yeah honestly, that gd neural isn't a good idea. as much as i know they don't want to hear the "it'll kill creativity", i also know it could impact it a LOT if it gets released to the public. while a lot of people would use it for good, a lot of people would also abuse it.

I look at the possibility of AI in GD the same way I look at AI anywhere else. It has potential to be a useful tool for both experienced and unexperienced creators to either test ideas or help set up building blocks to work off of. Just like how Chat-GPT can sometimes be considered a tool to assist with ground-level work on a project.
However, taking an AI generated level and uploading it as your own is still stealing. It's not your level, its the AI's.
It is the exact same principle as asking Chat-GPT to write an essay, then submit that as your own, which is considered Plagiarizing, since you didn't write it, Chat-GPT did.
Not saying that I do or don't like the idea of AI in GD. I'm somewhere in the middle of "unsure," but that's my take anyways.

This is why I hate AI. Whether for art (digital art) or, as now, in GD. It simply takes away creativity and you don't need any skill for it. Some Creators or Artists put so much time into Levels and Pictures and dont receive any fame and some just make it with AI and gain masive popularity for nothing. But that's just my opinion!

By the way, AI related Geode mods won't be shown on the Geode index in the game (the one where you usually download mods). The rule was made (and agreed) by the Geode dev team. So you need to download and install that AI mod manually somewhere.

I think it should be public, but if you use it, you can't upload your level, even if it is unlisted. It should just be used for inspiration, because people like me need so much inspiration.

Im fine with AI with 2 exceptions:
1. Robtop personally approves it
2. Any level made with AI cant be rated. You can use it to help you understand concepts and really good unrated levels. Otherwise it's free rating points when everybody else had to make it work themselves

AI shouldnt be used as a Creative source, but as a tool. It can be used for good and can be used for bad, just as all things in the world. Now, I dont know how (or if) we can regulate it, nor do know if we should, but things like this have been happening since the genesis of technology. Cars will replace horses, robotics will replace factory lines, etc. We dont know what to do with AI, but we figure things out, so I'm not too worried. I will say, real artistry will never be replaced. There are things that technology will never replace, which is human emotion and passion, and that can be seen in AI paintings vs. Manmade paintings. We can tell as people

I think the ai is useful as a lot of us agree that the creator point achievement is too hard and it would be hype to see, but my only concern is the gameplay of such levels made by ai so i would like it to just make sample deco

This ai would be great to create levels or even type random things in the bar to get some ideas from it but if this ai would be able to create levels like culuc does, then there will be no matter how hard working or how talented you are in the geometry dash editor everyone would be able to make good levels and the featured tab would simply be useless.

The ai idea is cool, but it should not be released, or it should at least have restrictions. It’s like cheating a level by asking someone else to make it while you take all the credit. Ai has already been a problem for many people (mainly artists, which geometry dash players could fall under.) this could literally wreck the community and screw the real creators.
