Thanks man, I bought it 4 months ago and had to ride it to the car, I folded it down to put in the back of the suv and brought it home and haven't been able to fix the lever to lock it in place properly since but soon as the weather gets better I want to start riding it and this video explained the process, most likely I had the grommet wrong or the nut too tight and the locking handle wouldn't stay in place. I do have other scooters that I have been riding but now it's time to take thw Wolf King out for a ride.

@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan So what do you think about my safety pin and if i turn it so the bearings are facing vertically i can pull the pin through the first section off metal but if the pin is horizontal the bearings get caught on the metal and don't come though. I've bought a new pin and it's exactly the same. I was thinking about putting a washer over the pin so the bearings catch and there's no way it could come loose. It won't affect the strength of the pin only make it more stable.

@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan yo I followed your stem guide and mine is perfectly set, so im sure thats not the issue but there is some play and noise when you put forward and back, you think it might be that big center black extra large allen bolt?
Yes @@highdesertbiker that barrel nut has to be turned until it's tighten upon that yellow back bracket. So once you put the Scooter on a platform. pull the safety pin, turn the red safety lever pointing to the top and before you raise the latch... look underneath at the barrel bolt and see how far it is away from the yellow back bracket. Before you lift the latch, screw that barrel bolt towards that yellow bracket... if you can't get to the barrel nut, then eyeball where it is and then move the toggle bolt to the middle opening and fold the stem. With the stem folded, tighten the nut to the barrel bolt (but make sure the barrel is turned horizontal). Now with the barrel nut tightened to the bracket and the lock nut tightened to the barrel nut... now follow the instructions on thee video and lift your stem back in place, making sure the toggle bolt is laying the barrel and lock nut to the bottom of the bracket and then push the latch down, it should feel a little stiffer then at first. Turn the red safety lever to 6:00 o'clock (or pointing to the bottom) Place your safety pin in and take your scooter down off the platform. You're ready to rock... everything should be tight as drum.
Dan I ended up going with the wolf warrior instead. After research it seems the king just has a higher top speed, the top speed for me doesn’t mean much as I’ll be cruising around 30-40 most of the time. Cheers and thanks for the uploads. Keep them coming
Hi @Quentin Sanders...Thanks for SUBSCRIBING and tapping the BELL to follow all my current Power Scooter Content. Though I truly understand your reasoning, my concern is, like most Riders, once they purchased the previous model (which is typically a lower cost of about $500) they find themselves quickly wanting more power, thus wanting a bigger, faster eScooter. I'm afraid that you might want MORE later and be stuck trying to sale your Warrior for a considerable discount because no one will want to pay close to what you paid, though it is still relatively new. My suggestion is to buy the higher powered, more advanced one that you initially wanted and set all your "P" settings to that of the current Wolf Warrior and when you grow tired of those lower performance numbers, instead of selling this one and buying the bigger, faster model... all you have to do is: Make New Adjustments and now you have a FASTER, BIGGER, BADDER eScooter but it's the original one you wanted in the first place. Just a suggestion... cause the thirst for more speed is REAL...
@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan that’s very good advice. My only issue is I need a scooter ASAP and can’t wait on the wolf king shipping. I reached out to voro and they couldn’t give me an actual timeline of how long until they could ship me a king. This will be my first true high powered scooter, so I’ll just enjoy it until I save up some more money to purchase a faster one if I need it in the summer. How much of a difference would you say the king actually drive around vs the warrior? Like for just regular crushing to the store or work, how much of a difference with them both being set to the same power is there?
There is a significant difference@@atldude12345 in the torque, speed and overall power. The King has a very strong initial snatch... and power off the line that's faster than the Warrior.
Makes me wanna double check my locking mechanism, on mine now,I have the gtr, would it be the same,I have no wobbles are anything but now I wanna check.

Yes, you are right... this is a process, and if followed, will make your Kaabo Wolf life a breeze. Also, there is a smooth process to getting this beast on a stand as well. To put it mildly, the ONLY way to lift and put this Scooter on ANY stand, is one wheel at a time. There is a simple way to get it on a stand without hurting yourself. Simply get your desired stand and place it parallel, and next to your Scooter. Next you want to guide and secure your Scooter with your weak hand, while lifting with your strong hand... the rear "handle" of the Scooter. You "wheel" (pun intended) learn with practice, how to maneuver the Scooter while rear wheel is in the air - by simply turning the front wheel simultaneously. @@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan Thank you. I wish they something like that here in my country. Looks like the ideal stand that I'm after. Will do some searching.
Dan, I just purchased a KAABO Wolf GT pro. When I received it, it would not lock into place to ride. I have been trying to adjust the two bolts that you have demonstrated on your video and have not been successful. At this point, the horizontal nut and the locking nut will not throw out from its casing far enough for the unit to collapse. No matter how much I pull the lever or push on the screw that has the little rubber piece on it to make it go forward. It just will not go forward and I don’t think I have it screwed too far, something is holding the lever from coming all the way up and at the same time not allowing the horizontal and the locking nut to go past the housing so that the unit will collapse. Do you think you can help me with what is going on with this thing, thank you looking forward to hearing from you Charlie

