescott did. You should not be allowing 48 points. And the fact that the offense was struggling is another reason why the defense should have stepped up.
@@donovanjohnson3947 Boy's only scored 36 because of garbage time nonsense. They were never in that game. Were was Dak putting up points to keep the game close when the defense was struggling?
Ignore the turnovers, the defense still gave up 34 points. They let Doubs get 151 yards on only 6 catches. They didn’t get any sacks and didn’t force any turnovers. They allowed nearly 5 yards per run play and 13 yards per pass attempt. They only forced 1 punt against the starters. You cannot win that way. Dak obviously didn’t play well either, but the defense was so much worse

Defense has been horrible all year. The offense had trouble all year coming back when trailing early on. That's why Green Bay chose to receive the kickoff. When they scored on first possession I new Dallas was doomed.
The defense gets rattled if the game does not start correctly. I feel that that automatic first down penalty after a second down sack was the trigger. Instead of 3rd and 12, Packers drove down the field for a TD aided by another penalty on 3rd and 5 at the 6.
Not a Cowboy fan here, but the Cowboys played good this year its just that when matched their matched. This overly expectations hyped is what makes the fall so hard for Cowboys fans.
Thanks cowboys. You guys are very consistent in the play offs. I won $300 from both my coworkers ($150 bet) against the cowboys. Got nothing against the cowboys, but history doesn't lie. Always has and always will - cowboys lose in the play offs as long as Jerry runs the show in Dallas.
Nobody was putting the full blame on Dak. The whole team sucked but, at the same time you have to put a lot of the blame on Dak, because he is the team's franchise player and the most valuable player on the team. He has that playoff experience and whatever mistakes he made in the past he should have learned from those mistakes, but instead of correcting it he keeps on repeating it. Everybody brags on how dominate their offense is and rightfully so, but if their offense is so great then why could they not keep pace with the Packers offense. When a QB has problems reading the opposing defense and then trying to force the ball into coverage then yes, the QB deserves a lot of the blame.
The Actual score was 48-16, don't let that 48-32 fool. It was 10 mins left in the 4th Q & Dak only had 200 yds & 1 Td, when the packers put in there backups he finished with 400 yds & 3 yds. Stat padding 🤣
I knew that Dak’s garbage time stats were gonna fool people. If you actually watched the game, he was garbage the entire first half. When the Packers were up 27-0 Dak had 71 yards and 2 picks with one being a pick 6. Dak and the entire Cowboys team has no killer instinct and aren’t big game players. It’s displayed time and time again and people never learn
Rex Ryan, STOP!! Dak had two interceptions, in a playoff game, at home, in Dallas, against the Green Bay Packers!!! Dak deserves some of the blame!!!😏👍🏿

This reminded me of the Dallas-Buffalo game. Once again, take Micah Parsons out of the equation and the Cowboys defense folds like a T-shirt. A wise man said not once, but many times over: "Just wait...be patient. What can go wrong will go wrong. They will never let you down."
9.5 yards on first down is wild; i mean that’s basically the game. Though i completely disagree with Rex on Dak’s performance (hooray, he did well in garbage time) there is something to be said about a defense that was playing at home to be that atrocious on first downs.
Jordan Love has just got better and better since our mid season losing streak ....he looks like a completely different person out there it's amazing to watch as a Packers fan
Rex is one of best defensive coaches ever so he’s going to point at the defense but I’m with Dan. You have to keep your team in the game. You have to score. You have to sustain drive & keep them of the field & he melted down. Before the shameless stat padding the score was 41-16. Dak had 2 int & 61 passer rating.
Yup just like ram n lion game you score we score come down to who defense can stop … on other hand Dallas offense flat out do nothing … if it weren’t for those garbage td Dallas would score only 7 lol
I gotta say, as a Giants fan, seeing this happen to the Cowboys season after season brings me almost as much pleasure as the Giants winning. I'm no talking head "expert", but it seems to me the one constant during all of these years is Jerry Jones. Maybe he's the one to blame. 🤔
@kdubbss0583 cowboys first 4 drives. 2 punts and a pick six and a pick on their own 13 yard line. How is that not daks fault lmaooooooo. Teuthful? Lmao fak ain't never winning anything he gets nervous in big games. Everyone knows the d stunk but Fak threw 2 crucial ints made the game out of reach. Fak got to go.
All 3 facets of the Cowboys team failed on their first try: Defense (gave up a touchdown); Offense (punted); Special Teams (penalty). The Offense finally started to get a rhythm in the second half, but the Defense never got back on track and that is why the Cowboys could not catch back up after a slow start. I don't know if the game plan sucked, the players were not emotionally ready, or they just choked under the high expectations as many have claimed, but this was the most embarrassing loss I have ever seen of this Cowboys team post-Jimmy Johnson, and that is saying a lot because there have been some epic failures. This culture of playoff failure starts at the top!
Why are you letting the most penalized player in the NFL even start for your team??? Asking to hurt yourself anytime he is on the field-STUPID!! No player is good enough to overcome self-destruction psychosis…
The penalties were egregious. Twice on the 1st drive should have been 3&out and penalties extended the drive. They aren’t disciplined like Rex Ryan said.
Offense only got in rhythm because the Packers started playing soft and took out their starters and with the help of some calls that gave Dallas points,it's embarrassing to have to get all of that to start scoring
Dak was voted this year as an All Pro QB. He threw two interceptions, one of which was a pick six. Football is a team sport so rarely does a loss fall solely on one player. However Dak gave two possessions away. That’s 14 possible points. Dak shares a large responsibility for this loss.
You take out the turnovers and the defense gave app 5 full length field touchdown drives and somehow still won time of possession 31 minutes to 28 75 75 93 75 44 You simply can't win if your defense is giving up long touchdown drives, even without the turnovers they still score 35

