  • My 1998 ElectraGlide Classic has been leaking primary fluid, I thought it would be fun to use my GoPro and the TimeWarp setting to see where it's coming from, check out my next video of me fixing the leak. Thanks for watching!

Couldn't you just find the highest point of oil on the cover and know immediately which gasket it was coming from? Not many different places it could be leaking

Inner primary leakage has plagued my 88, clutch dust is very abrasive and will eat the seal, to prevent this change primary fluid often,

@@ThisOldHarley my leaks have always started right after service at first I thought drain plug couldn't fix, next primary cover gasket, then discovered leaking was inner primary seal 30k leaking again, talking with my mechanic he explained about the clutch
Dust, Harley recommends 5k my mechanic says 3, gear oil too, it's a quart, and not hard to do, seals and bearing in the tranny,
Not so much. Even that inner primary seal is kind of a big deal, l let it go and it cost me, thinking it was just keeping the chain wet. Very dirty inside the primary.

Maybe you should use appropriate allen keys for wrenching! All the allen bolts look like hillbilly teeth😂

After putting on 100k miles, you do A LOT of primary changes, I do use the correct size Allen but things don’t stay new forever, thanks for watching and appreciate the comment
