You're one of my favorite RUclipsrs and I love this video! I probably have as much L3 as you do. One way I keep track of all my wax is to keep a list/spreadsheet of what I have. So, when I do order, I don't order dups unless I want to.
Joanne WOW you really made my day!!!!! Thank You So Much 💞 I don't keep spread sheets I know a lot of us do. I think pulling all my wax by vendor out and double bagging has absolutely given me a clear pix of what I have and lately what I do is when I see an RTS or Pre-Order coming I go to that vendor(s) draw(s) and look through prior to ordering and 8x out of 10 doing that gets the urge to order anymore out of my head.. I want to share with you that my friend Jen who has been in the wax world since the beginning told me last night to stop ordering vanilla based wax as they lose the scent the fastest so I am pulling those to warm she said to use up by alternating warmers with a scent I want like a bakery and use vanilla in alternating but use them before they have no scent left. with that said I love vanilla but I am not ordering anymore until I use up what I have and as I am double bagging she is right as all my vanilla based ones are losing scent. I eventually organized my wax by scent category. Originally, I tried to do it by vendor. I got overwhelmed 😬 Having my wax separated by scent categories is so helpful! Loved seeing your L3 stash😍 can’t wait to see more of your collection. Thank you for sharing💕

I started double bagging EVERYTHING a few months ago and I swear by it. It definitely makes a big difference. The easiest way is to double bag right when you get them. I am definitely going on a no buy soon bc I am out of control myself! I have a ton coming still :(
These videos are helpful because it lets us know that melting the wax is important before it loses the scent and it is dependent on company right because sometimes you have to let things cure right….it is complicated lol
Yes I learned in past year the vendors who’s wax has great shelf life, good shelf and not , if I can share my experiences with you and help to save money it’s worth it 💜 🤗
Thank you for being so transparent. I have only purchased a few items from L3 and Sassy Girl and the Bathing Garden, (because of your recommendations), I love my bakery scents. I made a vow to myself that I need to work on what I have to last a month before I will purchase more vendor wax. Plus, I’m a Scentsy consultant as well and have that stash to work on too. The struggle is real but wax makes me happy. I enjoy your channel so much and you are appreciated!

🥲😄I know and this doesn’t include my 1/2 empties and at least 20 full scoopables - right now with price of gas , food , even my animals food went up 20% 2 price hikes past month . It’s crazy wait til you see my RG it’s worse then Super Tarts , Teddy Bees etc etc etc seriously need to do this to not even have a desire to order more . It’s crazy yes it’s an addiction but go through your stash every time you want to order and that helps💞
If you don't like something give it away. I am not forcing myself to melt things I don't enjoy melting is to make us happy and love or at least really like what we melt.
I can't give away something though with no scent cause now to pay for shipping to pass on to someone else that won't smell it. I do give away wax that has scent that I just don't like. Example blueberry/cinnamon I shipped all of that to my friend who those are her top 2 favorites.

Moving across states will sober you up pretty well. While packing up my wax and candles to move back in February cause me to swear never to buy any more wax until next year. I only get Scentsy now and I don't get everything, I also got a few way too many candles from BBW and dipped my feet in Homeworx. I have not unfollowed any of the groups, I just don't buy anything, when I'm tempted to buy anything, I remember the pain to pack them for moving 😀.

I should have said turn off notifications on vendor FB not unfollow - I love to see what everyone gets and I do look but no more being notified of lists of what's being poured when I look it's so hard to resist but doing this is making it really easy especially with the cost of living right now. I was mentioning this on Charity's video because she said the same thing. I noticed my L3 wax recently is not performing, not only my recent purchases, but my older wax from 6+ months ago. Rose Girls is the other vendor giving me the same issues. I'm confident that the shelf life of L3 and RGW is not that long. On the other hand, my SGA wax from a year ago is still performing. So what I will do is carefully limit my stock/stack of L3 & RGW, and make sure I get through it within 6 months or else the scent drastically seems to go down in performance on cold and warm.
I seem to have issues with most wax over a year. If it was a super strong scent those I am ok with. My organization of wax stinks. (Two rubber maid, one for summer and one for fall/winter. Than a desk draw of mint. I am sure I must have bought dupes. Sad to have to throw out wax, I have had to do it and then I beat myself up over wasted wax, and money! I have slowed down, and only smaller orders, but truly I need to just stop buying.

I asked Nicole Perry months ago who has a lot of L3 what the shelf life is? she said she has L3 from 2017 that still performs but I don't have that luck and thought it was just me but I am seeing it is not. I have been pulling a lot of L3 also RG I believe consensus is her bakery blends do not have good shelf life so use those 1st so I have been pulling RG bakery too. I have learned so much in the past year and love passing it on and love to hear your experiences too so we help each other. I just learned from Jen Glitter to stop buying vanilla based wax til I use up what I have cause vanilla loses scent really fast so if you have vanilla try and use it. have a great day💞
I just make it a goal to use RG within 6 months MAX. Then stock up more. Especially anything bakery, nothing longer or the scent strength decreases noticeably. Don't get me wrong, I have my absolute RGW favorites, but the bakery shelf life is shorter from my experience
