Thankfully whether your skin is white, brown or black or yellow, God has made sure that everything else inside a human being is the same. Rest depends on angels like Dr Verma.
In public health care a lot more needs to be done especially rural areas. India is heavily socialistic so it's important for those in far out places to have access to good quality health care. The private hospitals are world class.
These facilities you are getting in private setup. It might be expensive for common population of India. But for compared to what people spend outside India on health care, its very low here. But let me tell you, in government setup, you might get treatment in minimal costs. Probably rupees 10-20 opd slip, ruppes 150-200 for xray, free antenatal checkups and so one. But the cons are due to huge population of India people have to wait in a queue for few hours. This hampers the doctor patients ratio. Thus sometimes you dont get special room but have to stay in public wards. But treatment part is top notch too. Aiims, PGI, NINHAMS, GMCs all around india. Best part is emergency cases are based on emergency priority dont have to wait.
Pain killers are available in spades here. They are not rationed like in the Netherlands. It depends on the doctors though. Based on their experiences, some limit prescribing opiods as much as possible.
@@mirrorflame1988 please elaborate, I was only able to find tramadol and tapentadol. For severe pain, not having oxycodone, hydrocodone, dilaudid, or other oral-opioids limits recovery. I am trying to have a shoulder repair done, but without adequate analgesia, I'm afraid.
@@ranjitpelia3267 Indian doctors are generally very weary of using opioids. They usually go with NSAIDS which work wonderfully. Don't worry about pain, Indian doctors will manage it very carefully.
Better facilities go for an indwelling perineural catheter. Opioids are not usually prescribed after discharge from hospital. Please google multimodal analgesia and you will have an idea. Good luck
Why is the woman in bed? I was walking within an hour of waking up from my hip replacement surgery. She appears that she wants to be waited on and not recover. Because the US is far better for most other things. You'd have a medical emergency couple of times in your life or need to visit a doctor couple of times a year. The lifestyle that US provides is 24x7.
Only private hospitals are like this most of the government hospitals in India are not very clean & over crowded. (And if anyone from india thinks that I'm a outsider try to defame India, then i want tell them I'm from India)
But they're reliable. In fact, most government hospitals are known to diagnose cases better than private ones. Reason being that they see anything between 4x to 10x number of cases that private hospitals see. As for hygiene...well...so many people will result in so much of a mess.
The Reality of matter is the corporate hospitals in India have two sets of rules one for the foreigners and another for the Resident Indians .Foreign patients are treated like Demi God's whereas for the Indian patients if he is a Rich man it politically connected then the treatment if different.I am quoting this due to my personal experience concerning my family member at a corporate Hospital in Hyderabad India.I incurred a sum of Rs seven lacs. Before the designated date of operation they promised me adequate Blood supply but at the last minute they ditched the matter Imagine my close relative ran like a mad man throught the city for blood to the extent the auto rickshawala took pity on him and said if you are getting extra bottle you can pay me later. Also when they billed they charged Rs 45000/_ thousand for the P.P.E. kit.Imagine a corporate hospital cannot afford a basic P.P.E. kit.The entire set up may seem like a Gold but the reality is different.

