What’s up beautiful people! So today I will show you how I used @TheDoux to restyle my hair. I started with a tangled bantu knot out and with the help of the Bonita Afro Balm Texture Cream, I ended up with a defined and elongated stretched twist out. The Doux Bonita Afro Balm Texture Cream is a salon-quality multi-purpose styling cream for different styles and textures. With the power of the Goji Berry and other organic botanicals, it improves overall hair shine, softness, and moisture. It reduces frizz and fly-aways and lengthen curls for more manageability and control for natural curls, twists, braids, or anything in between.
What's Good? The key ingredients are Goji Berry, Coconut Oil, and Sweet Almond Oil. How To Enjoy? Doux you! A little goes a long way! Apply a small amount to wet or dry hair to control frizz and sustain moisture. Best for softening and refreshing twist-outs, braid-outs, and finger styling to elongate and soften hair without flaking or sticky residue. This creamy styling pomade can also be used for afros, puffs, and protective styles.

MY REVIEW:
I really enjoyed using this cream. I love how I don't have to use a lot of it but it also feels so good that you are going to want to use a lot of it. Just remember a little goes a long way for real for real and for now my favorite way to us it is on dry hair. It does a great job of softening, smoothing, and even moisturizing my hair. I also think it would be perfect for protective styles because of the nice thick texture. Your twists, braids, and twaids will be shining! I definitely recommend it this product.

My 2nd time watching this video. I purchased ‘The Doux Bonita Afro Balm’ the other day and have to tell you I absolutely love it. My plan was to use it as a pomade to put my hair in a bun as I didn’t feel like washing it today. As I was applying it to the front of my dry frizzy hair (6 day old twist out), to my surprise my hair began to form perfect curls with little to no frizz. So I continued to apply it to the rest of my hair and had a perfect curly Afro. I doubt if it will last, so tomorrow I guess I will be washing my hair.

It is fire! And I used it on wet hair yesterday and loved it! Just make sure if you use a leave in that you either use their leave in or something light and do a compatibility test since it could flake. But on dry hair you don't have to be so careful, love it!

I was just looking at this the other day at Target and Sally's but did not purchase it because I was on a mission trying to find Kinky Curly styling custard. I should have purchased it because everybody was out of the Kinky Curly. The only cream I own at present is Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. I keep it on hand for the back of my hair. It tends to get very straight after a few days. I just slap a bit of the Shea Moisture on it and it curls right back up. Not sure what my hair texture is in the back, but it has always done that. Your hair is very nice. Great video as always. Thanks for the recommendation, I will definitely purchase it.
You're welcome!! I haven't tried it yet on wet hair yet but I'm not sure if this will revive your natural curls unless your hair is damp or wet. Its a little thicker than the curl enhancing smoothie (which I love!!) It's kinda like a non greasy pomade. But let me know how it is when you add it to your regular regimen. Also I forgot to mention in the video that it works best alone that's why I like it for refreshing since all the product that I styled with on washday has dried it's safe to use. I'm not sure if that made sense but let me know if I confused you or helped haha

@@sable7211 the cream is super yummy and has a little slip on wet hair too! I know for sure it works well on wet hair with the Doux we want easy leave in. I haven’t tried it with anything else though. If you use it with another product just let the other product absorb a bit first and you should be good
Thank you for sharing this. Quick question: could you also use on an old wash n go style to do a different style ( I.e.- bun, or a twist out)?
Happy to share!! And of course! Just be careful if you style your hair with gel for the wash and go because adding product may cause you to get that cottage cheese like feel. If I’m restyling a wash and go for a twist out I’ll start with water to reactivate the product and then go from there…I actually do that in general (it’s good if you want to stretch your hair for the bun, spray with water, finger detangle, detangle with brush, braid or twist and then you’re ready for the next style)

Hey Ya'll! Someone asked me about refreshing curls with this product and I haven't tried that yet but it is possible. Did the Afro Bonita balm have a weird smell to anybody else???? I bought it today and I was not really happy about the smell.
The smell is definitely interesting but it kinda grew on me. It’s giving me warm bubble gum vibes lol
