- In this video I play Terraria using Abigail only but here's the twist, every time I damage an enemy I gain experience that goes towards leveling Abigail. With each level increases the overall damage, attack speed and movement speed. Just how strong will Abigail become at the end of this? Stay tuned to find out!

Honestly, Abagail levelling up based on bosses killed would have been an amusing mechanic. Just leave it as something that can sorta follow you through the game even if it's not ideal

abigail does already upgrade herself once you go into hardmode
@@pitt7992 I was meaning that it would be more of a constant upgrade cycle with every different boss you beat along the way. Basically having it be a single summon that players can sorta keep around even if they're playing other classes.
@@user-cb2ne4si6x Not necessarily practical, but possible as either a challenge or a low effort option.
Idea: give yourself infinite summon slots, but only allow one of each summon. Use leveling for the summons and/or omniwield with whips for extra spiciness.

The Pharoah's set can be the best thing to find in a pyramid chest. If you throw both pieces into the shimmer, you get both the magic carpet and the sandstorm in a bottle.

@@emiliogomez996he grind 1h for leveling up Abigail to lvl 60, so I think he can do that as well 😂
@@emiliogomez996 shimmer can be found at the same time as creating a hellevator or mining for materials or finding crystal hearts or getting accessories from golden chests or just straight up looking for shimmer due to the really good qol and permanent upgrades it gives

FUN FACT: 31:38 you could have stopped at ruthless and it would have been better since its the same damage bonus with less knockback(so targets dont get bounced away)
ruthless generally has slightly higher damage even, and the only lasting benefit mythical has over it is knockback for summons

FAQ:
1. The mod only works on Terraria version 1.4.4 (there are almost no functions on 1.4.3)
2. If something doesn’t work for you, most likely you just haven’t accumulated enough level, and you should go to the mod settings to adjust everything for yourself. Most of all these concerns additional projectiles and reduced slots for minions.
3. Necr0 uses Per Level Mult = 25 in Additional Projectiles Chance, the other is unknown
4. The mod works with Calamity, Thorium, Fargos and other mods, conflicts are very rare and even when they happen, you can always disable the function that conflicts with other mods
5. At the moment, the mod cannot be configured so that it gives you a certain number of minion slots per weapon level, there is a mechanic for reducing the price of one minion, where with each level 1 minion will cost less slots
6. Armor upgrades only when this function is enabled in the config; the situation is similar for accessories, but they can improve if they are able to spawn projectiles that cause damage to enemies

Abigal is honestly underrated since she is the easiest summon to get early game basically (unless you're playing master mode) she can get some pretty nice damage in
You can get it on Any Mode. On Master - Just go and die several times. On hardcore enemies drop Tombstones I believe (or you can craft them).

She also gets upgraded in hardmode
I'll be honest I used Abigail well into hardcore before I used the Staves, they didn't feel as efficient as her, especially because of her dps and her just casually going through walls, I eventually swapped it with the dagger and went from. there

I really like levelling up a specific item through the whole game. It's cool to see how strong something can get, especially if it's an item that doesn't normally get a lot of attention

28:02 since 1.4 Witch Doctor sells the Tiki Armor as soon as you defeat Plantera, no staff needed.. Thank god for that, I remember killing Plantera like 13 times in one playthrough before finally getting the stupid staff I didn't even want because I already had Deadly Spheres, just to be able to buy the armor.
I think this is a reasonably hard challenge unlike his other vids.

Incase you do another summoner challenge, the best modifiers for minion staffs is ruthless or whatever increase damage the most
Another thing to note is that anytime you reforge or increase the damage of your weapon overall you have resummon the minion for the new damage to be applied
I personally am interested in seeing a sentry only run
you can't even get godly on summon weapons cuz they dont have crit chance
You're halfway there! You replace every accessory slot with a menacing accessory, summon all your minions, then switch to a warding set. This will snapshot the damage and help you stay beefy.

@@ElDorito29yes, but desert tiger summon can deal critical damage using its pounce attack...i build it and it deal 1,5k critical damage with every damage buff and change all my accessories to +4% damage
Love your videos Necr0, been watching you for a long while and you got some of the most exciting terraria content and it inspires me with a lot of mod ideas as well, I love seeing this concept too I remember when you first did a signature equipment mod playthrough and I loved the idea had to get it cause I love that idea of almost you get rewarded for using the same weapon for longer instead of always just ditching a weapon first thing when you upgrade, and used it in a lot of playthroughs too, love your videos though and they bring a lot of inspiration to keep Terraria fun as well! How were you able to get the summon items to level up though? I've searched through the configuration menu for a setting for that but whenever I did a summoner playthrough with it, they wouldnt get any exp from damaging enemies the only way I could manage to get any exp on the summon items was I would have to spam the summon on top of an enemy and the damage of them spawning on them would give them a little exp, if you have a fix for that? It's alright if not,not sure youll even see this comment but regardless love your videos theyre some of my favourites to watch and always make my day!!

Abigail getting a boost from going into hardmode is what made me use her to grind for the Sanguine staff for mechs in my summoner playthrough, she was just so useful I honestly could've used her for mechs over the bats...but eh I wanted to try the bats.

This video inspired me to start my own playthrough using just the slime staff which is much harder than Abigale as the slime staff gains 2 exp per hit

One thing you forgot is that you can shimmer the emblem to any emblem of your choice.

You can also use another Necromantic Scroll to get another minion slot + summon damage, as well as an Apprentice Scarf or any of it's counterparts. You should have the max amount of summons, 11 or in your case 21.

Honnestly you should add the mods modification you did. (Signature weapons values.) So we can have a similar playtrough to yours! (Been doing it with swords, but stats arent the same hahaha)
Abigail is my favourite weapon (fren) so every time the mod got updated, i checked if she finally worked (she didn't gain exp before), and when it worked i started an Abigail only playthrough too

Idk if you know necr0 but on summons the best modifier is ruthless as they aren’t affected by critical chance and speed is only for the actual summoning time alongside the mana cost

By the way, you no longer need the Pygmy Staff in your inventory for Tiki Armor. That has been removed since 1.4 / is only on the 3DS version.
hey one thing i do suggest when using mods like this in the future is add the settings your using on the mod so people like me who just got the mod and didnt get the same results and got confused.
The pharaoh set is actually the best item to get from pyramids now since each piece can be shimmered into a carpet and sandstorm in a bottle

Necr0, it is possible to change the emblem in shimmer, it is possible to change the pharaoh set in shimmer for the sandstorm in a bottle and for the magic carpet and it is no longer necessary from the pigmy staff to the witch doctor sell summoner items
I think you forgot that it has been almost 4 years since the change that made it so you no longer need to have pygmy staff to buy tiki armor lol ( all you need is to defeat plantera )
31:43 why do you want mythical on a summon? Ruthless gives an even biiger damage boost, the other stats don't really matter. Also keep in mind the speed increase from modifiers only applies to the weapon itself, it doesn't make the minion faster

damage modification doesn't affect summons, so in this case the *one* time you get godly by chance, it's not that good. It would be better to get ruthless, legendary, maybe even frenzying.

Hey, did you know that you can swap between all the emblems that the Wall of Flesh gives you in the Shimmer? This allows you to have the emblem you are looking for so you don't have to kill the Wall of Flesh several times or have to wait to kill all the mechanical bosses to make the avenger emblem.

Could you do Clicker class but every weapon attacks at the same time. If it's compatible with the mod. If not then I think a different cool concept would be any modded classes in general either attack at same time or with upgrades. Going with the recent content you're making.
