Devin, trained on the collective mistakes of two generations of stackoverflow users. Imagine if the control systems on the Nuclear Submarine Parked 100km off shore were written by Devin. Or more likely an ecomm website. Imagine what happens when Devin has a transitory hallucination, my clients celebrate negative prices and I go broke in minutes.
The best use case is Devin creating the code that is usde as examples for teaching debugging.

Here's something Scott won't mention in this talk: For weeks, their company has been dodging questions from a nonprofit pointing out that they have seemingly put ~0 effort into AI safety :/

If software becomes far cheaper and easier to create with tools like this then there will be a explosion of saas companies offering more niche products which may have never been possible previously due to a lack of expertise of the founder, or just lack of market value by the measure we currently are used to when estimating a ROI.

This was a long advertisement. The man is on a pedestal sharing his vision of the future without having proven anything.
Release it to the public, undergo social critique, then tell us about your vision for SWE.

It's basically treason to your community, the people who unintentionally made this thing possible via their commits to github. Just shameful. I can't even look at his face.
