People rarely consider Tords and Edds friendship, this video shows the betrayal and separation, even the affect of John being killed shows in this, Edd knowing John as that friendly neighbor, that hits hard
Side note, Edd never had any beef with Tord or John, getting hurt when Tord said “who needs friends when I got this?” Think about it, even after that bacon episode they stayed friends, 10/10 honestly

Ok forgive me if i go on a bit of a rant here. But I absolutely ADORE this! The art style, the effects, and most of all, the story it tells. I feel like most people forget about the dynamics between Edd and Tord and The End, because I've mostly seen stories of post The End with Tom and Tord, and maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but this is a breath of fresh air. It really reminds me of how close Edd and Tord were before Tord left. I just really love this story.

When Jon died I immediately started making stories with my oc s and everything, I made pieces fit, I made Jon come back, I revived Edd, I made them forgive Tord, my imagination is wild in my head, every night I would make papers and maps and notes for role plays and ideas on my world, everything’s coming together, I wanna be just like Edd one day....I miss him....everyone does...when Tord and Tom left eddsworld my ideas kept coming and coming for what would happen next, all that was in my head was “ Matt’s gonna bring it back I know he will “, sorry was this to long?, anyways I love your art and the effects! Also the song

almost completely forgot about this but 3 years later my stories, AUs, and OCs for this little little show about 4 friends going on adventures have changed so much. I was really young when I got into Eddsworld and when I originally made this comic I was still young, it's crazy what can happen in 3 years isn't it?
Now that I'm aware this is my most liked comment, and that people actually replied and related it makes me so happy to look back at these times-

I am glad that there are someone like me, I really wanted them to forgive Tord and have a good time, I wished to grow up and be a part of the eddsworld crew if it still exists or I will have to start it all over on my own. Good job but life isn't always fair...

This just reminds me so much of the old Eddsworld, where they were all friends and everything was fine, but then Edd got cancer and Tord left which changed things a lot. And then, there’s The End. Tord betrayed Edd, Matt, and Tom. And then Edd left us, Tom left to make asdf movies, and now Matt is all alone.
Once they were together, but now they’re all apart.
I miss Eddsworld so, so much.
But his world must keep spinning.

This is so bittersweet to me and nearly any sad eddsworld edit.. I want to cry but I'm happy. I went through a lot when I started to watching Eddsworld (in 2012 just after edd sadly passed -my now ex- friend told me that an animator died and I started watching it) now I've moved house and I'm homeschooled, a lot of shit went on and it's still not over. I've recently got back into eddsworld since stopping after something serious happened in October and this just..makes me so sad and happy..

It is 2021.
Once I saw that newly made Eddsworld Eddisode, something inside me that was cold and still, like a blown out candle, lit up once again. I withdrew from Eddsworld once I watched all the Eddisodes and accepted the fact that Eddsworld hadn't made a post in over 4 years or so.
The new Eddisodes are decent, but it just doesn't feel the same. TomSka and Tord Larsson quit Eddsworld, while Edd is gone, though I know his world will keep on spinning.
Matt held on though. For all these years, he struggled to scrape together a decent cast, and Edd would've been proud. Though I respect the fact that TomSka and Tord Larsson left.
Though Eddsworld is back, nothing will ever replace the old Eddsworld Cast. Edward Duncan Ernest Gould, Thomas James Ridgewell, Matthew Joesph Hargreaves, Tord Larsson, I will never forget you from this point on.
