Well done 'One Guy ...' I know, the first couple of trips can feel a bit weird and especially with a new bike there will be all sorts going on. It is important that you get out there, choose life and enjoy that fantastic machine. Great video too. Cheers man.
Thanks very much. Head was a bit troublesome in parts but nothing major, thank goodness. Generally a cracking trip and great head meds once I'm up and running on the road. 👍👍👍
Scott I can’t tell you how pleased I am to see you back, on a bike, on an adventure and having the best fun. I’m enjoying the journey with you and looking forward to the next episode. That is a b great machine you chose. Good one. 👍 Dave k 🏍️🇩🇪R100rs
Looks like you have had great weather, which makes the difference! From one Rocket 3 GT owner to another, you will now know, not to pass a petrol station when less than 75 miles range, as when you are on your sort of trips, you just never know when the next petrol station will appear & in what village !! Try and get someone to make you an extension to your sissy bar, that way you maybe able to reposition your back pack as the Triumph one does not take to much in size/length. Good luck on the remainder of the trip - those 20 mph villages are a pain - the main reason we don't venture to many times to Wales !!
You'll see the weather change ! I now know what all of the Rocket owners are talking about !!!! OMG do they throw up crap. Unreal. Small price to pay for such a mega bike. Don't care. You think i would have learned by now about petrol stations the amount of times I nearly run out. O well. I'll look at the backrest situation defo, just wanted to get the first trip all done and see what the situation was. Thanks very much. Go safe.
Glad yr liking the new bike Scott. The smile says it all. Two random facts. 1. After seeing the sissy bar bag on your RK, ive bought a similar one and its fantastic, so thanks for that. 2. Went to that strangely named place on the same day (I think) that you would have done. Its absolutely stunning... Looking forward to the rest of the trip
That's nuts. I could of actually met the man I threatening to glue a hamster to 🤣. Glad you're getting on with bag, i love mine. Bit tricky on the Rocket but there you go. Cheers mate.
nice to see you on the bike with good weather fella keep safe. ohh just one thing at least riding around Wales you wont be able to run it it like you stole it with all the bloody 20mph zones hahahaha.
Run it in like you stole it 🤣Excellent. I'm trying to be good until it gets over the 1000 mile mark as Triumph have said. It's difficult. The weather changes buddy, this is me we are talking about. 😂😂😂
Im enjoying your videos and the new bike is awsome. I am curious though can you tell me how many accurate miles you get from a full tank of fuel please?
I short, no bloody idea. At the moment I probably get far less than I should because of how I'm riding 🤣. I'll will keep an eye on this and report back. Thanks very much for watching.
i think they are maybe about the same. Absolutely terrible 🤣 I mean they are both big engines but I will pay more attention to the mpg and overall range next time. I was just so happy to be out on the first trip with it. At least I can see when I'm running out on this where the Harley has never had a working fuel gauge.
Lol if you ran out of fuel 200 yards from a petrol station on a very slight uphill gradient you'd be goosed on that bike, as much use as a chocolate firegaurd to me that would be.
@@1guyaharleyandadrone657 My mate has the earlier version what beast! another freind tested it on the test track he worked on during development , he's an ex early model unrestricted hayabusa owner too & it blew him away with the acceleration ! I struggle to push my 21 yr old sv650 up any hill if it runs out ! .Enjoy it mate you only live once !
Scot me ol fruit why do you rely on your sat nav when it doesn't work half the time. always carry a map.the AA map..if I'm going to the lakes I just cut out the map of the lakes and put it in a laminate sheet and if my sat nav not working I just look at the map. me and my good lass enjoy watching your adventures even though you do get lost.lol
Half the point of it is getting lost and having a useless sat nav. It's good fun. Sometimes doesn't exactly feel like it at the time but I'd miss it. Thanks both for watching.
Beauty or beast? How about a beauty of a beast. This mileage calculation back to the shop. Did you factor in another ten percent for getting lost? 😊 I typed uwchmynydd into Google translate and played it back. Not gonna try to pronounce it because I might sprain my tongue. But it translates to high mountain.
Well every days a school day. Thanks for that, pity I didn't get there 🤣The mileage was WELL over but they were fine with it and most importantly they washed my bike for me as I hadn't done it 👍Thanks

Great to see you going places on the new ride. Love how you actually plan a route 🤣😂
Of sorts anyway. Always manage to go off the route or get lost. Best way. Cheers. Thanks for watching 👍
Ace video mate, loving how now that you've got a fully functional fuel gauge you get range anxiety 😉
Keep up the great work and thank you 👍🏻
😂 not sure what's best. Knowing or not knowing my running out of fuel 😂😂 cheers buddy.

Thanks very much Dave. I hope you've been getting out on your beauty ?
brilliant video, amazing bike
Thanks very much. Loving it more the more miles that i do. More vids coming. 👍
In an ever changing world, it's reassuring to know that even with a new bike, 1 Guy still gets lost 😅
Spin me round in my own kitchen and I can get lost 🤣
The Harley has been putting the scares on it if it doesn’t get lost occasionally 😂
@1guyaharleyandadrone657 Especially if the WiFi is out at home 🤣,
"Anyway weeeeeeee" . Aye that about sums it up . excellent .
Cheers Buddy 👍

Enjoyed that one Scott, bike doing good, was just thinking to myself if you get lost what chance have I got, loved it.
None whatsoever in the middle of Wales 🤣
Hello from Fife, Scotland, just found your channel, great content, got yourself a new subscriber. Looking forward to watching more of your vids.
Hi there. Thanks very much. Hopefully the next one will be hitting tonight. 👍

If the Hells Angels ever start a knitting and bingo chapter they’ll be the first to join! Great to be such a good ambassador for biking 👍
Hi, Hardcore all the way me 🤣 Going around causing mayhem with my getting lost and looking confused. 😂
Offline maps for the whole of Wales from now on!
No No No. where's the fun in that 🤣🤣🤣
@@1guyaharleyandadrone657 🤭
Invest in a Garmin, wouldn't be without it. There is a excellent bracket for them too (aftermarket).
That would mean I didn't get lost. The sick, weird side of me like it. 🤣 Thank you 👍
@@1guyaharleyandadrone657 Oh, I still get lost 😂
@@triumphthunderbird1 There's no hope for us then. 🤣
Is the fuel difference noticeable compared to your previous Harley?

Calimoto with offline maps is your friend, no signal required.
Errr, not getting lost. Seems a bit odd and alien. 🤣
Why is it that every new bike now whatever the make needs its first service at 600 miles. I'm sure this didn't used to be the case.
I don't think so either. Bit of a pain. I would have done loads more miles if it wasn't for that. It's all about the dollar ! Thanks for watching 👍
Lol if you ran out of fuel 200 yards from a petrol station on a very slight uphill gradient you'd be goosed on that bike, as much use as a chocolate firegaurd to me that would be.
Tell me about it. I'd have more chance of pushing the Harley up a hill. Not the lightest bike in the world. Cheers.
