As if picking a favorite between HersheyPark and Dollywood wasn’t hard enough, now they are both going to have Cinnamon Bread 😂. We will have to see how Hershey’s cinnamon bread compares to Dollywood’s
Hersheypark has always been better in my opinion, but now with the cinnamon bread its even better!

The new expansion to the entrance of park of was definitely great idea I couldn't tell you how clumped and over crowded the old entrance was a couple years ago
My mom and grandma were born and raised in Hershey, so we’re there every year. My mom used to wax poetic about that swimming pool!
In my opinion, Candymonium was a Rollercoaster that I enjoyed more every time I rode it
I had to decide whether I was gonna ride this or Jersey Devil this year.
I picked Jersey Devil.
Eeeeeeeyeeeeeaaah, that didn't work out too well, did it? -_-
So happy the pinwheel logo is back and with such a huge presence
I visited the park last Saturday and the expansion was a major improvement that successfully introduced Candymonium to the public. Although the park attempted to implement social distancing, people thought it was ok to practically breathe on top of one another when waiting on a line. Park employees were aware of the issue, yet took no action to simply tell guests to stand on the stickers. Despite this blatant problem, I will give credit to the park for placing signs and hand sanitizer dispensers that cover almost the entire park. I had a fantastic experience at the park and with this new expansion, Candymonium is the perfect GP magnet.
I am planning to go very soon so thank you for this video. I love that ATM next to the mural, highlight of Chocolatetown.

I went yesterday and love everything Hershey has done! That old entrance was always cramped and slow moving but now its beautiful and efficient!!
I didn't go before the expansion, but I can say it's a great addition!
If you are young or new to Hershey the new Chocolate town section is great. Hershey park itself is a great place. However for someone who has been coming here since the 80's when I used to take my kids and then in later years my grand children it is for me a sad moment. Over the years The park itself has grown and changed from a quiet uncrowded lovable place to a busy more like a six flags type of amusement park. Yes this is the nature of growth and it is great for amusement park fans. But for the lovers of "tradition" and what Hershey meant for us it was too much change. "BUT" at least we still had the entrance! You pass Chocolate world then walked the shaded pathway winding down passed Hershey sign where I took a photo of my grand daughter then the little shops toward the entry point to the park. Then you enter through the gate into the park and pass more shops then up the wide stairway eventually coming to the Merry go round etc. All gone. It's all just a wide open space and no more trees either. My history has been shattered. So sad. Yes, I understand that this is progress and growth is good. For the newcomers its great. For the old timers? Sad. Chocolate town and the destruction of that wonderful old pathway was the final blow. My Hershey is gone forever. :(
My car made it into your video! when you were pointing toward the passholder parking lot. It was my first visit ever here, so I don't even know how the old entrance looked. But I love how the new entrance looks, and I look forward to going back next June before the pass expires.

I love that they kept the Tent where it was, There was always such a Long walk to get to the Entrance, seem they made it much shorter. I love Hershey during Christmas, although Many Rides are closed. All The Christmas lights made you feel like you were walking in a Christmas Wonderland, and then you some hot cocoa, oh the Nostalgia. The last New Coaster I rode was Laff Track, now there are two I need to Try, plus the Drop Towers and Mixed, as well as Jolly Rancher Remix. Sucks they got ride of Flying Falcon, Maybe they'll bring it back in Chocolatetown

It's amazing to see the extent Hersheypark goes to as far as preserving and honoring its history, such as reusing the bricks from the original entrance.

Have you looked at Indiana Beach's park website since you visited? They have 3 confirmed new rides coming for Summer 2021 on the Rides List at the bottom. They just opened 1 1/2 months ago, added in the Flying Bobs, and have plans for 3 more already? I hope this means that the park will have rapid growth like Kentucky Kingdom and find a way to expand to fit a new coaster, since new compact models are coming out every year. Maybe they'll add something like a Morgan Hyper GTX at the back of the park since they have a spot to put a station now that the Wisdom Rides Tornado called Growler has been removed. It would be the smooth airtime based ride that would increase the amount of visitors by a lot, since the only ride that actually gives good airtime there is Cornball Express, but it's getting pretty rough. Hopefully this rapid expansion means good things for the future!

I kinda liked the old entrance better how it looked. The new entrance is practical, but I don't realy like the look of it. The new buildings are nice, but they remind my of these outlet malls in the US. Overall I think the expansion is great und the park needed a bigger entrance. It would have been cool, if the Hyper would have "fly" over the entrance though.

I personally don’t like the name Candymonium, I actually made a name a while back and I called it “Sugar Rush”. But Candymonium is awesome. So far it’s the second best behind Orion. Because Pantheon and Iron Gwazi are not open as of when this comment is being made.

Sugar Rush would be a better name for a launch coaster, and would sound too similar to skyrush. Sugar High would be a better name, given the emphasis on height that comes with hypercoasters.

I was there in early July and the fountain wasn’t on sadly. The new renovations looks amazing though. The park also had tons of sanitizer stations so I never felt too unsafe.
My mom grew up 5 minutes from Hersheypark!!!
I was there 3 weeks ago and rode Candymonium (credit 139) 6 times well... three rides in 2 days. July 20 and 21 I was in PA visiting my grandmother from Florida and couldn't pass up a trip to Hersheypark. I liked it. It is a little similar in terms of ejector airtime but lacks positive g's like Mako at my home park, SeaWorld but I like Mako better. I do Like Candymonuim's layout better than Mako though.
The second carousel from Hershey Park is currently operating at ...Knotts Berry Farm.

I got stuck on the trims before the final brake run for about ten minutes!!!
Everyone gets stuck on Candymonium's break run for 10 minutes for stacking. It's just part of the ride.
How come I got a free fast track pass and a notification alert came on saying the ride malfunctioned. Also I said the trims which means the brakes that slow you down before you turn around and hit the final brake run. (Watch pov)
You are right though they stack forever and there is no mid course.

it is currently closed but it should reopen next year. I did try Cupfusion!

Is Candy better than Nitro?
I find the airtime stronger on candy than nitro, but it is all up to opinion. Imo candy is better than nitro. Nitro has the better helix. I prefer the clamshell restraints on nitro compared to the new ones on candy, but both are still very comfortable restraints. The trims suck on candy though when they hit. That is about it

Weird. I'm French. Never seen Hershey products in France or in the Netherlands. I hadn't even heard of it before playing Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. I guess is as if we had a theme park dedicated to Morbier cheese.
