What I hate is how much of the current punisher media portrays him as a violent revenge obsessed bafoon. But historically in the comics he is massively intelligent, which is why I loved Thomas Jane’s portrayal. The Punisher is horrifyingly intelligent, he doesn’t just kill his enemies, he destroys them psychologically too. He also doesn’t kill out of pleasure, he kills methodically, and only when he needs to (unlike a current rendition of the Punisher). "Until next time, Frank, may your heart stay strong, And may your path lead you to where you belong." "As you say, Joshua, I’ll take what I find, For every echo carries the weight of the mind."
At this point Joshua seems like the voice of god, or as one comment from an interdimensional therapist said, have you considered using Heath Ledger's Joker for a future video? Or maybe Tony Montana from Scarface, no one has ever made a video of this style, it would be interesting to see a debate between him and the Joker, although I don't have a very clear idea what it would be about
There is a saying in this wasteland: Old World Blues. It refers to those so obsessed with the past, that the cannot see the present, much less the future, for what it is. They stare into what was, eyes like pilot lights, guttering and spent. As the realities of their world continue on around them.
This is a peculiar characterization of the Punisher. In the comics he genuinely enjoys what he does, and while he doesn't hate his family and still misses them, he doesn't really want them or a normal life back despite having enjoyed it and sometimes yearning for death hoping to be returned to it, but he doesn't wage war for himself and doesn't care for the cost to himself because he views it as necessary and himself as deserving of any suffering it brings. He considers Frank Castle dead and separate from the Punisher, and he's a Catholic who was going to be a priest before he became the Punisher, and while he views his work as justice he views himself as evil for doing it and even moreso for enjoying it and goes to confession on Sundays to pray for forgiveness even though he believes himself undeserving of it.
Depends on who you read. In the Pariah run of War Journal, the guy who want to take him down calls his mission "romantic" in the way people want to do what he does
A conversation between Joshua and The Judge from Blood Meridian would be quite interesting. He wouldn't be a character too out of place in the setting either, all things considered.
Interesting. At first glance, Joshua stance vs Franks almost feels hypocritical when compared to how oppositional he was to Batman. But upon listening closely you'll hear he's coming from a more relatable stance to Frank, because of what he's been and has to go through vs never being a killer in the first place. It's kind of like when people who've never let's say played Basketball in their lives try to debate basketball to a former pro. He doesn't condemn Frank with his words but he definitely attempts to nudge Frank's worldview in a different direction. Which eventually would lead to not killing. Which in turn would prove Batman right, albeit as wishful of an ask it may be.
Idea for a video: someone (I personally imagine the SS from FO4, if they somehow crossed paths, as he was pre-war) asking Joshua how he could still believe in God after the nuclear apocalypse. I don’t mean in a cringy Reddit atheist way, but in a “I can’t help but think god abandoned us.” way, a genuine crisis of faith. Hence why I specifically imagine the SS talking to him. Maybe SS was a devout Christian before, until the bombs fell and their spouse was killed. (That’s my headcanon anyway) “I used to be able to close my eyes and pray, but now when I close my eyes, I only see the bombs. When I open them up, I only see the destruction. I’ve tried so desperately to pray and believe, but He has abandoned us…and rightfully so.” If you also subscribe to the idea that Male SS was a war criminal, he could feel like all of this was his divine punishment. (Adding a link between M-SS and Joshua.) I’d love to see an interaction like this. A devout believer speaking to someone who lost their faith when he watched the bombs fall.
I know this is going to be a bit unusual but I just need to hear Joshua speak to Dagoth ur. I feel like if the courier had gotten to him, things would have changed drastically
Well, the wasteland is in a big trouble now, they have punisher that has to came through the whole wasteland to come back home and you can say that he won't hesitate at purging out the whole legion camp including Caesar and lanius after seeing what happened with nipton
so, the course of action is almost the same. The difference is Joshua is more "defensive" than punisher. We also have to remember that Frank Castle saves the last bullet for himself. While joshua still has some hope. I think that is their main difference
“A good man does not sit idly by while Injustice flourishes around him while lives are destroyed” so true hear that god those are the words you should live by if you had any balls
I love this, I get stupidly tired of the no-kill rule. These two are killers, but one has found peace(I think, idk Joshua), and one is eternally tormented by PTSD and dead family. And being wokeified. And being used a USMC propaganda. Poor punisher’s been through a lot.
I know it's selfish but I want to help a friend to play a character, Azrael from the DC universe. He can't seem to understand the character, and neither are we his friends, since we have no knowledge of him. But perhaps if he could watch this kind of video about him, his personality, beliefs and motivations would make him closer and more defined in what he tries to interpret. We are roleplaying as some sort of incarnations from different stories, comics or what ever you'd think of.
"All evil requires is for good men to do nothing" The Punisher lost everything with his family, he has nothing left to be destroyed or lost. He is a spirit of vengeance, wrath, and justice, a gaping whole that sucks in all the evil around it. He was made by those who deserve to be destroyed by him, and they will suffer the consequences of that action. Punisher is one of the most truly brilliant anti-heros ever written, as is Joshua Graham.
Joshua is basically an interdimensional therapist at this point, and I'm all for it.

A center of research, with technology grand,
To return you home, if you dare to stand."
"Why this trouble? What’s the intent of your guide?
