They are so bad at the game that they just see it and have their npc loaded response. That was a part of the reason I quit. They whine about everything, win or lose.
Also, just complaining about NOED in general, in 2023. Like if it HAD come up? Just cleanse the totem or get out. It's a fine perk, but it's not earth shattering unless you get tilted about it.

Ive never understood the mentality of running at the killer to get a flashlight right after you get unhooked. If you hate tunneling and quick downs, why did she keep doing it?

Can't answer for the rest but I find it fun I also don't mind tunneling or proxy camping so idk I think most survivors just want killers to not be allowed to hook
Tunneling isn't a real thing. People just don't want to be downed early in a match and complain about it when it was probably their fault instead of being sneaky like you should. The amount of people just running around full tilt is hilarious when you could be a lot more sneaky to get around and do gens while your teammates are too busy running up into the killers face and then bitching and moaning when he downs them.

Yeah, that's true but not rue...Obviously the anti camp and anti tunnel measures are because of extreme cases like getting tunneled straight off hook twice, (not because you run into the killer) in a row or camped by a Leatherface where you cannot be saved. Its foolish to say the devs took these measures because some entitled people will whine even if they are the ones making mistakes...
Plus this goes both ways, its the same as if someone said:
Survivor: *does gens*
Killer: Why are you gen rushing?
Survivor: Its my only objective.
Devs: Increased gen time, gave killers shorter action speeds, reduced survivor speed boost after getting hit and give killers insanely strong regression perks that can be stacked as much as you want.

Hey, Spook. Have you ever tried a stealth build on stealth killers? I recently tried Ghostface with perks like Dragon's Grip and Trails of Torment and found the match pretty fun. Another idea I had was the Tier 2 Mirror Myers with Trails so that you can have the wall hacks and stealth without any of the Scratched Mirror downsides.

People don’t understand the real meaning of tunneling. It comes from tunnel vision, meaning you ignore everything else but that one survivor. He obviously had multiple other targets, 100% not tunneling

You're supposed to honor the survivor Rulebook and hook each person once, one after the other, then a second time, one after the other, then hold the door open for them while they escape.
I love how they play like ass but then they blame you for losing. Sometimes you have a shity game or you made bad decisions just move on to the next one. Also I love when people complain about perks just use whatever you like using and don't shame other people for using something it's what they prefer to use. Like who could complain about survivors using unbreakable when that Survivor used unbreakable there but he didn't because you're allowed to run any perks

U actually played the game as fairly as possible. My thing is to many players have distorted the meaning of tunneling to deny that they aren't as good at dbd as they think. As u said it's Eliody's fault for u downing her again after she was rescued. Survivors need to realize if killer isn't targeting u straight off hooks it's ur responsibility to avoid being seen again until ur healthy.

I'm a survivor main. Can someone explain to me the issues of 'gen rushing'. I mean... what else are we supposed to do? It's our only win condition. Sit around and wait for them to get us?
I don't think its an issue, I think its moreso that some survivors will complain about the killer doing things that makes it harder for them to win while doing the exact same thing themselves. And of course, doing gens quickly makes it harder for the killer to win.
Now of course I believe that there's salty people complaining about everything on both sides, and there's definitely a lot of killers who'll whine about about gen rushing while they're running the sweatiest builds known to man.
I guess it's just about double standards, since its easier to ignore them when it's between two sides with different goals and mechanics.

Honestly i just get pissed off and write a semi angry message when I’m playing killer. The only time I do is when I’m constantly just getting gen rushed and looped for eternity or at least until all gens are done
Tunneling is so overused. That was not tunneling. Tunneling is when you focus on one person. I've been tunneled. The killer I was playing against admitted to tunneling me because he was going for a clown mori challenge thing he was doing. He picked me out and went for me the whole match until I got moried. Sweetest person in the world and we are friends because I said gg to him after and was nice. How you play in game does not dictate who you are IRL. It's like if a killer looks at you after getting unhooked it is considered tunneling now. And this is coming from a survivor main. It's ridiculous. Even in this scenario dude ran into you. What exactly are you supposed to do? Leave him alone to reset? No you are going to go after the injured survivor who just ran into you. Also I love how people complain about noed. You didn't even get to use it. And noed is easier to cleanse now because it lights up when it's active. I don't get mad at noed because it is a perk in the game that is available for use. So people are allowed to use it. Don't be mad over a perk being used. Also they are calling you trash but they lost to you and they are salty so what doesn't that make them?

