And we've pretty much had our fun with 1x64 now, don't think I'll be posting more in the foreseeable future. Feel free to suggest stuff in the comments.

At 1:09, you mention that "so many spawn that they don't know what to do." Funnily enough, that's exactly true! There's a hard aggro cap such that only 20 bugs can be aggroed on one player at any given time. It's the reason why you can be surrounded by a swarm of bugs and only be bitten a couple times. If you want to crank it up to 11, check out the Mission Content Randomizer mod's Death Mode! It removes that cap entirely, so every single one of the bugs will aggro. Would recommend, it makes Hazard 5 feel like Hazard 6. Hazard 1x64 would be crazy with it.
Bring RJ250 with max radius and fire mod next time. 1 shot and you can kill an entire swarm since the fire spread. You also get +20 shots instead of just 5.

@@Rileykard RJ is my normal go to on the PGL, its so much fun. Fatboy as a treat just because its fun once in a while even though its outclassed.

C4 and Fatboy would probably still solve the issue, but that would be funny
you might say that no one asked for more 1x64, but i did want more. because i have stockholm syndrome from being forced to play 1x64 after me and a friend watched the first video. still stronger than any us marine for the pain of doing it again
also thank u for the funnies. we now also spend 10 extra minutes every map that has both mushrooms + compressed gold just to have "Mushroom! We're Rich!" embedded itself into our skulls (outside of pissing off mission control as always).

Nari here, 1x64 is unlikely, at least not without a long gap. By the end of it we just kinda got used to its nonsense and stopped caring as much and just started playing the game normally (with some mild added annoyance). It didn’t make for great footage and we don’t want to not have fun milking the successful thing dry.
That bit at 5:20 was great. It really do be purple sometimes.
Imagine swarmageddon, mactera swarm or cave leech cluster
Is Fat boy ammo deficient? Yes. Is it effective for swarms? kind of. Will it get at least one person downed? Yes
But by god is it fun
We didn’t ask for it because we knew we were going to get it
The exploder infestation looked like a type of fireworks 😂
So if platforms are failing to be generated it means one of two things a lot of terrain is being created or destroyed, the exploders constantly exploding probably caused that. (From someone that has played way too much viewer spawns)

A different video had a swarmer tunnel hit by a fatboy nuke and it just looked like a waterfall from the ridiculous amount of swarmers spawning and then instantly dying again.
Definitely want more of this!

they mentioned it, but unfortunately dred spawns are unaffected, and since dred spawns suppress regular spawns, it would just be them trying to kill a dred with weapons designed for horde clear

there's a touch of leftover footage in which there is just a cloud of shredders, you might see it someday or you might have to see it for yourself ;)

unlikely to be more haz1x64, we've kinda gotten used to it. I had to cut a massive amount of footage out of this video because it was just us quietly killing thousands of bugs (that last mission being the biggest example)

You may or may not remember on your original 1x64 video I made a comment about attempting a 6x2 true solo. I just wanted you to know that I actually managed it… 7 times! 6x2 is actually pretty fun if you learn what to do and what builds and team comp to bring. Definitely not for everyone though.
6x2 is something I have dabbled in and enjoy, I just enjoy playing with my friends more. Congratz!

There’s a spawn cap. On something like swarmageddon there’d just be so many bugs spawning that they wouldn’t be able to do anything. If you hit the spawn cap, the oldest bugs just blip out of existence.

Question, can the shard diffractor with the increasing AOE overclock and the restocking ammo on kill techically stay active forever?
as far as I know it has a 0.25second cooldown on the ammo refund, so probably not given how fast all the bugs die. However it does sound like a fun option to run in 1x64.

Is it possible to do 1x64 with oops all bulk, or will that crash the game?
As far as im aware they are both different modes of the same mod, so you can cant do both simultaneously. Also bulks dont normally spawn in haz 1, so there would be no scaling to haz 1.
Although yes, im pretty sure that would at least make the game unplayable. Both because of lag and because youd just immediatly die.

It was funny.
Edit: also due to the lingering damage and the sheer number of bugs, the ammo economy shot up dramatically.
Its defo the game mode for funny rather than practical

@@AtomicAlchemist i got confused to the weapon he was talking about seeing as the entire video is about fat boys.
The loki in every clip it appears in is using Explosive Chemical Rounds which is comically effective if you get the boom. The only real problem with it was getting 3 locks on the same bug.