Once i went to govt opd for minor operation. The doctor told me that you are here so lets do the operation now. I spend only less than 500 rupees😊
Thankfully whether your skin is white, brown or black or yellow, God has made sure that everything else inside a human being is the same. Rest depends on angels like Dr Verma.
India is now the best , i too agree
Believe me, the US is amazing in many, many ways, but health care in India is reachable.
In public health care a lot more needs to be done especially rural areas. India is heavily socialistic so it's important for those in far out places to have access to good quality health care. The private hospitals are world class.
Good hospitals are few in number not accessible to people of all sectors.
Next time try Indian Public or Government Hospitals. It just like staying at Hilton or Motel 6.
Best part is emergency cases are based on emergency priority dont have to wait.
what about pain management? Aren't opioids not available, to the same extent. So guessing Morphine and Tramadol only?
Good luck
How much for two hips , two knees, and one Royal Enfield motorcycle?
Ya us ppl living in lalaland is always afraid if Asian medical facilities
Incredible India ❤
I have heard about BLK it is good
Why is the woman in bed? I was walking within an hour of waking up from my hip replacement surgery. She appears that she wants to be waited on and not recover. The only time in recovery I was in bed is when I was sleeping - I heard the same thing from others who had total hip replacement surgery. The total cost of my surgery in the US was $250 and I stayed one night in the hospital.
You are right! My husband
went home after only 18 hrs.post surgery . in USA.
She is in Hospital because she can afford to have some extra care in India, you might be rushing out of hospital to save some bucks 😂😂😂😂
Even Indian pharmacists are half doctors. They will treat you freely. Just tell them the symptoms. 😃
If you earn in dollars, India is the best place to live in!
I love blk hospital and their services. My twins daughter born in here during Covid first wave when there is national lockdown happens.
My twins daughters are dangerously underweight and born during 7th month.
But blk somehow mange the whole case perfect.. Now i'm blessed with perfect healthy two daughters. I believe god save my daughters and blk hospital staff and doctors are god in disguise.
My elder sister also born in here too 45 years ago... Which is makes this hospital more close to my family.
THANKS TO ALL STAFF AND DOCTOR OF BLK HOSPITAL...
hospital name?
What I don't understand though is why so many people have left India and gone to the United States. Maybe someone can explain that
Because the US is far better for most other things.
I agree to some extent; it depends on the city and its population. In my city, the government hospital is comparable to mid-tier private hospitals.
Govt hospitals have the best and world class doctors do you know what Indian
Wow. That sounds crazy.
@@unknownalien3882 since your name itself is called Un known Alien everything going in the earth will sound crazy to you.The loot of Medical field I don't know what is going in Alien is same throughout the world all camouflaged in High sounding Jargons like world class treatment and so on.Only the Shoe Wearer knows where the shoe pinches.

Hope Medical tourism doesn't make Medical care for local Indian unaffordable.
If they're not using opiates, then what are they using?
As a nurse I too am wondering for pain management what are they using if not opioids.
Your currency is stronger than the Indian rupee, so you feel that medical bills are relatively cheap. Most of the Indian population can't afford medical bills or medical insurance.
My father suffered a heart attack, and I had to admit him to a private hospital because the government hospital in my city, Surat, does not have cardiac facilities. The total medical bill cost us 900,000 rupees, which is equal to 1 million rupees. Thank God for a generous businessman, who is also my father's employer, who paid the entire medical bill. Now, my father has a 33% ejection fraction and is taking heart failure medications that cost 3,400 rupees per month. There seems to be a medical mafia lobbying against government hospitals and the people in the entire world
How many of you saw green screen on her right side
What hospital was this?
new mexico...there would be no breaking bad if he decided to do the same.
Which hospital in India is this?
BLK I think she said in the video.
Full form?@@raviani82
4:13 ... Crux of this testimony! 😅✌️
God bless u
US has better medical technologies and worst medical insurance and India has better doctors and good medical insurance at a fraction of the price. So obv people would come here from abroad for treatment.
So basically with that Murrican bill you can visit India, diagnose himself properly and travel whole India including snow capped mountains, desert, jungle etc with less money that cost the bill in Murrica 🤦🤦🤦🤦

This video is about a medical traveler who travelled to India from the USA(United States of America) for bilateral knee replacement surgery (TKR) surgery in Delhi. Patients from the USA and European countries travelling to India for different medical & surgical issues. Indian medical tourism is growing very fast and has become the most popular destination for medical tourism.
In this video, our main motive is to spread awareness among the patients who are seeking medical treatment in India. We talk & Discuss about The different challenges that overseas /International patient and patient attendants face in India during the medical treatment journey.
All of these like every test , medicine etc are 0 cost in private and government hospital in Rajasthan😂😂
Someone please let her visit to sadar hospitals of Indian districts...... Next time she will choose her words correctly😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Today I heard about horrible news from USA against a Indian student's death be police and on the top of it they are laughing...so I won't comment on this lady
No Money No Medical in Inda. This is the truth.
That's a weird promotion of India. Break Hip and Come Delhi
😂
😂😂😂
Affordable for you because of the Dollar-Rupee exchange rates. Whereas for us Indians, it's a total rip off. $4 a day for daily wages worker here in India on average and you make that in half an hour for a worst paying job. Regardless of your experience of the Indian Medical System, it still is unaffordable for the common man in India. Whilst we are proud of the praise and appreciation of our Country but we still lacks behind in minimum wages to match your 'cheap/affordable experience'. What the Government did to Indian Citizens is commendable or something worthy of the appreciation for the various Health Schemes which are basically free of cost but no sugarcoating here, 'It still is expensive for us to have the same affluent experience as you did'. Sad but True.
None of them take away the fact that she spoke. Her message is to a particular group of people she is addressing. And more of them using facilities in India grows our technologies and facilities and of course, the economy which can act as a driver for people affording such care in India. Why do you have to find a problem to a solution?
@@pradeepnair162 I am only saying for her to show both sides of the coin. What's good a car with a perfect body/frame but a Faulty, rusty & defective motor/engine? Tomato costs 30/Kg where i am at and it costs 200/Kg where you're at. Do you get the reference here?

