Very calming as ever Howard , I’m unsure I’ll ever be so calm making it to my PDi PT3 standard and beyond.

Interesting to watch the debrief . I think you were right about the car park . For PDI's. The test starts as soon as the examiner is in the car, not as soon as you get on the main road.

Hi Howard, Great debrief and backed up by in-depth explanation. I’ve got my ADI part 3 next year in February thinking about taking a full uk licence holder could you please give me your top tips or even make a short video if possible.
    Thanks

Hi Howard, amazing debrief and it was really spooky how we both came to the same conclusion, completely agree! One other thing I noticed was that the student didn't do any blind spot or what I call "chin to shoulder" checks before changing lanes on dual carriageways or coming on from slip roads. There isn't time for a full blind spot check, but always important to have a glance to make sure no-one's in the blind spot. It was interesting as the Instructor checked over the shoulder, but didn't make the student do it. Anyway, just my thought, would love to hear your take on that one. Great video though and looking forward to seeing the others :) Greg

Hi Howard, thank you so much for this and thank you to Chris and his pupil too. very brave to do for all to see. can i just ask what 1 hazard 1 gear means or could you explain a bit more for me if you don't mind?

Hope it goes well Chris for your test.
I am just starting my adi training, and amongst a few bad habits and old training, the most ingrained is selective gears changing as you mentioned here.
What would be a good exercise or thought process for me to get into the habit of one hazard one gear going down. Going up I seem OK with.
    Thanks, wayne

There appeared to be a lack of blind spot checks when moving off and sideways glance when changing lanes..
