I'd have never thought of splitting the party across different days and it seems like a great idea to suggest to my partner - we're considering renting an Airbnb for a microwedding and multiple nights for set-up and cleaning is a must anyway. Why not add a few more! His parents are divorced and not on speaking terms, so the idea of bringing them together was generating a lot of stress. A day for his dad's side of family and his mum's side seems like a good idea! My family lives in a different country, so there'd probably be 3 people who could join on both days since after flying over they'd probably make it into a holiday anyway. And when we're on it, why not add a day to celebrate with friends and a day closer to my culture (where weddings always last at least two days anyway)! That'd be so cool
I'm really considering flipping the wedding day, and having an intimate restaurant dinner before the ceremony, so we could have a "golden hour" ceremony outdoors. Then have cupcakes and toasts, a few pictures, and a send-off.
So grateful I found this video. You just gave me so much clarity and ideas on how to have an amazing wedding even with just a few people. Thank you so much!
I like the idea of excluding dancing for a small

This is exactly what I've been thinking!
