I know you said you can't focus on both mv and the lyrics so you often don't read them, but captions are a must have when it comes to bts' songs. Maybe you can watch the mv two times, once without and then the second time with captions?
Their MV’s are masterpieces (lyrics, visuals, top production..) but their live performances are another level, they are their own league. If you have time, pls try MV’s and live as well. And when you are ready, only then, boom! : their MMA’s live performances, mind blowing

The lyrics have a lot of references to other songs that only someone familiar with their discography would completely get as well. :) The lyrics are very, very personal to BTS and ARMY.
I just wanted to add that this song has been produced by member SUGA along with another producer and all the rapline members (RM, j-hope and SUGA) took part in writing their verses and also lyrics. I love the fact that they have so much involvement in their music making from writing to producing right from their rookie days which makes it more genuine and relatable to me. And they're amazing live performers who give their all everytime they are on stage. I'd love you to react to Guide to 7 members of BTS by Taylor Nakamoto if you're interested in learning more about the members themselves. It's a long video but I think you'd enjoy it 😄
Whats great about them they are all equal in the group. There may be lead, main and all that. But at the end of the day no one is better than the other because they are their own style that comes together and makes beautiful music. There may be a leader in the group but he guides his team. They are truly an amazing group of guys. 💜 you are going to really enjoy them. They are funny, chaotic, nice, and just relatable, there is just something about all 7 that you will connect to.

When it comes to BTS lyrics are ALWAYS imporant as the members have a hand in producing, composing and writing almost all their tracks, so i'm glad you paid attention to them. This time, Suga's the main producer of Take two and him, J-hope and RM co-wrote the lyrics. I really hope you will check out more from them and i can promise you that they'll keep surprising you as you keep discovering their discography. They're the most hard-working, humble and versatile artists i've ever come to know.

I'm Army and Atiny and it makes me so happy to see you checking out BTS and ATEEZ! BTS do so many genres of music like EDM, ballads, hip hop, etc. They have always been super involved in creating their music as well. My favorite top 3 albums are probably Wings, Love Yourself Tear, and The most beautiful moment in life: Young Forever. They have a huge discography with so many amazing songs and super meaningful lyrics. If you are looking for cool music videos I would recommend Black Swan, Blood, Sweat, and Tears, and Save me to start. For B-Sides I would recommend Butterfly, Dionysus, and Epilogue: Young Forever. It's so hard for me to choose just a few songs, but if you check any of these out I hope that you enjoy them😊. They also have different subunit songs (rap line, vocal line, and different combinations of members) as well as solo songs on their albums and the members have solo songs and albums outside of BTS as well. They are all currently releasing solo albums because the members are joining the military at the moment, so it was so wonderful to hear all 7 members on a new song together again. I admit that I did cry when I listened to them harmonizing together again after so long lol. There are so many songs for you to explore, I really hope you find more songs from them that you enjoy listening to or that you connect with through the lyrics and I hope you have a super fun time!

Everything they do is beautiful. Most fans dont really consider them to be Kpop, they sing in so many different genres, and they operate in a very different way from most Kpop idol groups. If you add together the success of all the Kpop groups except BTS it doesnt add up to the success of BTS. I am happy for you that you have decided to listen to them, you wont be disappointed. This song must have been prepared well in advance for their 2023 Festa ( 10th anniversary of their debut) as Jin and J-hope are now serving their mandatory military service. She now goes by Taylor Mari and the video is "A Guide To BTS Members: The Bangtan 7". I suggest you watch it...and plan to pause a lot. Army hates it when a reactor isn't paying attention when their favorite part comes up, so don't miss so much as a comma if you don't want "angry Army"...lol.

Their discography is huge so I always find it daunting what to recommend. The recommendations i see are great to start. BTS covers a range of genres but Black Swan, Fake Love, Life Goes On, Boy with Luv, MIC Drop Idol, Spring Day, ON Kinetic Manifesto: Come Prima, DNA, are a tiny list of the classics. If you want a taste, they do a medley of their songs: BTS Tiny Desk concert, 2021 BTS Room Live Festa, and 2022 ‘Proof’ Live 3 all English songs: Butter, Permission to Dance, Dynamite

It would be interesting for you to watch the video, A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7, which focuses on each one individually and will give you an idea of exactly who they are, and the time of work and talent of these guys, which June 13th makes 10 years since their debut, the group is composed of 3 rappers and 4 vocal line and yes they have a lot of dancing performances, it's worth taking a deeper look
BTS, unlike Western Boy Bands does nit focus 9n one singer with the rest of the group playing back up. So there is no Justin Timberlake like figure in this group. The are all equal and all integral to the execution of the song. One member, Jungkook, is referred to as the lead singer but not in the way we in the West use that term. The best way I can describe it is that JungKook sings the song and the other vocalist use his track as a guide to pitch their voices. I believe that part of the reason BTS did not break up like Backstreet Boys, Ine Direction or other boy bands is the fact that BTS is not forned around one guy. Also, for around 6 or 7 years, each guys writes/performs solo projects. By the way, I wish we could ditch the term " Biy Band or Girl Band" within tge music industry. I think it has evolved into a derisive, dismissive term. Plus, the meaning of boy in any other usage mean a young, pre teen male. Also, ther term BoyBand seems to say there is a buikt in expiration date.

Just to correct you, Jungkook is the main vocalist and Jimin is the lead vocalist. I’m not too sure what the difference is but apparently there is 😂
