Actually you'll probably see more people in Trigun cosplay this year than the last half a decade because of Trigun Stampede! I'm most likely going to go as Vash for Anime Expo this year so yeah :)
I recently watched the Trigun animes and loved it so much that I literally bought a Stampede Vash cosplay yesterday, it will be my first cosplay ever so I'm very excited!
the lack of captions is driving me mad! Here’s the lyrics to the best of my ability to hear them, the actual lyrics from the scrubs song this parodies, and another video of these performers. Gosh, thank you so much! English is not my native language, so it was quite hard for me to understand the song XD Yep, absolutely agree with you about abnormaly loud cheers, but on other versions of that performance, screams are way more quieter (Sorry if there are any mistakes, I'm still learning but right now I'm too lazy to use the translator (• ▽ •;)
After some queer people pointed out to me how often popular media makes straight couples out of people who have no chemistry, or how often the only named female character ends up with the main male character, it makes more sense to me. LGBT+ representation is comparably nonexistent, so people take what they can get. (USUALLY fans don't take their LGBT+ headcanons so seriously that they believe it was the writers' intentions and that everyone HAS to agree with them, so you don't have to take the gay interpretations so seriously. You can ignore it / figuratively walk past if it's not your thing.) But yeah, in this particular video, it seemed like they were lightheartedly making fun of fandom's tendency to interpret friendships as gay, not saying Vash and Wolfwood are gay for each other.
@@10karamel37 @alanaflynn8878 I can tell that it's a joke.... My question is: why, why go there? it's such a respectable friendship, Vash and Wolfwood are like brothers so when you take it to a sexual relationship, it's just comes across as odd......No, behind some "Jokes", there's some seriousness. I know this because they wouldn't make this such a joke about Vash and knives...... actually.....let me stop before I come across something stupid.
@@shamaYahu8635people are just having fun. making jokes about characters being gay isn't "corrupting" their friendship. you can still love their friendship and make jokes like that, or ship them. (ppl who r in love can still be friends). people are just making silly headcanons for fun, that isn't "corrupting" the characters
I bet you my arm and leg that you haven't read the manga that has the true story at all, and if then very very POORLY. Vash and Wolfwood love each other on a deeper level and it's up to the reader to choose how they want to interpret it, whether it's platonic or romantic, but lemme just say that Vash saying "It was then that I knew deep down he had become very close to me. That's why, after everything's been said and done, I wanted to spend my tomorrows with him." definitely isn't meant in a frickin' brotherly way, it screams queer (And it's also the only time where Vash, a man who doesn't want to live anymore, who is set on dying in his battle with Knives, finally talks about his future, he finally wants to live. All thanks to Wolfwood. He actually is able to imagine himself living for himself because he found someone who understands him, who cares for him and someone who puts everything he has ever protected down on the line for him), nor is the fact that when Wolfwood died he choose to spend his last moments with Vash, bell of the orphanage ringing in the background, bottle of alcohol named BRIDE, and confetti falling from the sky... Making his death a sort of a symbolic wedding. LIKE GEEZ, Vash KILLED for Wolfwood. He KILLED. This man who has been trying to save everyone this whole time, who held onto his morals and ideals so tightly to protect his mother's legacy, ended up killing a man because, and I quote: "I couldn't bear your sacrifice be in vain.". So yeah, take time to think about that, and this is only a few points to them and their bond. Basically what I mean is, the subtext is there, it is there and it's canon, it all depends on interpretation of the reader because it isn't spelled out for us. Anyone's interpretation isn't corrupting YOUR vision of the characters. There is so much more to their relationship than you obviously comprehended so don't go around being rude when you don't even have all your facts straight.
"I'm not talking to you anymore..." *hangs head dramatically*
So Wolfwood XD
Wish I could see poeple cosplay Trigun Characters in 2023

I like the cosplay but why do people always have to turn a respectable friendship into something gay...?😕
It's like anything pure must be corrupted.
Dont Worry , Well they were joking about it.
