    I’ve always dropped the mowing deck when doing any thing not related to mowing - yes it’s a PIA for what I have (30yr old WheelHorse), but it’s just a good practice IMHO

      Yes next time when I’m doing anything blade related I’ll do that.. obviously should have don’t it from the beginning but hey got to learn some how.. lol

    Yes the 4x4 makes a world of difference. Yes the angle feature is nice for rolling snow/rock whatever else. Those old MF are work horses as well. Appreciate that feed back.

    Nice. The four wheel drive helps. Great job doing that.
    I have a 1976 Massey Ferguson garden tractor that I added a plow to. Plus hydraulic angle. Great machines garden tractors. They can do a lot of work. I hauled a tree out of my woods yesterday with the MF 14.
    Have a great day 👍🏻👋🪵🪓🚜

      Back when I bought the x758 I also had a 2520deere with 200cx loader. Ie definitely worked great for moving a leveling dirt. But hey if it works it works. Better then using a shovel and rake haha.. thanks for the comment. Consider subscribing if you want. Much appreciated

      @@gregg360 well you can abuse your equipment if you want but using a snow plow as a bulldozer is a great way to bend frames, plows, and generally mess up your machine. It isnt my money that was spent on the machine so for all I care he can abuse it however he wants. Just dont think it is a great idea if you want the machine to last.

    That worked great, but I wouldn’t recommend turning the blade left or right when you’re stopped in the pile. That puts more strain on the hydraulics. It worked well though.👍

    What was that mower belt looking thing on top of the dirt pile, just before video ends?
    The setup reminds me of my 20+ yr old non-hydraulic GT235 with 48" plow. I moved a lot of dirt with it, just like you are doing. Also manure piles from horses. Only the 54" mower deck has to come off, before plow goes on.
    Now have a 1025r, with loader, etc. I know you had a 2520 with loader.
    The garden tractor and heavy duty plow can do a lot for a homeowner. Including lots of snow removal.
    A loader is nice, but typically somewhere from doubles to quadruples the cost of the tractor/toy 😂

    • @studiy0702
      @studiy0702  3 месяца назад +1

      The rubber belt was just the junk dirt my neighbor delivered from his farm and had rubber belt it the pile.. yes a 1025r with loader and mower deck would be great for landscaping and pushing snow. But at the time all I need was the mower. Because I still had the 2520. Then sold that. Now definitely wanting a small loader tractor back again.. definitely an expensive toy. The only big plus for me is transporting material from one spot to another, a plow is hard to do that without getting it all over the yard. Just have to get the wife to sign off. Maybe one day you will see a new loader tractor on the channel. Fingers crossed. Thanks for leaving a comment. It’s nice to hear other guys have done the same type of things. Appreciate it.

    I did something similar years ago with my wheel horse and ended up with a small raised section where the pile was originally that was packed so hard it was almost impossible to level.

    • @studiy0702
      @studiy0702  3 месяца назад

      Yes if you go back in my previous videos I had a tree fall down there and the junk dirt the neighbor hauled in was mostly clay and I was hard to level beside leaving a mind so to speak.. yes you are correct it was difficult. Thanks for the comment.

    I believe you can lock the deck so it stays up while using the front attachments. At least I remember I could do it with my X758 but that’s been two tractors ago now.

    • @studiy0702
      @studiy0702  7 месяцев назад

      Do you remember the location of the lockout?

    • @Lilfarmrboy
      @Lilfarmrboy 7 месяцев назад

      @@studiy0702 I want to say there is a hydraulic lock out valve that is standard if you ordered the mower with the front attachment hookup from the dealer. I believe it was a round knob located just under the floor pan in the area just under where the hydraulic hoses hookup. At least I think that was how I did it.
      I also remember locking a unit with the deck height adjustment wheel but I’m pretty sure I’m thinking of my Kubota BX on that one. There should be a valve type box with a turn knob that you will have to turn a few times before it isolates the deck. Let me know what you find.

    Wrong tires, turf's are worthless! Deck is also pushing dirt.

    • @studiy0702
      @studiy0702  2 месяца назад

      Yes but they’re not the standard turf tires in my opinion. There alittle more aggressive, but I don’t really need bar tires for it. Yes after is was don’t with the project definitely should have taken the deck off before starting! But HEY it’s a learning opportunity for all that have watched the video.
