      Following instructions I saw on DB, I avoid eating for 12+ hrs before I dose. Been doing a lemon tek and have almost no nausea

      I don't eat 3 hours before, i usually take them with lemom in kinda of lemon mousse, afeter the effects i never eat anything for at least 4 hours, in my last trip o did ate cake after some hours, and i thnk to my future trips i will do that also, some tea with cake, after 4 hours effects

      If anything eat fruit oranges and pineapple but really just chop up the shrooms and take sublingual if you can if not chop shrooms and take them like a shot a liquor. Down the shrooms chase it with apple juice or ?

    Melon. Cantaloupe or honeydew. Pre cut it into chunks and bag it before your trip. Put the bags of melon in the fridge. After you start tripping and get hungry the cold melon is amazing!

    My experience is to be fasted. However, I’m an experienced in intermittent fasting. Shrooms can help you to listen to your body, and mind, use this wisely. Have fun, be safe, and grow.

    Yep since I started taking shrooms I’ve started not wanting to eat as much meat and more vegetables! Exercising and taking care of my body!

      Omg this has been my experience!! I’m super new to this and since I had the experience, I’m not particularly wanting to eat processed foods or pork, and I love ribs. I’m finding myself wanting to eat more veggies and fruits. I’m so glad I’m not alone in this experience, I thought It was all in my head. Thank you for sharing!!

    Infuse honey by blending powdered shrooms and bit of powdered ginger to reduce nausea, great way for microdose. Add tea spoon to hot lemon water in the Morning.

      shrooms embedded in honey last indefinitely, and even retain potency quite well (over a year, at least)
      i use the alice approach, a little nibble of cap, a little nibble of stem; they even start tasting good, when one is unhurried

      @jamilynn322 if for microdosing then start low 0.1g-0.5 of powdered shrooms for each teaspoon of honey. So you need to workout amout of honey. If jar has 340g you will use 0.1g for each teaspoon. 68 portions will require 6.8g of shrooms. I add 2g of powdered ginger to reduce nausea. Blend well together with hand mixer or blender. I put in warm tea or spread on the toast.

      if you mean for preserving them, jami', simply drop whole dried shrooms _one-by-one_ into the jar, and push them down into the honey (with a chopstick or the like) such that each single shroom is completely encased and can become fully soaked
      if inclined, no harm in holding or singing a heart-prayer, or a simple intent
      heaven knows how long they can remain active, and an awful lot of shrooms can fit in there, with not a great deal of honey needed
      (so start with some honey at the bottom of the jar while getting the hang of proportions, which does not take long)

    Almonds + Dried Cranberry / Pumpkin Seeds / Raw Unfiltered Honey + Water is my go-to after during the comedown/glow phase.

    I prefer to fast. Although I do find my appetite is increased by the end of the effects. I'd say, just control yourself so that you don't over eat or be tempted to eat unhealthy foods. I'd consider eating soemthign that has fats in order to try and slow down the digestive system a bit. That's why things like dark chocolate or Bulletproof coffee could be a good choice. Like you had stated that it's person dependent. This is just what works for me.

    I completed your course and grow my own. Have never tripped, but micro-dosing is great. I mix with honey so there is no upset stomach.

    I’m lucky like that, never experienced nausea on shrooms.
    I used to find eating really weird while tripping, then things shifted. When I quit alcohol entirely as a matter of fact. I now really enjoy eating, after the come up and meditating. I find food tastes better, like I’m more sensitive to it, I also get synesthesia allowing me to experience taste as visuals or architectural structures. It’s really awesome.
    I do try not to eat a few hours before ingesting though. A heavy stomach or guts can really affect your trip negatively.

    We have gotten in the habit of eating a light meal of non-processed foods 3 to 4 hours prior to consumption of shrooms.
    I found that having to empty of a stomach contributes to my nauseousness, while being too full can mute the whole experience, so for me the is definitely a sweet spot.
    On a footnote, we have also gotten into the habit of having a yummy meal, usually some sort of soup, prepped and waiting in the wings for the post trip comedown.
    Nothing like a piping hot bowl of pho after your head has been stretched out a bit😊

    I got a very bad feeling after not eating. Getting hungry gave me a feeling of doom. Once i ate i felt all better.

    Lemon tekking has definitely been my go to when i want to avoid nausea. It shoots me to the moon though..

