I’m relocating to Tucson by end of next month! Pretty weird to be coming in during the hot summer months I know 😅 But I first visited in June 2021, so I’m already familiar with the heat and I actually prefer dry heat over humid heat because I don’t sweat. I’m coming from Guam (US Territory) where it’s humid hot 90-98+ degrees all year round, so I think I can handle dry heat for 5-6 months out of the year in Arizona! I recently visited my elderly parents in Tucson from December to February 2024 and the weather was sunny, cold and BEAUTIFUL! I’m so excited to move and escape the high cost of living in Guam (mini Hawaii).

I been living in Arizona all my life and there’s people who aren’t even from Arizona that move down here. Whether they from Texas, Cali, Illinois, Idaho, New York and I’m thinking to myself damn, AZ must be the place to be.
Arizona looks cool but it’s way too hot for me. Been thinking of moving to Missouri or Arkansas you still get the four seasons but the winters are not as bad as up here in Northern Illinois.
For me, it will be for my health for the most part. Little humidity, less dampness. But there are other reasons, it is beautiful. I have only visited there 2 times but I have been from Flagstaff to Tombstone. It is sunny and makes me happy. So much to see and do. And it is far more cheaper then where I live now!
Weather. For my health, culture, fun things to do..retirement. Sick of the cold.
💯🙏
So many people move for these things! Are you currently in Tucson?

So exciting! I’ve worked with people relocating from Guam before! Are you going to be buying a home?
I don't know. But they need to stop. And stop bringing their California politics with them. It's bad enough that Tucson's mayor is killing this city.
Too much people visit Arizona
Theirs too much traffic in phoenix 😭😭😭
Come on down to Tucson!
Good information, Kimberly. We’re planning to move from VA to Tucson next year if everything works out.

Stop moving here you people are ruining it. This is a retirement state not a state to bring all the hooligans to.
Jobs, weather, people, economy, diversity, infrastructure, landscapes, culture and educational opportunities around every literal corner.
Agreed! It’s a great place to live!
