Denver's a lovely horse , what relief she must have felt from all those adjustments . Love the way she kept turning around to look at you ,great connection !
I love it how every horse has the same looks: Start: "Hey whoa who the hell is this guy? What is he doing?" End : "Hey whoa you gonna let that guy leave already! Come back here!"
Doc, I appreciate all of the specifics you put in the description box about each animal. I find all of that to be very interesting. Thank you for doing all that you can to help all of these beautiful animals!
I love to see how the animal looks at you. You can see that they really do like what you’re doing! And the before and after is incredible. It must be such a relief.
This was really great. I've been a chiropractic patient all my life; was married to one and it makes so much sense to have this as a regular part of a horses' monthly treatment. Afterall, if they are going to let us ride on their backs we should absolutely take care of their spines. Beautiful horse!
Denver is magnificently beautiful. I especially like the orange mane on the top of the head. The ears are very expressive. I just told a friend of mine about your great work and videos and highly recommended she tune in. This episode was particularly informative.
Denver is a beauty, I'm so happy for her, she should feel well after her chiropractic treatment! Good job Dr Doug, and yes kisses do make things better! 😘
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen I just returned from some friends’ ranch. They have 15 Clydesdales + race horses The oldest Clydesdale is about 16 yrs old and strained his back by stepping into a gopher hole the other day. The vet x-rayed & says he’ll be ok but probably has sore muscles in his back due to the twisting he experienced. He’s a big boy at 19HH going on 20HH and weighed in at 1850 pounds. The horse could use your magic touch. But he is quite a handful to move around. Don’t know how the vet managed to x-Ray. I am 6’7” tall and can just see over the top of his back. A really beautiful animal that is so gentle despite his immense size.

Dr. Doug, you are wonderful and so very appreciated. I love that you are so loving, specific, and informative while you work. I have learned so much just by watching you. How lovely it would be to be your appprentice, or have you as a professor!! I would love to do this with just draft horses alone. However, at my age, 8-12 more years of schooling just isn't a reality for me. I'll continue watching you until my time is done. I k ow this was 1 year ago,but I just saw it. Denver is beautiful, I understand her owner's decision that Denver must be her horse She has a pet history of neglect, but she is rescued from all that now. Great adjustments as always Dr. D... you have a heart as big as these horses. I love your work.
She reminds me of my plantation style walking horse I use to have. He was called as such, but we had no way of knowing, he was most likely a draft walker cross. I personally know how hard that shoulder was! You're going to need chiropractic care yourself after that!
Denver is a truly beautiful horse, and he is so calm and well behaved. This Dr does great work, I could even hear the cracks , when he was touching and fixing it. This lady is a great horse mom too.
My cat has been very effective lately. Calm, laying down with her belly up and then even snuggling on me. Stuff that’s a bit more than normal for her. I could t figure out why until I put this video on today. Within a couple minutes she came over and started being super affectionate with me. I think it’s your voice. I think it's really interesting the responses of your animal patients when you do adjustments that have a startling impact on them. Wow Doc!! That shoulder really cracked loud!!! LOL I hope this helps Denver a lot, especially going to the right. The owner should do the belly scratches on both sides. It will help with her flexion to the right. I noticed that when she did it on the left, Denver's flexion was good, and she was nuzzling the owners arm. She should start doing it on the right as well. It will help keep the muscles relaxed and flexible, aiding her in her riding and turning to the right. Just my thoughts after 53 years with horses. All the best Doc!! Stay Safe Everyone!!
