*IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE!* : Speaking from personal experience: No, sometimes water is not enough. Some people may sweat more down there or have imbalances caused by other factors that may need a little extra wash. I've personally suffered from chronic infections for YEARS. I got myself checked so many times and went through so many different medications and nothing would work for a long period of time. All of them were just temporary solutions. I would watch many videos at that time stating that washes didn't work or that they made matters worse so I didn't ever try getting one, I sticked to washing with water only. I followed every other step from healthy diet, to cotton underwear and drinking too much water but nothing helped. I was fed up with the chronic infections and my pharmacist recommended I use a feminine wash that would balance my pH. I was very sceptical at first but guess what? It worked. Effortlessly. I was actually so mad a myself for not giving it a try sooner. It would have saved me from a lot of discomfort! I had friends who struggled with this issue too and went through the same patterns as me. Absolutely no hate to the girl in this video as everything she's saying its very helpful but it's important to do your own research and check what works best for you since all bodies work differently :)
@@MsLoverPower glad you mentioned this. no i did not put it internally. feminine washes should be only used for external cleansing as far as i know. however, there were certain medications i’ve been on that required inserting creams, but like i said those were only temporarily useful. definitely consult with a professional about any product before use.
@@vivalachoba no you don't need to put soap on your genitals as a woman. That will throw off your balance and can irritate you. It happened to me. Just water and your hands is enough to clean, the vagina itself is a self cleaning organ. Friction from your hands is enough for the delicate inside/minora. The majora is the closest you should get soap on, and even then if you're sensitive that can mess with your skin.
I ONLY use them if I’m swimming. But as long as there’s a string I don’t understand how ppl are putting 2 in😂 like the string hanging out is a reminder….
Nah fr. If a pad makes me itchy when there was a lot of friction on my regular, non-genital skin, WHY IN THE FUCK WOULD I RISK FEELING THAT ON THE INSIDE? And miss me with the casually shoving things inside you when you're unaroused? Inhumane & disgusting, IMO.
something about me is very leak-prone so i always double up with a tampon and a pad but i’m also so paranoid so i set alarms every time i use one and thankfully i’ve never forgotten 😭
⚠️⚠️⚠️you can also clean "it" with baby wipes, after you use the bathroom you can use a baby wipe but don't flush them even if it claims to be flushable. Hope this helps 👍
The tampon one is soooo important! My mom saw this girl on instagram the other day that lost both her legs bc of an infection caused by a tampon that she just left in there. Be careful!
I did it once and I was SCARRED 😭 I took my tampon out and felt ANOTHER STRING and took out ANOTHER TAMPON!!! It was disgusting but thank god it came out before I got sick or something!
no literally once i accidentally had two in then another time i forgot i put a tampon in on the last day of my period and accidentally left it in for three days before noticing💀
FYI, if you are someone who is prone to bacterial/fungal overgrowth/dandruff in your intimate zone it is okay to use a gentle fragrance free wash on your external bits & bobs if washing with water alone doesn't work for you. For some people doing a soap cleanse once or twice a week (or even daily) is necessary for them to maintain appropriate health down there! This advice goes for everyone.
Let’s be for real here guys. It’s just not that hard to avoid your cooch when you’re wiping. It probably is for a kindergartner but we’re not five year olds lmao
I mean we’re talking about an area that you can neither see nor touch and bacteria spreads, if you wipe back to front you have no control over what bacteria ends up where. Front to back is the only cleanly way to do it.
im still confused which way is back and front bc of the way u guys are wording it, maybe i have it flipped 😭 (OHH I MISREAD THE ESSENTIAL WORD: “to” omfg the amount of questions in tests i got wrong because of this 😔)
YES! If you don't want a yeast infection (which I've had, it HURTS-), LISTEN TO HER. Do not use soap, wash with just water, drink water. Trust me. I never listened to this, and i got a yeast infection when I was 14. Just imagine waking up one day and that place burns and hurts like hell. Take care of yourself yall
i’ve had constant yeast infections since i was 3, and doctors still haven’t even fixed it since it keeps coming back 😭 can confirm it sucks- (although to clarify it was not from poor hygiene that I got mine, it was because of my weak immune system, but poor hygiene can definitely cause them)
The thing about soap in your vagina is a valid point , IM SAYING the vulva and the inside is two different things I hear a lot of woman say use just water but you can use a unscented soap if you don’t feel comfortable I use a all natural soap for the outer parts which you can put there but it’s all about how your vag reacts .