They are both right. On offense Dak was throwing to a predetermined player all the first half, forcing it to Cee Dee alot. Defensively Rex is spot on when you give up 9.5 yards on 1st down, you have got to stop the run first. You go heavy personnel, load the box, play man with a safety over the top. Instead the Cowboys go 6+ DB's on 89% of the snaps and wonder why they cant stop the run. GB only had 10 third downs, that game which would lead the league in 1st & 2nd down efficiency as an average. Great plan and execution by GB and a horrible plan and in game (non) adjustment by Dallas.

Rex continues to prove why nobody hires him to coach anymore. Dak will always have enablers coming to his defense
Remember, rex was the coach of team with a bad qb who had to rely on exceptional defense. So his take on dak not being bad is sorta slanted.
You can blame Dak for his part. But we're talking about 48 points.
@@ClaxtonBay123 12 of those were his though

Rex is a bottomline type guy. In his mind Dak threw a meaningful 400 yards lol not considering it was garbage stats. GB defense was more relaxed

He has that playoff experience and whatever mistakes he made in the past he should have learned from those mistakes, but instead of correcting it he keeps on repeating it. Everybody brags on how dominate their offense is and rightfully so, but if their offense is so great then why could they not keep pace with the Packers offense. Teuthful? Lmao fak ain't never winning anything he gets nervous in big games. Everyone knows the d stunk but Fak threw 2 crucial ints made the game out of reach. Fak got to go.
Dak has 5 interceptions in the last 3 Cowboys playoff losses
He should've had 4 picks yesterday if Packers would've held onto the ball.
At 10 minutes in the 4th quarter when the game was 48-16 Daks stats were
24/39 193 YDs 1 TD and 2 INTs (including a pick 6)
Agreed! I was hoping MMc would pull the starters so that Dak wouldn't pad his stats, but here you go. Cowboys fans ready for another year of this?
Yeah but he turned it up when the Packers pulled their starters
The blame for that annihilation rests squarely on the shoulders of the entire team, coaches included. They were outcoached, outplayed & outclassed.
Stop it.. dak S----
Thank you Rex
Rex Ryan wants to coach Dallas next season.
thats totally what it looked like
All 3 facets of the Cowboys team failed on their first try: Defense (gave up a touchdown); Offense (punted); Special Teams (penalty).
The offense didn't get anything until gb let up and had 48
@@GoatReactz facts. If GB kept their foot on the gas,Dallas wouldn't have scored anything after that first td
Dak was voted this year as an All Pro QB. He threw two interceptions, one of which was a pick six.
Football is a team sport so rarely does a loss fall solely on one player. However Dak gave two possessions away. That’s 14 possible points. Dak shares a large responsibility for this loss.
Don’t forget two INT’s were also dropped
Not possible. Those 14pts definitely happened
You take out the turnovers and the defense gave app 5 full length field touchdown drives and somehow still won time of possession 31 minutes to 28
75

