I think some newer phones lack in software and my htc One m7 takes still better pictures than some new phones. Light scales are very good. And the camera interface works extremely well. I don't agree that the camera isn't good.

Not really. The original One series (One X and One S) were cheaper. Appealed to both high end and mid range. And also have color variety for the various models. The m7 was a more expensive, one size fits all, plain, tasteless phone that literally failed in terms of sales and yet HTC rehashed the m7 several more times each year (m8, m9, 10) and in doing so. They drove themselves into such low profit margins. They pushed away their original large fan base. And now. They are former shell of what they once were and don't even compete in anything but the low end smartphone market. Sorry RUclipsr. This phone was not iconic. It was mediocre and the beginning of the end for HTC.
Yup. I owned the M7 twice. Both had the purple photos if things went dark. Very poor battery life and took forever to charge. It was a beauty but overrated and overhyped for its design.
it's iconic and a start of downfall of htc tbh, i'd say m7 and m8 was still doing fine until the m9 came and after that everything goes to shit, even the phone design and spec went shit

I believe the U series took HTC to the top but HTC have to solve the 🔋battery issue. HTC is the most baddest battery celllphones. HTC U11+ not even reach yet to (A+) battry class.
The M7 and the M8 goes into the Hall of Fame of smart phones. I loved those phones.

i bought a new old stock for 100 dollars..its worth every penny when you consider other phones in this price range dont even compare.