my mother use to DRILL that into my brain when I was little lol like i’d get up to go to the bathroom and she’d yell “FRONT TO BACK” as I was walking up the steps 💀
Ong I remember our male teacher in An all girls primary school telling us about this in grade 6 hands down the worst second had embarrassment I’ve ever gotten 😭😭
FYI ABOUT TAMPONS! You shouldn't change them too often because that can really cause Toxic Shock. Also you need to be usi g the right size tampon for your flow. So you dont want to be overusing a super tampon on light days or using tampons when ur not flowing. Basically If ur changing a tampon too often or when ur not flowing and the vagina is dry.. it can cause micro tears inside the vagina which actually causes toxicity from the tampon chemicals leaching into ur body through those tears. Personally I use a menstrual cup, best decision Ive ever made, no bulky diaper pads and no worries about TSS and its better for the environment and cost effective.
I’ve tried so hard with cups but I never get it right no matter what position I choose when putting it in 😩 I hate the feeling of pads and am tired of tampons, so the cup is my last resort 😂
Can confirm in first grade I got the worst uti and bladder infection (which then spread to my kidneys❤) because I was wiping back to front. Don’t do it girlie

Maybe it’s just me but I have a hard time realizing how to wipe front to back. Like do I reach behind me all the way to the front stretching my arm like slender man or do it start from the front and just push back
Please stop. If you ever get poo bacteria in your vagina (never do anal then vaginal either) you can get a horrible infection that can KILL YOU if not treated. Please just don’t risk it
I work as a care aide and for our skills test in school our teacher would instantly fail anyone who wiped back to front, the men had to be real careful lol
geez.. the front to back advice is for the general direction of wiping everything!! I'm pretty sure everyone wipes each part separately when doing a number 2 but you should always do it front to back no matter where you wipe.
Same, who on earth would go butthole to front wtf? I start right where the perineum starts (Vag side) and go up, and for poo right after perineum ends and then butthole down
As someone that lives with chronic infection since birth, Wipe front first then back & if you need to rinse to make sure it’s clean. The basic vagisel ph 1 drop in a mini bottle with water & squirted pour on the area, dry pat & vagisel or monostadt cream to prevent infection if it so much as feels like you have an itch. Never wait till your next trip to the toilet to put the cream on or you regret it. That habit saved me a year & a half to 2 years between major UTI infection & weeks worth of antibiotics.
I literally can't do it front to back. It hurts and does not wipe anything at all. I don't know what weird anatomy y'all have. I always start from after my perineum. That's all I can do. My mom and sister get infections, but I never have. Guess my body is just strong or something.
@@Kirakiwi21 huh??? i’m saying i dab my cooch with toilet paper instead of wiping from either side to the other. i wasn’t referring to how i clean my buttcrack which is what i’m assuming you thought lol

As a mom, thank you for using relatable content to put out important messages to young girls who may not be growing up in an environment where they’d get this information otherwise.
Gross trigger warning: Middle School me forgot about having a tampon in and put another in. Middle School me was being *curious* as young preteens are and luckily ended up finding the original tampon. I know it was there for months because the way it looked when it came out.... Thank god I found it and got it out cause who knows what could've happened...
Omg! You’re so brave! I’m literally terrified of tampons lmao! Wish me luck on trying to wear them now! Also questions… if I’m only fourteen, is there a certain age I should wait to wear them? Or can everyone wear them? Like I don’t want to get them stuck or something! That’s scary!! Lol!
Lol. Love the PSA. I’m super fortunate that my momma and grand momma taught me to wipe properly… hard for me to wrap my head around having a teacher tell a group of my former 6th grade class and I how to do that..
This is on their parents for neglecting to teach them basic hygiene. Not on them for not knowing. Honestly makes me sad. Thanks for shamelessly sharing the knowledge to people who never got that knowledge at home or in school. It’s important.
