Terraria, But Damaging Enemies UPGRADE My Bows...

- In this video I played Terraria but here's the twist, every time I damage an enemy I gain experience that goes towards leveling up my bows. With each level increases the damage, critical strike chance, size, and best of all additional arrows that I'm able to shoot out. Things are about to get insane so stay tune to witness it.

Just so you know, the reason why Hellfire Arrows did so little damage compared to Flaming Arrows is because the game has a protection that limits how many times you can hit an enemy when dealing damage with most attacks that can hit more than one enemy. Since Hellfire Arrows explode, they can deal splash damage to multiple enemies and activate the protection. But as an example, Bee's Knees isn't limited by it, because each bee is counted as a separate source of damage and can only pierce single enemy.
the stormbow also shoots less arrows when using holy unholy jester or hellfire arrows
Holy arrows still slap hard with the stormbow, so probably justified.

Im sure this isnt a new idea,but id love for you to start with a single weapon and go to the endgame with it. Just see how op it gets. Maybe thats more boring of a concept than it sounds but i wanna know what level it'd be at the end. Or maybe just testing weapons videos

I like using Magic Missile Rod with it idk why but it's just so satisfying
I doubt it would be the best since the way the mod works; by that I mean you get experience per hit the more damage means less attacks to kill in return makes for slower level gain as the level gets higher
@@gunstru I usually play Master mode with this mod as well as using Calamity and Thorium mods; it actually doesn't take long to level up most weapons. If you use some use some consumables to spawn some bosses/mobs with decent health then it can take about 1 to 5 minutes to get a weapon up to level 800. Some weapons level quicker/slower than others. I like using summons so I tend to use the ones that only spawn one minion but can be buffed up by using up more minion slots, like Abigail's Flower. It gets way too laggy if there are too many minions/particles.

I saw that accessories can also be upgraded. Can we expect that some kind of “spore bag” from a plantera can be improved so much that it will be unironically convenient to go to the moonlord? How do upgrading accessories generally work and how do they get upgraded?

With any mods related to weapon upgrading, the bee weapons always dominate, I was playing something similar and leveled up a bee keeper to lvl 200+ and kept using it until fishron.

You should do one of these where you are only able to use pre hardmode weapons of the chosen class.
Over leveling them might make it viable
Wouldn’t be surprised if the bees knees was viable against mechs plant and golem, which by then would be ludicrously strong
@@kenziebalhatchet yeah it seemed like with a few more levels (such as the ones from the destroyer) it'd be a powerhouse
@@kenziebalhatchet i think it may be less viable since bees give the enemy invincibility frames, so you can't really make use of the extra arrows per shot

reason hellfire arrows were doing really bad is because they pierce and piercing in terraria is super weird in the fact that if there are too many piercing projectiles only a couple get counted as damage, this is also the same for meteor shots and a few others.
There is a mod that allows you to extract a full stack at once,it is called bulk extractor...really convenient,every silt or fosils i see are like a treasure to me now,before i used to ignore them

The Bees Knees truly was the bees knees. LOL. Also, getting the magic quiver, then upgrading it to the flaming quiver would have boosted you dmg even more.
also ranged emblem would also boost your dmg
love your videos new to the channel and game you kinda got me hooked but I'm on controller and a newbie lol should make a video playing on console and explaining a lil more of the basics for the newbies ❤
I used this mod with bows too and discovered that the hellfire arrows are good, but their explosions will make that most of the arrows don't hit the enemy.

There is a quality of life mod that you can click a button with the fossil/slush and extractible stuff at once, like you can extractinate 9k really fast. Bulk Extractinator is the mod for when you do modded videos if you want to try it out.

One of these days I'd like to see you do one of these but only using the worst weapon of the type and just seeing how insane stacking levels on it forever gets.

You can make an armor made out of bones and cobwebs after beating skeletron that boosts ranger damage more than the fossil set does.
I wonder if staring the pirate invasion at the Beach would be a better way to level weapons since they would drop more maps so you could keep spawning them

i feel like this mod could make for s great series with calamity even though its a little op!
with this mod of items being leveled up, it does allow accessories to level up, whihc means he can have eirher crazy defense, or really enhanced percentages to accessories like the worm scarf, which is why i think instrad if a few large bees, he had like 80% large bees since his hive pack was leveled up a bit
Ive been playing calamity for the first time, actually my first modded run on terraria and finnally, FINALLY beat slime god after 15 tries

Tip if you are playing this mod kill eater of worlds if you are on pre-hardmode on post-harmode kill destroyer because it counts the segment damage

I played this along with Calamity Mod. (My settings were 100 XP for dealing damage, and 250 XP for getting hit)
The merchant was selling the P90 so I was like "Hey it'll be my first ranged weapon so why not"
Right now I'm post-Moon Lord (and I defeated most the bosses, including calamity ones) and let's just say that my level 287 P90 (That's the level of the weapon iirc) literally deletes healthbars in seconds.

What you could’ve done is got yourself two magic quivers and combined each one with putrid scent and the magma stone for a 20% increased in damage and flaming arrows and another magic quiver for more damage increase and I think they provide arrow speed too..

the bee gun will be CRAZY
Here’s an idea on this. Calamitas has a bullet hell. Give that bow to a friend with friendly fire on (and 20 arrows) tell home to shoot up and that would be a great way to train for SCal
Edit: all the accessories they would have during the fight with no armor or protection accessories
Edit: also give them the best ranger armor at that stage
