I've got 15 years with this company and I'm here to tell you that's standard in the industry. He's throwing them on top of other packages so it's not hitting hard ground. There's a way you can throw packages to where they won't break on impact. If he feels something in the package that's fragile, and believe it or not you can tell, he would have put it on the ground. You can see the last package in the video he sets it down. This is because he could feel the contents were not to be thrown. If you go into a FedEX or UPS facility you'll see everyone do this at times.
I'm so glad there is a person like you in these comment sections. I worked for FedEx too and know exactly what your talking about.

For the record i did this job for 12 years and never once did anything like this. I respected the job and took it serious. It did get like this sometimes though with new younger employees who took the job for granted and never really wanted to do it in the first place. When i was hired jobs were really hard to find and i counted my blessings to get the job.
100%. The daily drivers that come by our warehouse that are older do a good job, but the younger ones are so shitty at their jobs.
We need more people like you in the workforce cause people have no appreciation for what they could lose in the blink of an eye he probably doesn’t have a family to take care of

I work for fedex 😂 got shown the video in work in a team briefing so in answer to all off your comments.yes I am too weak and yes it must be true Ive never worked for fedex as you'd need a degree in picking up parcels. It's not a hard job to get as they sack people very frequently. Parcels go down chutes harder and faster than that guy throwing parcels sometimes heavier parcels go down the chutes after smaller fragile parcels this explains the damages occurring in the depot. Its just a rumour though as I clearly have never worked or currently work there 😂

The facts are: The UFC pays fighters 13% of total profit, they cannot get any promo deals or sponsors, former champions like Sean Strickland get 150k per fight after winning the belt (after taxes, coaches, travel, etc he takes home about 50k. Taxes are 50%, and then you pay coaches and travel, etc), they only offer 5-8 fight deals and low ball them so if they become a star they don't have to pay more because they are locked in a contract and where else are they gonna go?? They have a monopoly on all of MMA, so they can pay them minimum wage and they have no other options. But brain dead idiots like you who think 100k is fine because it's more than what an average American makes have no idea what you are talking about. It is payed in a lump some so taxes take 50%, they do not cover medical, they do not cover travel or hotels, they have to pay their coaches and trainers and gym fees, and "for only one night" lmao being a fighter is a 7 day a week job and takes more effort than any other job in the world, only for you to get CTE and go crazy at 35 years old. They are professional athletes, every other sport pays 50% of profits to the athletes, not UFC.

I worked at UPS for a short period unloading and they teach us in training to unload one at a time but when you get into the hub, its all about productivity and they want you to pull the walls of packages down and let them crash onto the floor.