44
You simply can't win if your defense is giving up long touchdown drives, even without the turnovers they still score 35
Doesn’t really matter the defense couldn’t stop a parked car
Nah that first INT was a great play
But those slant routes in the NFL are ran by big WR
Cooks is 5’8. Dallas being cheap once again with their personnel lol
Don’t blame dak ??? Huh????
Another moral victory for the Boys!
There is no moral victory here. They got destroyed on every level.
Dallas went 1-3 against teams with a winning record this season ..so their record was way over inflated ! I’m not surprised one bit by this extermination!
Extermination? That’s dark, bro. But accurate 😂
@@CorePathway I would have PREFERRED to see a game like the RAMS/LIONS
What stat are you making up? The Cowboys went 4-4 against winning teams.
@@bronxbomber2150 Yeah but they also had a false sense of confidence because their offensive numbers were overblown by playing terrible defences in the NFC East.....
@@bronxbomber2150 Not to mention being that bad against the run in the playoffs is usually a death sentence and they've been trash against the room for a while....... Their best player is Micah parsons and he is garbage against the run
Watching the Cowboys play this year I could tell that they lacked leadership amongst the players. There was never someone who telling the others to calm down and the defensive coordinator was awful. He doesn't know how to call games and prep his players. But at the end of the day it comes down to one person the owner/gm Jerral Jones. At 81 he still can't hire someone with real football acumen to run the team.
Long time Dallas watcher and you are 1000% correct. This team is a loser because of Jerry Jones’s vanity and refusal to step away (his son wouldn’t be any better)… I knew watching them celebrate the win against Washington Commanders that they had NO CLUE that win meant nothing going into the playoffs…Dan Quinn sucked yesterday and should be fired but likely it will be McCarthy-he should count his blessings to be bought out of his remaining year.
And anyone who thinks Belichek would get within 500 miles of Dallas is an idiot, too. He would never let Jerry Jones run HIS team…at least I think he knows how dangerous and self-defeating that would be…and I don’t like him at all…but he knows how to coach and win a football game.
Jerry needs to go
@@mesomebody5017100% everything you said was spot on
The coach get fault too why are you running the ball and try to make the first down on third down.
Did Rex Ryan not watch the game???? 😂
No they just go off of stats and think they know what no they're talking about
Rex ryan didn’t watch the game lol
hes like Belichik, hes great defense but delusional about offense.
Blame Dak as well
The whole team was complacent. Reading their own headlines about their 16 game home winning streak. They were sooo overconfident…
Yeah I kind of seen this coming I knew they were gonna come in with a false sense of confidence because of their stats on offense But their offensive stats were overblown just because of playing in that terrible defensive division..... And their defense has always been soft so in the playoffs that's a recipe for early exit...
Not just the team. The fans, the owner, all of these analysts thought it was a done deal they were going to the Super Bowl because they would have had at least 2 home playoff games. All these people every single year look way too far ahead.
It is more they are never reliable
@@ronjones3977 how has their D always been soft?
WHAT A DAK CHOKE.
Dak Prescott is BAD for the Dallas Cowboys and an insult to Dallas fans and should be FIRED
Dak put the Dallas defense in a hole with 2 interceptions that lead to 14 points.
1 interception that led to 7 points and 1 interception returned for a touchdown.
Same Old Dak Mistakes, Time To Move On...!
Rex Ryan is an idiot. That pic six Dak threw took all the air out of this team. He's supposed to lead.
So the defense played great? Takes both sides of the ball to win.....
@@victormoreno554 Defense saw the offense punt and throw a pick on the first 4 drives. That sure inspires the defense huh?
@@nathancook2852 sure! You are totally right! How can they play D if the offense isn't doing well? Have a great new year!
@@victormoreno554 Dallas could have any of the best head couches in history but as long as they have Dak they'll never win anything. I have said it for a while. This team wants to quit on Dak. It started with Amari Cooper calling Dak a black Kirk Cousins. Did you see CD yesterday how frustrated he got with Dak at the start of the game.
Rex is right, Packers only punted 3 times.
No sacks, Micah had 1 pressure, and Bland was getting cooked.
Not to mention Aaron Jones was running all over the field.
Pick 6 and constant 3 and outs had nothing to do with it. Got it 👌🏽
Dak is suppose to be an mvp right? So he should have been a game changer but sadly hes a game manager😂😂
He is not right. They only had 143 yards rushing total. We had 123. Dak was responsible for 2 of their touchdowns in the first half.
Say it with me GAME MANAGER
@@kxrtoonz429No he was in the talks wks ago. Lamar is clearly the MVP
I ve been a Cowboys fan my whole life and for the last seven years (plus) and have been promised a superbowl for 30 years . But the last 7 have been the most painful because it’s a repeat every year the same thing we get to a playoff round and Prescott chokes and throw interceptions and our defense doesn’t show up because they are tired of it too so d t tell me not to blame prescott
To be fair. The D showed up last year. U tell me niners only gonna score 1 offensive touchdown Id say that's gonna be a win
This one is not all on Dak though, the defense gave up 41 points.
Hahahahahahahahahah I feed off cowboys tears
Dak couldn’t lead a flock of buzzards to dead meat.!
They scored on 6 of 7 possessions. They couldn't stop the run since the Bills game. The defence also nearly gave away the Lions game on that last drive. You can't stop the run, you can't win. Dak was bad, the real reason they were destroyed was the defence. Can't live in nickel and dime defences. They got no pass rush.
Get rid of Dak. And the defense sucked. A big embarrassment.
