You can sub a hdc or even a bpdc for the esc stitches

I have a ton of #6 Bernat baby yarn I’d like to use up.. I normally use a 12 hook and about that many stitches for my blankets in double crochet.. can I pull this off? Also is this the same stitch pattern as your cable hat? I’m following that one now.. love love love your style and excellent videos

I chained 117 stitches. I did it 3 times and it is not coming out.
I think she said 116 stitches. You might listen to the beginning of the video again.
I just listened to the video again. You chain 117 and then do the first single crochet in the second chain from the hook giving you 116 stitches. Hope this helps.
