Fantastic video and tutorial series. I was wondering if you could provide a macro for smite spells like Wrathful Smite for when they crit. I tried to modify this macro and looked it up online but to my dismay, failed terribly. At the moment, I've been clicking the damage twice but would love something more streamline so I could add flavor text/images without clogging up the chat box. Thanks in advance.
This is awesome! Thanks for the tutorial. I'm having an issue though where if I answer "No" in the query, the chat displays a "0" instead of removing the field. Is that a setting issue?
Great video! The divine smite is a great macro. I saw that you also have a lay on hands macro. What does that do? I play a Paladin in a game and it might be super helpful too! Thanks
Hi! I'm the one who made the video (not Crashgem). The Lay on Hands Macro is a query-based targeted macro that I will be making a video on very soon (it is somewhat different from the macros shown here). It lets me target a token and then displays a query asking me how many hitpoints I want to heal the target for.
I assume you are talking about the Great Weapon Master feat where you take -5 to the attack roll and gain +10 to the damage roll? In this case instead of using a query, I would just copy the regular attack, call it Greataxe (PA) and then have -5 to the attack roll field (between STR and Proficient) and then +10 in the damage roll field (after STR). You would have two buttons on your bar but that is the easiest way to do it and you won't be forced to deal with a query popup every time you attack.
Thanks for the command writing this works great! One unusual thing for me is that when using the simulated 3D dice, when activated, this command rolls an additional 2d8s in the simulation. So level 1 divine smite against non undead/fiends, no crit - 2d8 damage but for me this throws 4 of the simulated 3D d8s.... weird?? Does this do the same for others? thanks
I would've literally never have gotten to this without this video, thanks alot.
Glad we could help.
This Divine Smite macro is perfect! I love it! Thank you so much! :D
You're so welcome!
that helped me so much. Thanks man.

Awesome macro tips... more please!
Try as I might, I have not been able to convince them to reveal any more player secrets.

@@CrashGem That sounds cool. Looking forward to the video! Thanks
how would you setup power attack for barbarian as a query since it changes both the attack roll and damage roll?

@@CrashGem Thank you. I actually figure out a work around. I simply made power attack a buff so I can toggle it whenever I need it.

Yea 3d dice don't always play well with macros.
