    Remember the unwritten rule:
A player can roll Performance to Aid with any checks related to resurrecting a dead creature, so long as they're performing Bring Me To Life.

An honorable mention under this topic might be the 5th level Divine spell Breath of Life which prevents a creature from dying at the moment of its death. It's a react and the character doesn't technically die but comes as close as you can get to death.

also you can restore a high level character with a Elixir of Rejuvenation (if he is dead for no more than a week) and with Ultimate Mercy (if die last round)

My players haven't faced this yet, but I'm making a resurrection ritual that is less expensive, but puts them on a spiritual journey to locate fragments of the soul and unite them.

I have always used Raise Dead / Resurrection and similar spells as a time to re-evaluate the character and allow the player to make changes at that time. Such as respec'ing from a Barbarian to a Fighter because they are now a calmer fighter, or transition from Fighter to Paladin, etc.

I like the character elements of life and death and rebirth. I do think that resurrection needs to carry weight though. it is an excellent oppurtunity for the party to quest into the afterlife and recover their allies spirit. of course I'd let the player with the dead PC play as a seconary character that joins them for a time. One of my personal favorite characters was the adopted daughter of another character that died and grew up to be a paladin whose motivation was bringing back her (idiolized) "heroic" father.

I like the idea of a lasting consequence for returning from death. Don't look at these rules much because I'm a pretty safe player, but it's useful to know them.

My bard just recently got turned to a pile of dust and soul trapped by a demi lich. Seems that requires either or the 10th level spells Wish or Miracle. I suppose I could possibly become a ghost.

Can you explain how the long jump and leap actions interact with the powerful leap feat? Does powerful leap even affect long jump? If it does, would powerful leap increase the athletics DC?

Powerful Leap has no effect on long jump at all. It simply modifies how the Leap action works.

I have a big ol' question that's bugging me in my game, my DM and I already made a ruling, but who knows.. So, when you pick the Wizard Archetype you now choose an arcane school right off the bat, but you get nothing from it. The question is... When you pick Arcane School Spell, you get a Focus point and the school spell, just no spell like you'd get with the Wizard class upon picking the arcane school... Now the question is... What of Universalist..?! Does that feat just do nothing because Universalist gets no school spell? Does it give Drain Bonded Item and a level one Wizard feat because that's everything but learning a spell as with the other cases? Just Drain Bonded Item instead? We just pretend it doesn't exist? How does Drain Bonded Item work anyways?

Love the videos! And am excited to try some of these techniques for future PC deaths.
One minor personal gripe - Especially, there is no x, k, or c at the beginning, bugs me slightly whenever I hear it pronounced exspecially. 😅