Hi sir. I've been following and watched your videos and they are very informative. Thank you. One thing that caught my attention is a motorcycle headlight on one of your kaabo wolf warrior. May I asked how you installed it and did you happen to make a video of it? Thanks again.
Man that was a hard one to explain. Nice effort. I was doing it the other day with the tires on the ground and the stem hit me on the head hard when I pressed down on the gold latch (because I wasn't holding the stem up with my free hand.) Bled all over the place!
Yeah, that's why it's so important to put the Scooter on a base, stand, Jack or something that gets its wheels off the ground. Once you understand the principles it becomes really really simple to operate. In the beginning it's next to impossible to do with both tires on the ground. Having the barrel nut, Toggle bolt adjusted and tightened properly is critical to the ease of operations, then you must tighten and blue loctite the bolt behind the red safety lever.

When my bolt drops down like yours there's no resistance when pushing the safety lever down. Then there ends up being some wiggle in the handle bars. How do you get rid of that?
Welcome to the Scootopia Family... You're now a Scootopian (a publicly recognized eScooter eNthusiast) Stay connected there's a lot planned for 2021 my Scootopian Brother.
Do you have to have the tires off the ground to unfold it? I just got mine today and it's really hard too fold it back down I got it to lock and the pin is at the bottom but when I push down on the gold latching mechanism it's really hard to push it down is it supposed to be really hard to push it down?
Hey @Stephen Lam... thanks for visiting Scootopia. I hope you like my Videos, if so... be sure to SUBSCRIBE to my Channel so that you don't miss any of my Power Scooter Content. I gotta lotta New stuff Coming your WAY. So Stay Tuned Buddy. In the beginning of learning how the mechanism functions... it is important to start with wheels off the ground. As you get more familiar (which should take about three to four days of folding and unfolding) I would actually practice if I were you, it will make you more comfortable. So as for the tightness of the Latch. It can be that you did not set up the Toggle Bolt and Grommet properly. I believe the nut may be a little to tight. So (with the Scooter on a step stool, crate or jack), unlock the Stem (by removing the Pin, opening the Red Lever, and pulling the Latch... all three should be un-done). Now look under the Folding Mechanism at the Toggle Bolt while it is loosely in place. It should be resting at the bottom, with the Grommet horizontal and touching the Bracket. You should be able to easily move it up and down. Now in that position, make sure the Nut is tighten to the Grommet in that lose position while at the bottom, touching the Bracket (no space) It should not be hard to fall to the bottom. If it does not just fall to the bottom, loosen the Nut a little, (enough to turn the Grommet one turn so that it is still horizontal, it MUST ALWAYS BE HORIZONTAL) now tighten the Nut to the adjustment that allows it to fall easily to the bottom of the opening in the yellow Bracket beneath the Folding Mechanism. If it is freely falling and you've tightened the Nut, with the Toggle Bolt in position at the bottom of the Bracket... Now sit back on the deck, facing the three Safety features and now straddle the Latch with both thumbs and press down. It should be Firm and take some effort to push down (not stuck without going down). Once it is all the way down, then turn the red Lever to the bottom, it should be stiff as well (make sure that Nut on the back of the Red Lever is tightened with blue loctite because it will rattle off). Now, lastly secure the last Safety feature (The Pin), hold the button before you put it in and continue to press it down as you EASILY SLIDE IT IN (if it has any resistance going in, do not continue and DO NOT RELEASE the button, just take it out without releasing the button because something is not set right) Unlock the Lever and Latch and raise the Toggle Bolt to fold the Stem down so that you can start the Folding PROCESS again (just the Folding Process, don't re-tighten the Bolt, or Nut that should be good)... Now make sure the Stem is seated flush by feeling it touch down squarely (feel the Stem hit its stopper with the Toggle Bolt through the Bracket, it won't be down until you lift the Latch and listen for it to fall... once it falls. Check the Toggle Bolt is down and while it is down, take your thumbs and press the Latch down, once Latch is firmly in position, turn the Red Lever Down, pointing down. Now take the Pin, press the button in EASILY SLIDE it straight in the hole, NO resistance) If it GOES IN EASY.. THEN and ONLY THEN, RELEASE THE BUTTON. That Pin should ALWAYS be the loosest Safety Feature to engage. Never STIFF like the Lever or Latch. It should ALWAYS slide in and out EASILY. Hope these instructions help you...

