These are celebrities that have, *actually* come to Christ.
Justin Bieber, Chris Prett, Megan Fox, Kanye West.
You can tell that they're not really Christians because they're still accepted by the world. And eventually they come back and reveal what they really believed all along.

Not because of his celebrity.
But because of his mind & speech skills.
I can absolutely see this man becoming one of this generations great theologians because of where he came from, his understanding of life, And his ability to be concise and thorough.

@@stlrecon2475 I am really not. I truly hope he has found the Lord. All heaven rejoices when a sinner comes to repentance. It's more than mere mental assent, It is getting into a living relationship with Jesus, in obedience to His Spirit, getting victory over self, the flesh and the world.

I've always really liked him because he's always come off as someone who is genuine. I've prayed for him and Jordan Peterson for years.

I see the simplicity in the word and I've always been looked down on in bible studies for giving simple answers instead of philosophical and sophisticated answers and it has caused insecurities for me like I'm looking at scripture incorrectly or something and if I am, no one ever said anything.

It's true that God doesn't need experience to learn anything, but Jesus was both man and God. The Scripture tells us that he learned obedience:
*Hebrews 5:7-9*
*In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered. And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him*

God didn't come down to earth to experience though, He came down to for one sacrifice Himself for us. He taught and He healed so many.

There are lots of things he came for. Understanding & experiencing humanity was one. He actually fulfilled the law. He came as the second Adam, the lamb of God, the King of peace and so much more.
Yes, God fully knows what the human experience is like. He didn’t need to become man to know this. Becoming man added nothing to God’s knowledge. As humans, WE need to experience something to fully understand it. But God doesn’t.

He was missing two very important elements of the gospel here: knowledge of sin and repentance, without which there is no salvation. We must see our sin and most people really do not see how damnable our sins are. We see ourselves much more lightly than God’s standards make them. We also often skip repentance - not only for actual sins but our sinful nature.
No repentance mean change your mind not stop sinning .. you repent by simply trusting in jesus christ sacrifice from whatever you believed about the eternal after life before .. nobody works their way to heaven, you trust with simple child like faith

We broke the law, Jesus paid the fine. That’s what happened on that cross. His last words were “It is finished” the debt had been paid in full because Jesus came to earth died the death we couldn’t was raised on the third day. If we repent and trust in Jesus for our salvation we are no longer slaves to the law we’ve broken sentenced to death and Hell. Instead we are transformed in Christ with a new heart that loves what is good and can have full assurance that we will be with Him in Heaven when we die. That is good news! 🎉 So don’t be like the man trusting in his so-called goodness to save him on judgement day. It won’t work. That person is jumping out of a plane flapping his arms to save himself. Don’t do that. Put on the parachute and trust it who is the Saviour Jesus Christ.

That’s a pretty narrow band of people. That pope is also abandoning the gospel, so there’s that. Russel did a *_far_* better job of explaining the gospel than the pope recently did in his interview about what gives him hope for the future.

I think this has always been a strength of Russell’s. Very bright and articulate man. But now to be more oriented with Christ, I think this is a huge win for Christianity, and getting strong messages out to the mainstream. I am early in my Christian faith too and relate to his journey.

No one ever talks about what the scripture says about what one has to do to be saved. There is something called “repentance” involved. “Godly sorrow leads to life while worldly sorrow brings death.” Once you truly repent (to repent is to turn away from your old life of sin) you must surrender your life to the Lord Jesus and ask him to come into your heart. Then, if you are sincere, you receive a new spirit from God. Jesus told the Pharisee, “You must be born again.” The Pharisee did not get it just as many people today do not get it. They seem to think that they are joining a club. The scripture says that even the demons believe and they tremble! Just believing does not get you into the kingdom. You must be born again!

I agree with what he said minus the word "Simplicity". I can understand how it would help some young christians, but I dont think anything about Jesus' sacrifice and everything that leads up to it as simple.
No doubt God knows humanity inside and out, but it is amazing that he chose to put himself through the ordeal of living on Earth for thirty-three years. Earth was the appropriate place for God to allow himself to experience anger, pain, and temptation in the context of being human. Sure, he could have accomplished this in other ways, but his teachings and example of pure love has stuck with humans for thousands of years...
