He plays just like his father. He relies too much on his athleticism and has not developed any skills. The difference is, LeBron was so big, strong, and fast that he could use his athleticism to dominate. Bronny is half his father's size, so he does not have the capability to dominate with athleticism alone, and he has no skill. Therefore he is not a good basketball player at all. And then, there's the understanding of the X's and O's of basketball. It is the same thing as before, neither LeBron nor his son understand how to operate properly on the offensive end of the floor. I don't know why people can't see it. That is why LeBron doesn't like coaches that try to run an actual legitimate offense. He doesn't understand the fundamentals of it. He only knows how to play 1 way, which is why his usage rate has remained the same throughout his entire career, no matter who is on his team. Drive to the basket, kick the ball out, and see what happens. Kobe Bryant said he and Phil Jackson called it Accidental Basketball. LeBron has passed this on to his son.

Actually, a lot of Super Star players did start as Super Stars, they just weren't at their best self, YET. MJ23 averaged around 30 as a rookie... Kobe and LeBron had real averages as rookies... So yeah, if you got it, even if it has room to grow, it's still going to show early on. Hell, look at C.Clark of the WNBA... She's broken records already as a rookie and posting an average.

I think they are playing side defense on the PnR, that means push everything to the baseline, big guy helps until the guard recovers. If he let the guy go middle there wouldn't been any help, because the big guy is expecting the player to come baseline. I think he executed there defensive rules to perfection. There was no gamble, actually the opposite.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the Lakers own their 1st round picks in 2025 (strong draft class already) and 2026.
Put Bronny in the starting lineup, be a bottom tier team, get lottery picks, draft good players, disregard LeGMs wishes.
In two years Bron’s contract is over, waive Bronny, you can fire Reddick and Pelinka too and start a rebuild with the new guys you have drafted plus they still have their 2028-29-30 draft picks, tomcontinue the build.
The Lakers can capitalize on the whole Bron-Bronny hype financially and have 4 scapegoats for the dogshit performances. Overall win long term.
