Not only is Ryan an awesome angler but he also rescued my daughter's fishing rod from the bottom of a lake. I'm also fortunate to call him a friend. Just a genuine good dude!
As of 2021, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) stocks tiger muskie in at least seven lakes across the state each spring: Evergreen Reservoir: 247-acre lake in Grant County's Quincy wildlife refuge, first stocked in 1997 Silver Lake: 486-acre lake in Spokane County, first stocked in 2002 Lake Merwin: In Cowlitz County Curlew Lake: In Ferry County Anderson and Mayfield lakes: In Lewis County Lake Tapps: In Pierce County Newman Lake: In Spokane County
Thanks Matt! Some of the tiger musky out there have weird deformities. Not exactly sure why but it is almost rare to get a perfect specimen. It does make them all super unique tho which is cool
@@MattVavrochFishing yea being hybrid they're usually hatchery raised and supposedly it's from banging the glass tanks dunno if there's a reason they do it but allot of times it happens. I'm assuming some cases have to be genetic like a cleft lip almost but I'm not a biologist lmfao
Can you rent a boat at lake tapps? Also any tips for someone who wants to try to catch Tigers? I didn’t know we had big fish in lakes other than lake Washington. Lately I been going to silver lake but everything is small. The biggest fish I caught out of a lake was 18.5 inches from Spanaway lake. It was a bass. I’ve done combat fishing at rivers and caught salmon. I want to try for these. Amazing video! I’m definitely subscribing!
you cant rent a boat, 99persent of the lake is surrounded by homes, ther are 3 lakes in WA that are stocked with Tigers, I strongly suggest trying elsewhere for muskies before you fish them here.

I paused the video to check comments and when I hit play, he immediately said he's a high sky mid day believer. I guess I should shut up and watch the rest of the video LOL
Can you turn music down when making video. Its hard to watch from work. :) Maybe put music a little quieter that taking volume. Just a thought. Great video others.
I find the music to be both overly loud and very annoying. Can't you just provide a video without all the unnecessary racket ? Please clean up the language so my grandkids can watch and learn from your presentation. Good video, lousy background noise.

Awesome video as always dude. That one musky had such a weird upper jaw, very unique fish and easy to tell if that one has been caught before!

I like how the boat doesn’t lean when you have 4 people casting on the same side. 👍
That alumacraft fishes like a dream
I agree, very nice boat

Am gonna hopefully try fishing for these monsters. Any tips would be very helpful. Question: do I need a strong reel for this?
Yes. Buy quality. Tranx 400 is the best of the best.
I’m trying to catch my first musky here where’s the best spot?
I am out on the water right now trying
Oh awesome
I was wondering the same thing. I live next to Allen Yorke and also wondering the best time of day.

I jus spent 4 hours yak trolling out there, where were you you guys at and what time of morning was it?

4 people casting with 9ft rods is brave hahaha
Video would be a lot better without all the swearing. Would like to let my kids watch but not with the those mouths, LOL
