when you let the rice sit in water for 30 minutes do you drain it before putting it in the boiling water?

@@ervasert1575 hi, no I don't drain it. In the course of time, the water will be absorb so you get less water. But sometimes if I put a lot of water in the pan, I have to drain the water from the rice or else it will overflow .
