Posted my comment on your second video about a wish to have you cover gastritis and slow motility. It's wonderful to see someone who appears to be well respected as a GI within AUS actually do something like this, so thank you. There are many, many sufferers in AUS from various GI conditions and most of us get bounced from GP to specialist and often without any real help, then turning to the internet in an effort to help themselves when the PPIs they are inevitably prescribed, simply don't work. I'd also love to see a video outlining logical steps a person with something like gastritis/slow motility/reflux can take to get help - ie. the process involved, from which type of dr to engage with, to what sort of tests and examinations should be done (so we're at least not floundering quite so much!).

Hi Anna that’s wonderful to hear and indeed poop is a great topic and there’s so much we’re learning about it - what’s in it, what is considered ‘normal’ and even why poop transferred from one healthy person to another person suffering from Clostridium difficult colitis can improve symptoms quite dramatically. I certainly have a lot of videos in mind which I’ll be doing on this subject 😀

@@AnnaSzabo Hi Anna yes indeed that is a great suggestion and the effects of prolonged fasting on the gut is well worth exploring. I will try to do a video on this topic at some stage - have a huge backlog of requested videos to produce but I'll add that to the list 😃

Hello doctor, my father suffered a stroke. He’s still having difficulty swallowing with his speech therapist. They are using a translator. However, I believe there’s a still language barrier because he is a visual learner and they only have audio translator. If possible, can you make a video in Vietnamese and show its technique to swallow after a stroke & explain it’s risk of aspiration.

Did you work in Williston North Dakota for a while about 3 years ago? If so my husband still talks about you. You had talked about doing a lecture on h-pylori soon after we had seen you if it was you. My husband had came in to his follow up appointment in his dress jacket and all. And your reaction was priceless, he is a real smart butt so it made good laughs to this day

@@GutDr he was and only one I could get my husband to trust. I'll have see if I can find him. He is back to having the same issues as he did with the h-pylori. I need go in to see him also I'm sure. It's getting time for next impaction to happen. Be the 3rd in my life like this. Last one (after the fact) I lost about 110 pounds in about 3 months. But that's after it happen! Always happens about this weight I am now lol. Dreading this! Last one was like being in labor, frankly I'd rather been in labor. Oh well thanks for saying something and thanks for making the topics less taboo for us older ppl to talk about
