Good Job. I believe you should find your center before you touch or move any models. Especially because on a Fall back in good order that will change the distance they need to make contact, if you widen your unit.. Just thinking out loud.
I'm sure you are correct on the overrun according to the rules, although I feel it would make more sense if it was only given to units that had charged that turn (due to their momentum). For example, what would a unit that has been charged in the rear and then destroys it's opponent do? Overrun away from it's defeated enemy?! I actually have more of a problem with the ability of a losing unit Falling Back in Good Order being able to Reform. Giving a free Reform to a losing unit seems a bit much and I think it will potentially lead to some weird outcomes. It would, I think, have been better if it were restricted to a free Turn manoeuvre. However, I have yet to play the game so I might be wrong! 🙂
I have a question about fall back in good order or flee move in general. If I lose a combat when I’m engaged with (for exemple ) 2 units. I have to flee directly away from unit with better unit strenght. To do that I have to pivot my unit in the centre to face enemy unit I flee from! Sometimes when I pivot in the center my unit I hit enemy unit in the process.. what I have to do? I hope it’s clear:)
AFAIK - It's fine to 'hit a unit', you pivot it (over the top) move it the amount you rolled - Keep moving it until it clears all enemy units and that's where it lands. The models that move over enemy models need to take a Peril test (1-3 that model is removed) p133
@@oldworldfanatics ah ok, I knew I have to do a peril test if during the flee move I hit enemy models, I didn’t know I have to do peril test during pivot to face the centre of the enemy unit! That’s good to know! Thx so mutch!:)
@@oldworldfanatics yes, was only saying in relation to the bit about them turning and then being in march column, when actually they’d still be in close order, if that was not clear. I’ve not rebased mine yet, I’m playing at the old base size until I get new adapter trays. I’m likely to not want to go too wide, particularly with larger bases as the footprint will just be so big, but we’ll see. Really you need to adapt to what the battlefield is like and what your opponent is doing, but, once my guys are on a tray, they tend to stay put 😂
@@jolamber yeah I just saw that when doing our high elf review on seaguard haha 😛 so yeah probably best to stay away from special rules anyway I guess and keep this for ‘standard’ behaviour maybe. Thanks for the comments guys, keep ‘em coming
thanks a ton for this. Ive been scouring the net for videos that detail the finer intricacies of Old World and there are still very few
Glad I could help! Thanks so much for the kind words
This is a fantastic way to ‘update’ a video! Love it!
Cheers. I wasn't sure if it'd be too 'jerky' but it came out ok

This is fantastic! So drilled and redressing? What’s the verdict?
Thanks for taking time to update this!
No problem! Helps me get it in my head

Ah sorry you said it’s fine pivot the unit because it happen on the top of the unit! I didn’t read well! Thx a lot😀
I didn't write it very well hahah. I don't think you do the peril when you pivot, just when you move the flee move and move 'through' another unit
black orcs are heavy infantry so only need to be 4 wide for a rank bonus, I think?
Oh yeah that's correct. They are just my 8th ed ones. Haven't changed them yet :) Though thinking 6 or 7 wide?

Excellent thank you 😀
You’re welcome 😊
Might be worth mentioning 'Drilled'.
A unit can make a free reform before moving every time it moves (except when fleeing).
🤦♂️ Yeah good one. I was mainly thinking about combat here so missed it.
It's actually just a redress the ranks. Little bit different

I still don't agree that they can reform before a charge but there is definately a discussion on this
@@starrius yeah needs an FAQ
If you Give Ground you do not Turn
Did we say that? However, if you follow up a unit giving ground you can in fact 'change facing' which is a turn. p156