@@shannonxpennywise it is a literal shame that the only confirmed dev from BHVR that actually plays is a survivor main… as a killer, I genuinely don’t have fun in the close to higher MMR lobbies. I managed to stop my growth so I could stay in mid-to-low tier lobbies and just play casually.
SBMM really is rough on this game considering it was supposed to be an imbalanced party game. But pubs are just… god. And the fact killers can’t press survivors unless they are actually really good and have great game sense leaves newer players at a super bad disadvantage if they’re decent at the game. You could break the hard cap medium MMR and be stuck in ELO hell for the rest of your life. With the only shining star being another team of unfortunate decent people that are just that little less knowledgeable than you.

The elide is referring to soft tunneling where the killer 2 same survivors like Dwight and meg and back to Dwight again that soft tunneling
"Soft tunnelling" ??? Never heard such BS in my life. Tunnelling one player directly off hook sucks and is understandably frowned upon, and that is as far as tunnelling goes. In this case the Elodie player still stuck around to try and get a flashlight save despite being injured, and that made it open season. If Survivors don't want to get tunnelled, soft tunnelled, head, shoulders, knees and toes tunnelled, or whatever you want to call it, then just go away and heal up or jump on a gen across the map. I play both Killer and Survivor, and just so you know: If you use base BT to body block; you're fair game. If you use FtP+BU in the Killer's face; you're fair game. If you use Breakout while injured; you're fair game. And if you try to flashlight save, sabo or unhook while injured... You guessed it.
That elodie made a mistake and was punished for it.

I got this game 5 days ago and been playing killer main and im red rank 2. When I tell you not all survivors are made the same. Some games I get people who play well and kick my ass then I get games where I get my first down, all 3 of the others run to me ans get hit then try to pull off hook as soon as I hook the original down just to have 2 people laying on the ground lol.

You did hook someone else after hooking them, but they were still hooked for that entire time and you were mid grab animation by the time they got unhooked. Then you hit a couple people and went right back for the Elodie. So while you did do some stuff in the interim, most of the non-tunneling action happened whilst they were still hooked. So I can understand why they would feel that way. They were on hook, got unhooked while you were actively carrying someone and going to hook them, then went back for them and hooked them again. You didn't commit to the injured Feng and didn't commit to chasing the Leon. Similar thing happened after you hooked the Elodie, but with the Mikaela.
I'm not saying you shouldn't have done what you did and I'm not saying you should have committed to those other chases. But as far as it looked to them, you just ping pong'd directly between Elodie and Mikaela and were only actively doing other things while they were still hooked. But almost immediately upon getting uhooked, you were back on them. You played it well and acted effectively to dispatch them. If they had said you were camping, that would be another thing. But I can completely understand why they would complain about tunneling. They should not have engaged you in the way that they did. I don't condone that at all.

i cant take people serious anymore who say i tunnel them cause its so often clear that they take this just as an excuse cause they mad after they died.
Sadly i have seen that idiot before when in solo que. I was on survivor side so i had to team up with them and they were absolutely horrible. Cant loop, makes bad calls when getting chased, and even will bring killer to survivor that has been hooked while they hide and no hook stage. Then goes all rage mode if called out or shown how stupid they were in the match. Then i faced them later that day and i had gotten claimed for tunnel and cheats for using all seeing wraith cause i felt like being in a match as that god awful wraith build and i chose to take them to hatch and give it to them only for them to still keep crying like a child.

No, but a lot of people see it as "toxic", and because of that there's in-game measures to make it less viable in some cases (but of course its not a bannable offense or anything).
But realistically it shouldn't matter and I don't think it should be something to worry about.
The survivors have a rulebook that they can change at any time. If you do anything they don't like, you're toxic to them

@@diondativa Essentially tunnelling is both bad form, and it's not fun for anyone, really. (Depending on where you get your fun from.) Like, some people will just stare at a surv on hook and that is somehow "fun" to them? If the fun is just making sure someone's time is ruined, then go for it. Those tactics tend not to work the better you get at the game. The more coordinated a team, the less likely you'll be able to tunnel effectively. Let alone if you run into a SWF.
For survivors - especially if the survivor is simply not that good at looping, etc. The surv in question doesn't get a good game, and generally if a game goes too quickly / the survs die too fast, the killer won't depip, but they won't get a pip / enough points either.