We need this kind of girl talk for real Also.... I had my FIRST uti a few months ago, and let me tell you, do not be ashamed of it because it happens to a lot of us. I believe it said something like more than 60% of women will get a uti at least once in their lifetime. And there is absolutly no rhyme or reason for it, sometimes it just happens. But yes, wipe front to back NEVER back to front, water is extreamly helpfull obvi. Cranberries or any type of antioxidents will help in promoting healthy vaginal health. Most importantly, keeping yourself clean down there will totally help. But like she was saying, do not use any of that PH crap. Also, be carefull with bath bombs. Because when you use them, the purfumes get all over you and can obviously get into you down there, and can cause a lot of discomfort. ( my neice used a bath bomb and it reaaallly affected her down there.) So if you use one in the bath, shower it all off after words. Isn't being a girl\women super fun ladies❤
I wipe separately. I'm not comfortable doing it useing the same piece of toilet paper. It's better that way and the washing down there after doing you business and wiping is just *chef's kiss*.
If you wanna really get clean and "wash it" get you a shower head with a wand attached. My husband had me put one in the Amazon cart and bought it and you can get a really good one for like $30-40 on Amazon. We got it a couple months ago, I'm currently almost 3 weeks postpartum and still can't wipe with toilet paper, I have to use a bottle to spray myself after every pee, but I use my wand head in the shower and I just feel so fresh and clean when I use that thing. I also have external hemorrhoids that I use it on to really get in between all the crevices. One of our best purchases so far this year

But you didn't put it inside, did you?? I think that was what she was talking about. Some women have mad ideas that hoohah needs cleaning from inside.
You're actually supposed to wash the outside with soap. She meant you shouldn't put anything in the hole.
You’re supposed to wash your labia. I hope everyone is… Jfc. She just meant no soap inside your vagina.
The tampon one is why I use pads instead 💀
RIGHT LIKE I'D TOTALLY FORGET ABOUT IT LIKE THE GIRL IN THE VID 💀💀
Same!! So many other girls have gotten mad at me for not using tampons for this reason. I don't know why
I never grew up with a mother or any other females to tell me this shit. Thank you for doing this.
It was common sense for me
⚠️⚠️⚠️you can also clean "it" with baby wipes, after you use the bathroom you can use a baby wipe but don't flush them even if it claims to be flushable. Hope this helps 👍
The tampon one is soooo important! My mom saw this girl on instagram the other day that lost both her legs bc of an infection caused by a tampon that she just left in there. Be careful!
Omg 😳
the tampon thing is actually kinda true. i’ve done that before but on accident😭
I did it once and I was SCARRED 😭 I took my tampon out and felt ANOTHER STRING and took out ANOTHER TAMPON!!! It was disgusting but thank god it came out before I got sick or something!
Same idk how I forgot I had one up there but when I pulled out 2 I was so scared that I got tss😭
I'm glad it wasn't just me 😭
@@sophia_lilacheavenbby THIS IS ME. I swear i forgot and then i pulled out two tampons
no literally once i accidentally had two in then another time i forgot i put a tampon in on the last day of my period and accidentally left it in for three days before noticing💀
i actually love your energy
Oh, wow, is it REAL o'clock already? ok...
"if it's making you cry and THROW UP", that one got me. HARD. You good, girl.
Okay I didn't think I was doing that but I got scared I just think I'm too good lmao
Yes, but bacteria can still spread. It is just better to wipe front to back because it helps you avoid giving yourself a UTI.
I mean we’re talking about an area that you can neither see nor touch and bacteria spreads, if you wipe back to front you have no control over what bacteria ends up where. Front to back is the only cleanly way to do it.
im still confused which way is back and front bc of the way u guys are wording it, maybe i have it flipped 😭 (OHH I MISREAD THE ESSENTIAL WORD: “to” omfg the amount of questions in tests i got wrong because of this 😔)
I wipe from the front when I pee and wipe from the back for #2.
i fking 👏🏻👏🏻NEEDED👏🏻👏🏻 that last one
Take care of yourself yall
i’ve had constant yeast infections since i was 3, and doctors still haven’t even fixed it since it keeps coming back 😭 can confirm it sucks- (although to clarify it was not from poor hygiene that I got mine, it was because of my weak immune system, but poor hygiene can definitely cause them)
Excusing female specific advice, I find as a bisexual guy, a lot of her dating advice is actually very helpful for me as well.