Is it a message buried, a truth to abide?"
"Old World Blues speaks of those who can’t see,
The present’s reflection, the future’s decree."
"It’s a story you must live, not merely hear,
To understand the past and face your fear.
For your journey’s your own, the tale yours to spin,
In the Wasteland’s embrace, let the adventure begin."
"Thank you for your wisdom, your insight today,
Until we meet again, may you find your way.
The journey is daunting, the road may be long,
But in every struggle, we find where we belong."
"Until next time, Frank, may your heart stay strong,
And may your path lead you to where you belong."
"As you say, Joshua, I’ll take what I find,
For every echo carries the weight of the mind."
If punisher learned the lesson in Big MT, I can’t imagine what it would mean for him. To understand “New World Hope”.
At this point Joshua seems like the voice of god, or as one comment from an interdimensional therapist said, have you considered using Heath Ledger's Joker for a future video? Or maybe Tony Montana from Scarface, no one has ever made a video of this style, it would be interesting to see a debate between him and the Joker, although I don't have a very clear idea what it would be about
This is pretty much canon no one convinces me otherwise for i must have conviction.
There is a saying in this wasteland: Old World Blues.
It refers to those so obsessed with the past, that the cannot see the present, much less the future, for what it is.
They stare into what was, eyes like pilot lights, guttering and spent. As the realities of their world continue on around them.
Even if the pain is relative, solidarity is still present. Frank lost his loved ones, Joshua was set on fire. Different pains, two strong men.
Can we get The Tenth Doctor meets / debates with Punisher or Joshua Graham? Or some other character I don't mind
Id definitely kill to see the Tenth Doctor
You have literally pulled my moral battle out of the deepest depths of my soul.
Something tells me that The Punisher will do just fine out in The Wasteland. I'm sure he'll appreciate the riot shotgun.
good choice of punisher's voice
Red Hood and Punisher next?
In the Pariah run of War Journal, the guy who want to take him down calls his mission "romantic" in the way people want to do what he does
Might be interesting to see a debate between the Punisher and Max Payne
A conversation between Joshua and The Judge from Blood Meridian would be quite interesting. He wouldn't be a character too out of place in the setting either, all things considered.
Would you be willing to make a Batman and Ezio Auditore debate the no kill rule video?
The No Kill role is stupid. If the system cannot keep or contain the evil, then it's irresponsible to keep villains alive.
Boy I wonder how well Nightcrawler would handle talking to Frank Castle in regards to God’s love n his ways of punishing evil
This is ridiculously amazing! 😢😭🛐
Bethesda could NEVER make a Joshua Graham ever
(That’s my headcanon anyway)
“I used to be able to close my eyes and pray, but now when I close my eyes, I only see the bombs. When I open them up, I only see the destruction. I’ve tried so desperately to pray and believe, but He has abandoned us…and rightfully so.”
If you also subscribe to the idea that Male SS was a war criminal, he could feel like all of this was his divine punishment. (Adding a link between M-SS and Joshua.)
I’d love to see an interaction like this. A devout believer speaking to someone who lost their faith when he watched the bombs fall.
May I suggest Ulysses and Joshua Graham debating.
Imagine Boone and Frank
I'd imagine they'd be besties cue Hello my honey theme song as they Montague and kill raiders, fiends, legionarys and the kingpins baddies
Best one so far
This was pretty legit
What would happen if Joshua was visited by Charlie from hazbin hotel, and was asked about redemption?
at the end, Charlie becomes an angel who watches over Joshua (cue funni animated series)
He would tell her that her goal is admirable, but that she will never know better than God about redemption.
Ooof 😂
Now we need an episode of The Punisher and Geralt meeting in the Big MT
I would love to see Tony Soprano interact with Joshua
Pretty cool if we had Azrael and Joshua graham debate on religion.
so, the course of action is almost the same.
THIS HAS LORE!!!!?????
How exactly did you make this? This is nuts
You should do Joshua Graham and Ellie from The Last of Us 2 debating revenge
should be Frank or Joshua against Abby
I know it's selfish but I want to help a friend to play a character, Azrael from the DC universe. He can't seem to understand the character, and neither are we his friends, since we have no knowledge of him. But perhaps if he could watch this kind of video about him, his personality, beliefs and motivations would make him closer and more defined in what he tries to interpret. We are roleplaying as some sort of incarnations from different stories, comics or what ever you'd think of.
Do one with daredevil and Joshua debate
🌜
Feels like a therapy session 😂
Ay, Frank.
If God seems silent, it's because the teacher doesn't talk during the test.

Punisher and Anakin Skywalker dialogue ?
How about enclave debates the space marines of warhammer 40k
next, superman? the doctor?
In my opinion, I think a debate between injustice Superman with Joshua on choosing to be God and dictating who lives and who dies.
*( ͠° ͟ ͜ʖ ͡ ͠°) The Punisher being put in his place.*
"Until next time, Frank. And god be with you."
"Sometimes I'd like to get my hands on god." - Ray Stevenson's Punisher. R.I.P.
"All evil requires is for good men to do nothing"
The Punisher lost everything with his family, he has nothing left to be destroyed or lost.
Hey so been thinking ever wondered what it would be like for to have Kratos and Wonder Woman have a conversation?
Now do Venom Snake.
