No one will ever know how much this scene means to me. My dad and I bonded over it. It was sci-fi and also involved my favorite singer. So when he watched it he was reminded of me. And I watched it because I love sci fi. I’m not close to him. But we bonded over this. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude.
I don’t have the best relationship with my dad. But we bond over sci-fi. And he knows I love Lana del Rey. I mentioned a sci-fi show and he mentioned this scene. And said it reminded him of me. We both love this show and I didn’t expect my favorite artist to make a cameo. And the fact that he heard this and thought of me is making me cry
Welcome to the Lana cult! This is only the beginning of your journey :-) Start with the album this song is on "Born to Die" and work your way forward. You have almost 13 years to catch up on!
Swinging in the backyard Pull up in your fast car Whistling my name Open up a beer And you say, "Get over here And play a video game" I'm in his favourite sundress Watchin' me get undressed Take that body downtown I say, "You the bestest" Lean in for a big kiss Put his favourite perfume on Go play your video game It's you, it's you, it's all for you Everything I do I tell you all the time Heaven is a place on earth with you Tell me all the things you wanna do I heard that you like the bad girls Honey, is that true? It's better than I ever even knew They say that the world was built for two Only worth living if somebody is loving you And, baby, now you do Singin' in the old bars Swingin' with the old stars Livin' for the fame Kissin' in the blue dark Playin' pool and wild darts Video games He holds me in his big arms Drunk and I am seeing stars This is all I think of Watchin' all our friends fall In and out of Old Paul's This is my idea of fun Playin' video games It's you, it's you, it's all for you Everything I do I tell you all the time Heaven is a place on earth with you Tell me all the things you wanna do I heard that you like the bad girls Honey, is that true? I'm almost done with the show but this scene was like wtf is even happening, the music didn't seem to fit and the weird stock footage playing as he walked was super cringey, and then it ending with him happily handing his money over to con artists to "own" a star just so he can give it to his unrequited love is just...ugh...so, so lame. I didn't understand the bad reviews until it got to this scene. I guess some people liked it, and that's cool, but I think it is safe to say that most people will be left scratching their heads.
I just got to this episode, and seriously, what was even going on? The soundtrack felt totally off, and the awkward slow-motion shots made it so cringeworthy. Then, to top it off, the character's big moment is just giving away his savings to some shady guy selling fake art, all to impress someone who doesn't even care about him. I didn't really get the bad reviews before, but now I totally understand. Some folks might dig it, and that's fine, but I bet most people are just going to be confused.
@@neomargs I did watch the show, and I totally get that opinions can vary. I just found those particular elements really jarring. Maybe it didn’t hit me the way it did for others, but that's just how I felt about it. Everyone’s got their own take, right?
Probably the best scene in the show.
Da kann ich dir nur zustimmen, ich finde die ganze Serie hervorragend, aber diese Szene ist schon etwas ganz besonderes.
I agree.

I’m not close to him. But we bonded over this. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude.
Thank you, for uploading this in its entirety from the beach scene up through the credits.

This show will mean everything to me for the rest of my life
I didn't know the song, but now i can't stop listening to it. The way it matches with the scene is superb.
This is tv as it best.

Swinging in the backyard
Pull up in your fast car
Whistling my name
Open up a beer
And you say, "Get over here
And play a video game"
I'm in his favourite sundress
Watchin' me get undressed
Take that body downtown
I say, "You the bestest"
Lean in for a big kiss
Put his favourite perfume on
Go play your video game
It's you, it's you, it's all for you
Everything I do
I tell you all the time
Heaven is a place on earth with you
Tell me all the things you wanna do
I heard that you like the bad girls
Honey, is that true?
It's better than I ever even knew
They say that the world was built for two
Only worth living if somebody is loving you
And, baby, now you do
Singin' in the old bars
Swingin' with the old stars
Livin' for the fame
Kissin' in the blue dark
Playin' pool and wild darts
Video games
He holds me in his big arms
Drunk and I am seeing stars
This is all I think of
Watchin' all our friends fall
In and out of Old Paul's
This is my idea of fun
Playin' video games
It's you, it's you, it's all for you
Everything I do
I tell you all the time
Heaven is a place on earth with you
Tell me all the things you wanna do
I heard that you like the bad girls
Honey, is that true?
It's better than I ever even knew
They say that the world was built for two
Only worth living if somebody is loving you
And, baby, now you do
It's you, it's you, it's all for you

Tell me all the things you wanna do

Honey, is that true?
It's better than I ever even knew
They say that the world was built for two
Only worth living if somebody is loving you
And, baby, now you do
Hmm, hmm, hmm
(Now you do)
(Now you do)
Now you do
(Now, now you do)

evil evil evile vil evil evil evil evil evil
I hope to have as much grace as this, when I am dying. Sure, unrequited love. But staring death in the face is powerful.
I've read the books twice over and it still took me two viewings of the show to appreciate this scene. T_T
All good man, i bet it sucks to have 3 IQ points. Enjoy your smooth brain existence x

Is this plagarism? AI paraphrasing? My lawyers will be in contact...
This is one of the most important part of the story that will have new meanings when u reach the final season. So just wait and see.
Girl, did you even watch the show
