I lost my dad in 2001, he passed away suddenly without any warning. Watching this reunion made me bawl my eyes out, with sorrow that my dad won’t see my family, and joy at watching a father and son unite. Congratulations to you both, treasure every moment xx

This son is so sweet, he has an awesome heart, he deserved this precious moment, it made me cry in pain for all those who did not have this awesome, life changing moment. He jumped through hoops for his dad. Loved his dad without even seeing him once in his life. This is an awesome some with an equally wonderful dad, who said he will be there 24/7. Some moments were created in Heaven, this is one of those moments.!

    Hi Art,
thank you for sharing that special moment with us. From the beginning of the video when you asked for the show's help I felt your longing, and prayed that all will end well.
It broke my heart to see your face when you thought you lost your chance during the dance "tryout".
I am 37 years old, and parents were taken away from us when I was 13, so I can relate to your pain of growing up without a father.
I am over joyed for you and your family. May God bless you with many more years together!!
I am crying tears of joy!!

How amaxing to meet your Father after 37 years and have the rest of your adult life with him. A time with no confusion just a connection to talk and heal. This is the best gift of a Parent. This is unconditional love. I was truely moved.

This touched me deeply. I am so glad for you and your father. As we go through our lives, knowing where we came from, and who we came from, is a large part of our own identity. Knowing that there is another being who loves us, no matter what, is what makes us strong when we interact with strangers who do not love us. You are a piece of both your mother and this man who is your father. Your mother’s spirit is within you, and is so very glad that your family is complete. I wish you and your entire family the very best. Thank you for sharing your story.💐

I love the family reunion aspect of this (this would have been better suited to be on the "long lost family" show). Being at the center of a public performance with all the theatrical dancing and then the singing is just over the top, cringe inducing. While the Mobbed show is definitely not my cup of tea, I'm happy to know this turned out well for father, son and their families and friends.

It happens to a lot of people. I am 63 & not only never met my father, I didn't know who he was. My Mom was murdered when I was 28. Shortly before her death, I asked her point blank who my father was & all she said was it's on your birth certificate. I was afraid to rock the boat, but finally I decided, about 6 years ago, that I was going to get my birth certificate so I could see his name.
I called him & we talked for quite awhile. He asked me when I was born & I told him. He said he wasn't 100% sure as he broke up with my Mom about the time I was conceived, but thought it was a possibility. He was married when he met my Mom, so there was never a chance to be a family. His wife had passed away a few years before I called & he told me that his daughters were very protective of him. I think were afraid of any children from his affairs showing up. We planned on taking DNA tests, but he suddenly passed away shortly after our call.
His niece found out about me & asked me to send a copy of my birth certificate as well as any pics of me. When she saw the birth certificate, she still wasn't sure, but she said when she saw the pics of me from childhood to recent pics, she said there was no doubt I was his daughter, because I looked exactly like 1 of his brother's daughter.
I became friends with 2 of his nieces & 1 great niece. Unfortunately, the niece who asked for the pics died 2 years ago & I feel like I have once again lost out on the chance to be part of the family. His daughter refuse to talk to me or take a DNA test & he had no sons. All of his brothers were deceased, so I couldn't test with them either. I can understand his daughter being worried, but I wanted nothing from them. I only wanted to have absolute proof I was his daughter. Now it's too late.

It was really touching story. It made me cry too. It’ reminds me the day I met my daughter after 6 yrs . When I went to see my mum . I was talking with my mum behind me I had a girl sound asking her aunt , his he my dad,?she told her yes.. she start crying , I couldn’t handle her , she became very hot suddenly and weak. I rushed her to the hospital. I tell the doctors what happened. She was having high fevers. She was treated and I took her with me. Dew she has no mum. Anymore. I thank God she is doing well in school. God bless everyone and their families.

I don't have a tv, so only now discovered this show on the internet, six years after it aired. Art, it was extremely moving and I hope it motivates many people to reach out to lost family and push beyond their fear of rejection and see if there is an open heart waiting for them.. There certainly are a number of bad experiences, but there are so many that are good. I just hope a lot of people take that leap to try to reconnect with their family. They risk a bruising but they gamble for a diamond.