      I've been doing that mixed with a little ginger tea, but I still have nausea through the entire "come up." Almost ruins the experience. Can I ask how long you let yours sit before consuming? Maybe I'm not giving it enough time.

      I did the tek thing then waited 20min, strained it then I made a tea but hmm it didn’t hit hard , no upset stomach though. Then eating them just by grabbing.. hmm oh yeah I felt it

    These are fun or can be fun but it’s a tool and a medicine . They helped me so much with addiction and depression.

    On the day of a trip, I start with a light, easy-to-digest breakfast. Then I allow three hours between breakfast and beginning the trip. While I sometimes have feelings almost like nausea at the first onset, it has never affected my stomach. I think allowing sufficient time between the meal and the trip is essential to prevent actual nausea.
    During the trip, I find that I need a lot to drink, and since I trips can often be a real energy drain on me, I drink a lot of natural electrolytes. About halfway through the trip, I allow for a light snack, usually whole-grain English muffins, or oranges. I've gotten the message during my trips that fasting is a normal part of the process.
    My trips usually last 6-6.5 hours. After the trip, I eat whatever feels right to eat!
    All the things you list to avoid per the ayahuasca "dieta" are already things I do without.

    If you don't feel a little bit of hesitation before taking psychedelics you shouldn't be doing them.
    I like a little bowl of warm oatmeal after chomping down some dried shrooms.
    Not sure why. I usually take a shower too, just so I can ease into it. Happy tummy, nice and fresh, start to feel awesome.
    Maybe it's a bit of a ritual or im just used to it. Gotta do something for an hour.

    I once drank a double shot of espresso before shrooms on a empty stomach and i started like vibrating and felt like i was gonna blast of into space. It was kinda amazing

    I was smoking weed before I tried shrooms so I didn't feel any nausea. I also had no issues smoking weed during the trip. I usually smoke all the time so that's why I think it wasn't an issue for me.

    for me, it's either a smoothie or in capsules. I tried lemon tek before but didn't see the difference, so smoothie works as fruits get digested easily

    I don’t like to fast for a long time because then my stomach hurts and it makes it uncomfortable! So now usually I like to take my shrooms around 11 in the morning that way I haven’t eaten because I was asleep and in the morning of I’ll eat a little fruit! Then in a couple hours before I eat my shrooms! I do drink a cup of coffee in the morning because I don’t want to feel bad and craving but it’s a few hours before I take the shrooms! I grind mine up in a weed grinder just for my shrooms and put the in capsules! Oh I’m doing that! I’m putting them in some soup lol does it last as long as eating them?

    Lol. When I was younger 20,21. We used to go to Wendy's and get bacon cheeseburgers to put our shrooms on. Back then was fine. 20 years later think that would lead to all sorts of stomach problems.

      Likely due to the tolerance build up of pscilocybin :) recomend to wait 10-14 days between doses to ensure full effects :)

      Cannabis is definitely beneficial during the come up. It's also very delightful after the come down. Cannabis and water after coming down are top tier. ❤

    I prefer to fast ( water fast ) because shrooms give me the diarrhea. I have ulcerative colitis and IBS . If I eat or had eaten earlier I have a really bad time.
    I also prefer to grind them into powder , then place it in gelatine capsules. Much easier to swallow and easier to digest. Not for new users

    Gotta disagree on one thing. If dried properly, they can taste ok, or at times even nice. Friends have told me my shrooms tasted like snacks 😉 They even at times have a sweetness in them, though I’m not sure why.

    its all weird, fresh fruits. watermelon is a great way to stay hydrated and if you feel sick just drink some water, you'll feel way better if you just let yourself puke and get it over with lol ✌️💚

    carnivore based diet and shrooms haven't caused me any issues. Shrooms are closer to animals than they are to plants.

      eating meat causes inflammation in the body, i love myself a good burger but the blood tests after carnivorous meals compared to plant based meals are undeniable

    Lemon tech cuts down the nausea for me. The acids in lemon juice and vinegar dissolve the chitin which is what the cell walls of mushrooms and the exoskeleton of hard shelled insects are made of, unlike the cell walls of green plants made of cellulose. Stomach upset comes from the off gasses created in the stomach during the digestive process. Lemon tech your mushrooms and the acid in the lemon juice will dissolve the chitin so the stomach doesn't have to. Off gas in a glass not in the gut.