I lowkey need a girl like you in my life
The thing about soap in your vagina is a valid point , IM SAYING the vulva and the inside is two different things I hear a lot of woman say use just water but you can use a unscented soap if you don’t feel comfortable I use a all natural soap for the outer parts which you can put there but it’s all about how your vag reacts .
THANK YOUUU!!! Bitches don’t know the difference in their own parts 😭 you can also exfoliate and moisturize down there which I highly recommend
@@vudumi oh girl I already do 😭 gotta keep her smooth and gotta have that moisture 😂
@@imanihogans6988 YESSSS I love to hear that self care, it’s VERY slept on
my mother use to DRILL that into my brain when I was little lol
like i’d get up to go to the bathroom and she’d yell “FRONT TO BACK” as I was walking up the steps 💀
"are you okay?" that had me dying on the floor😅
I remember a girl I worked with put hand-sanitizer up there, during work and in public. She had to be sent home.
Life advice thank you ❤❤❤❤
Ong I remember our male teacher in An all girls primary school telling us about this in grade 6 hands down the worst second had embarrassment I’ve ever gotten 😭😭
As a guy, this is essential information
Thanks to the Internet I can learn these things because I wasn’t taught this shit and I didn’t have a mom to help me with it either.
Switched from tampons to a menstrual cup sevenyears ago and I wil NEVER go back. Lifechanger, moneysaver...
"You shouldn't change them too often", you should definitely change them often, what are you on about? 4h is maximum you can have a tampon in.
Schools need to show this kind of information to young girls. Hell, send it to your grown up friends who are still doing dumb things 😅
Can confirm in first grade I got the worst uti and bladder infection (which then spread to my kidneys❤) because I was wiping back to front. Don’t do it girlie
I like the ph soaps.... for my face lol. Like the foaming ones, they have the same ingredients as the ones meant for your face but they're really good for sensitive skin and they're not really scented either.
omg yes finally somebody is talking about this, literally i used to wash my ... with soap, holy fuck it felt like hell in my ... it only needs water 🤦♀️
MY MOM DID THAT EXACT SAME TAMPON THING😭 she used it as a lesson to me to not leave them in for that long💀
Thanks for the tips girl!!! ❤️
I'VE BEEN DOING ALL THESE THINGS 😭😭 TY SAHAR
Lol I needed this two weeks ago. I’ve wiped back to front my 24 years of life and finally got an infection from it 😅
the pH thing is sooo true! Our body does that for us alreadyyyyy
I do one place at a time when I wipe (we don’t wipe, we don’t even go to the toilet, we only enter the bathroom to get ourselves ready /j)
Yeah same. Like it's separate for each wipe
"she forgot she had one in and shoved a second one" 😭💀 sorry but it sounds way funnier than it has to
i've been wipping back to front my whole life...
Please just don’t risk it
This is a kind, public service that you do❤ AND it's funny😂❤love you!!!
Honestly I'm happy to be a girl cause girl's talk are the best
I work as a care aide and for our skills test in school our teacher would instantly fail anyone who wiped back to front, the men had to be real careful lol
I needed that last one. yesterday IN SCHOOL i was sobbing over this guy. already losing feelings because he never asked if I was okay after
hope youre alr
Gurl some boys do not deserve the time of day you keep your head up high anf kick that boy to the curve.
More of these girl talks plsssss
"Kidding girls don't poo" 😂
I really need more of these , i don't have an older sis 😭💓
geez.. the front to back advice is for the general direction of wiping everything!! I'm pretty sure everyone wipes each part separately when doing a number 2 but you should always do it front to back no matter where you wipe.
this is funny becas i didnt see part one
Same lol
there's part 1: ruclips.net/user/shortsm0ke_DVpfJk?feature=share
Why tf do people use the same piece of toilet paper for front AND back anyway 😭
Exactly, two different pieces.
