@@randallosczevski6144 That’s a typo mistake on my behalf because it was supposed to have said “onboard”, not “of”. Too late now. Not a big deal. Fitzjames was Captain of the Erebus, under John Franklin who was also a “captain” but not the captain of the boat. Both were captains ‘onboard’ Erebus, is what I meant, but wrote wrong.

Sir John Franklin was not the Captain of HMS Erebus. That was Capt. James Fitzjames.