I have a question for you. I bought a kaabo king new, and when I took it out for a ride I noticed the battery life is not like my warrior 11 and I knew that but each time I went out I again noticed that it goes from 100 percent to 98 in less than a half-mile. On my way to the store, I had it on the lowest setting, single-mode but when I left I put it on (It was already on mode 1) mode 1 but dual motor so it went faster than 11 mph and that's when it drooped from 100 percent to 98 and back in forth when I hit the throttle. I had just charged the battery that morning. it only has 60 miles on it. I never plugged it in the wrong way to get that "popping" sound. Do you think its a defective battery or something else? Thanks for any help. John.
Hey @Big City... thanks for visiting Scootopia. I hope you like my Videos, if so... be sure to SUBSCRIBE to my Channel so that you don't miss any of my Power Scooter Content. I gotta lotta New stuff Coming your WAY. So Stay Tuned Buddy. No I don't think you have anything to worry about with your battery dropping to 98 percent in less than a half of mile. I own 20 eScooters and I have seen this on most all my Scooters in the last three years. If your battery was dropping by 20 to 40 percent I would have concern but I don't think you should be alarmed by that two percent drop.
@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan The reason i was worried was because on my first ride i went over 5 miles before it even dropped. (It has 60 miles on it). And each time i rode it the battery kept dropping. If i continued on riding it yesterday (i went to the store and came back. It would have dropped even further and quicker. On my last ride before this, i rode it for about 5 miles and had 63 pecent left and i never hit mode 3 or went over 30 mph, my regen doesnt work, when u put that setting on, it brakes again after u release the brake and the it speeds up with out you (me) hitting the trottle for a quick second. Thanks for the feed back Dan... keep safe and happy scooting... john.
Sir, I would like to congratulate you, that is an AWESOME scooter, a legit 60Mph Speed Demon 👌🚀. In a race between the Kaabo Wolf King and The Dualtron Storm, both with riders the same weight. Which one would win?
Hey @Tesla Cyber Truck... that's an excellent question. Both of those Scooters are pretty evenly matched except for the King having a smaller battery at 28Ah. (The Storm with a 31.5Ah). What I know is that the Storm has more Torque and the KING has more Speed. The race with both Riders being equal would boil down to skill and one's experience racing/riding fast. I would give the edge to the King because of it's stability. The stability will allow the Rider to push harder to the edge where the Storm Rider would probably pull back a little at speed's crescendo. Now if the Storm had an Errex steering damper on it, then it would boil down to pure Rider talent.

Turn the red safety lever to 6:00 o'clock (or pointing to the bottom)
Place your safety pin in and take your scooter down off the platform.

Your body build (weight, height, feet etc) will play a big part in your choice.
If Big DAWG like me (@ 240lbs... 6'1" tall, size 14 shoe and big hands) lean me more to Big DAWG capable eScooters. I would then say: The King! By all means. If not a Big DAWG, then the Warrior would be cool (not as much power as the King though)
solid video, I'm ordering a Wolf King GT Pro tomorrow and I'm assuming the process will be the same. I was wondering why the heck a video showing how to do this was 17 minutes. But this looks sure looks like a process. Getting the 125lb scooter on a stand will be the fun part for me lol.

Congratulations on your decision to join the "Wolf Pack" by purchasing one of the best Scooters on the streets for the value. sure to use my Name (OhManDan) to get $50 Discount off your purchase.
I will create a Video today on how to handle, and lift this Beast easily on any rack, box or stand.

That Stem locking mechanism is really not that bad though. In the beginning the struggle is real because owners have to contend with physics while trying to lock or unlock it. Once they understand why and how everything works, then it becomes very simple.
But I get it. Every eScooter is not for everybody... you were smart enough to do your homework and FIND the eScooter that was right for you and when Consumers do that in this Industry, they are sooooo much happier with their purchase and their overall experience is quite noble.

I got the Stand from Home Depot...
I put the tread on the opposite is that ok it rides fine
These scooter companies need to keep stem folding simple like on Nanrobot D6+ never a wooble and folds in under 10 seconds . Great Video btw when I wolf king GT had me doing the walk of shame me and uber xl couldn't get the damn thing folded lol wish I seen this video

Hi sir.

One thing that caught my attention is a motorcycle headlight on one of your kaabo wolf warrior. May I asked how you installed it and did you happen to make a video of it?
Thanks again.
Thank you @MysticWolfRider and thanks for the SUB and loyalty.
Yes, I did make a video for that light mod.
Good great instruct

Now in that position, make sure the Nut is tighten to the Grommet in that lose position while at the bottom, touching the Bracket (no space)
It should not be hard to fall to the bottom.
Now, lastly secure the last Safety feature (The Pin), hold the button before you put it in and continue to press it down as you EASILY SLIDE IT IN (if it has any resistance going in, do not continue and DO NOT RELEASE the button, just take it out without releasing the button because something is not set right)
Unlock the Lever and Latch and raise the Toggle Bolt to fold the Stem down so that you can start the Folding PROCESS again (just the Folding Process, don't re-tighten the Bolt, or Nut that should be good)...
Now take the Pin, press the button in EASILY SLIDE it straight in the hole, NO resistance)
If it GOES IN EASY..
THEN and ONLY THEN, RELEASE THE BUTTON. That Pin should ALWAYS be the loosest Safety Feature to engage. Never STIFF like the Lever or Latch. It should ALWAYS slide in and out EASILY.
Hope these instructions help you...
Anyone know where I can get spare screws for the side of the folding mechanism?

Thanks Alejandro Ramos My Scootopian Brother. I appreciate You.