Exactly
Lmao what??? If you're wiping front to back like you should then why be wasteful for no reason
@@floridflesh it feels gross to use the same one
@@MysticOceanDollies ur literally wiping feces off your butt, how does a little pee make it grosser lmaooo
I wipe halfway to front and hallway to back
Same, who on earth would go butthole to front wtf? I start right where the perineum starts (Vag side) and go up, and for poo right after perineum ends and then butthole down
Same it’s too hard to reach around and do the whole front to back
I thought everyone did it like this 😭
@@rine4194 no there are really some girls who wipe fully front to back and idk, I’m just not flexible enough for that lol
@@blackcatprincess lmao I tried it. I got a cramp
The concerned “ R U OK?” Sent me😂
As someone that lives with chronic infection since birth, Wipe front first then back & if you need to rinse to make sure it’s clean.
Guess my body is just strong or something.
i can’t do front to back either, i just dab, i’d say that’s good alternative
@@yawning3451 dude just use water. That’s disgusting
@@Kirakiwi21 huh??? i’m saying i dab my cooch with toilet paper instead of wiping from either side to the other. i wasn’t referring to how i clean my buttcrack which is what i’m assuming you thought lol
The first time I saw my daughter wipe back to front I was mortified I instantly taught her front-to-back and exactly how to do it in a comfortable way and why she shouldn't wipe back to front and after I told her why she was so grossed out she never did it again thank goodness😂
bein an indian we wash💀💀
Bruh i thought i was supposed to *wash* it from the front to the back until i saw your comment, forgetting she's a gori mam
They way she covered so many topics and I'm struggling in some 😭
As a mom, thank you for using relatable content to put out important messages to young girls who may not be growing up in an environment where they’d get this information otherwise.
Gross trigger warning:
Middle School me forgot about having a tampon in and put another in. Middle School me was being *curious* as young preteens are and luckily ended up finding the original tampon. I know it was there for months because the way it looked when it came out.... Thank god I found it and got it out cause who knows what could've happened...
omg i did something like that
@@ivyfrye omg thank you for making sure I didn't feel alone 😭 girl I was disgusted when I saw that tampon
no fr i had no idea i had one in like i totally forgot after i went swimming😭😭😭 it was there for at least 4 days😭
Lol!
@@Justagirl95 I don’t think there is a “right age,” just start whenever you feel comfortable-or don’t, that choice is completely up to you 🙃
Yes girls please was your parts with just water I've personally seen a difference after not using soap or other products
“Are you ok?” I’m dying
I didn’t know my bidet and wiping both separately and in different directions made me elite. Damn.
OMG THIS MEANS A LOT TO ME BECAUSE SOME I DID NOT KNOW AND NOW IT WILL HELP ME 😭🙏 TY
Lol. Love the PSA. I’m super fortunate that my momma and grand momma taught me to wipe properly… hard for me to wrap my head around having a teacher tell a group of my former 6th grade class and I how to do that..
She's chill. I like her.
That's why you use water like us South Asians
And just Muslims in general
That’s why I use a bidet or just water… much much cleaner and it feels refreshing down there
This is on their parents for neglecting to teach them basic hygiene. Not on them for not knowing. Honestly makes me sad. Thanks for shamelessly sharing the knowledge to people who never got that knowledge at home or in school. It’s important.
We need this kind of girl talk for real
Also....
Me, who uses 2 different pieces of toliet paper: 🧍♀️
I dont even use the same tissue to wipe both areas. Doing one swoop (even if its front to back) gives me anxiety
The last one hit different
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ADDRESSING THIS FOR UNEDUCATED WEIRDOS
Oh how I love these girl talks
As the saying goes “front to back and up the crack” 😂
One of our best purchases so far this year
This is why we use a bidet before wiping. Keeps it clean
Tysm sahar, ive been having problem with this sm 😅
i try to break the habit of wiping back to front, but man it just feels weird
Yes to all of this except not using soap on lady bits. Yes soap doesn't go innnnn there but all around and up and down is a must lol
I've always wiped back to front, but not on it. Like wiping but stopping before I reach it
;; your ph balances itself. There’s no need to be doing anything extra down there. Stay hydrated and eat healthy and you will be perfectly fine. I remember the whole eating pineapple thing going around in hs xDD lmao
I had never ever even heard the phrase front to back or vice versa until a few years ago