@@NuckFugget Nope, I don't. Tomato in season cost 10 bucks here. Every coin has two sides, so whatever one presents you have a counter argument. The point here is that this lady got a great treatment at a very reasonable cost here in India. Should others not take advantage of it just because the natives (😀) cannot afford it? And should she not put it out in the open so others who are ill and desperately see treatment but cannot get it in their countries due to exhorbitant costs not get treated here? I just dont see your point!!

indian hospitals runs on basic empathy, yes theres business, and corruption, but doctors and especially nurses dont forget the first and basic rule of healthcare of showing empathy
They earn in dollars, euros.. That why its look cheap to them.. Ask from indians how expensive is consultation.. Testing.... Good doctor r privately found.. Their consultation range from 800 to 2000 rs which expensive.. They also write expensive multiple tests and medicine
foreigners Came India For Cheap medical. we all already know that. there country evan a scan was like 1000 $ Right?
These foreigners are increasing medical sector inflation
Unfortunately our celebrity going abroad for treatment 😂
Only Cancer
the so called super power and developed countries, common man has to wait for 6 months to meet a specialist....
Our all hospital not like this. This is private hospital, government hospital not very clean ya but private hospitals are very clean and cheap to some foreign as their countries currency value 😂

Only for you people because $1=₹83
In india medical expenses are going up amd up 🤦
I dont get it.
India can only be cheap. But USA is the best. But why you travel to India.?
Dont you have insurance? Do you have to pay for yourself ? Havt you paid taxes through out your life ?
What i wrong here ?
Go to USA you will face bankruptcy if we did any opretion in USA. There is many examples for this. In India if you have a good insurance then you can get world class hospital in fraction of cost. Indians always underestimate their own country.
US dnt have such
The problem in India is we have this two extreme ...poverty & ultra richness ....
For rich people especially from western countries.. India is the best place for best Medical services at cheap rate due to 5 star Hospitals with Corporate money Into the medical sector...
Whereas in rural area or even in Cities like Mumbai ,Thane etc(Both BJP/Modis pet project for Smart City) the basic amenities for poor people or even middle class Indian Society is Very Very very poor 😢...
Look at Govt hospitals... No beds 🛌, no MRI etc Machines...
Children's in Bihar, UP(Modis ) die due to lack of Oxygen..
Facilities in India for poor are Worst than Vietnam(90% of Vietnam hospitals are Run by Govt therefore will never see children's etc die there due to lack of basic facilities)
India is a Paradise for Rich people availing facilities from Ambani etc Hospitals... Whereas Only TATA's & Wadias are the ones building hospitals for poor like Tata cancer Hospital..
Doctor ratio per 1000 people is worst in India
Medical college fees for students is sometimes higher than countries like Philippine, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine..
India has a long way to go
Just wishing we get a pro - poor/middle class govt which addresses Healthcare & education sector more than giving free hands to corporate sector.
Jay Bharat.
Savindhan Zindabad.
Trump's elder sister fr sure
Paid promotion.
Buddy! I don't know where you from? Come to Chennai and see, Bunch of Americans and Europeans getting their transplants and surgery in our hospitals. Don't underestimate us.
With health facilities available in India, I still couldn't understand why the West & the East too called India the lowest 3rd world, dirty slums and pverty stricken!
