    This is the correct method. Releasing the OK button instantly is the important bit.

    Works for a 2014 Volvo XC60 3.2. If you need to know how to reset the Volvo scheduled maintenance reminder on your XC60, *use this video*. I waded through about 12 videos and even more "how-tos" that professed to explain how to do the job. However, THIS VIDEO IS THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS. So, Kudos to The Volvo Guy. Good Luck to all of you!

    Great video; worked like a charm on my 2015.5 Volvo S80 T6. As you (and others) said, releasing the "OK" button while the "i" symbol is still flashing is critical.

      It’s not on the wiper stalk. That’s on the right side of the steering wheel at least here in the USA. The OK button is on the LEFT stalk, which controls the various info displays, turn signals, and high/low beam and high beam flashers. He actually is operating the correct stalk in the video but incorrectly refers to it as the turn signal stalk.

    Thanks bud! This worked. Just a heads-up, make sure to release it (like the Volvo Guy says) WHILE the "I" light is flashing. If you hold it too long, it won't reset the signal.

    I got a scan at O'Reilly auto parts.
    Said replace gas cap. 😅
    $13 later.
    I don't think it's gonna work.
    I have 104,283 miles on it.
    This car burns out SO MUCH.
    Any suggestions.?
    I think it's a spark plugs need replacement.
    They were changed at 75,000.

    Question: I have a 2011 Volvo XC90 3.2 FWD I get these two codes. I replaced the tires and wheel sensors at the same time. I get two codes UEM 00A3 and UEM 00A8. The 00A8 happened once before the tires were replaced. Sometime the message display reads cannot connect with TPMS. Is there a module inside that receives the signal from each wheel sensor that throws this code and where would that location be? Also a part number would be helpful. I pretty much do my own work even though I'm a disabled veteran. (I like to stay Mobil) Thanks for t

      Hello I want to apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I want to say thank you for service. It will always be appreciated. Now with your XC90 am thinking you have a TPMS light on your dash? The UEM communicates with the TPM sensors in the wheels. I did not have the time to look up the codes and dig deeper into it. I will do that tomorrow. But do you have low tire pressure worning? Or TPMS service required?

    • @buffettfanman
      @buffettfanman 5 лет назад +1

      The Volvo Guy No low tire pressure, new tires and wheel sensors. I was wonder if the space saver spare has a wheel sensor in it? Maybe when the vehicle shakes it throws a code. This happens mostly on really smooth roads or the freeway.

    • @TheVolvoGuy
      @TheVolvoGuy  5 лет назад +1

      @@buffettfanman ok so as far as volvo spare tire it does not have a TPMS on it. So now what is the problem that you trying to look into?

    • @buffettfanman
      @buffettfanman 5 лет назад +1

      The Volvo Guy, UEM008A tells me the Wheels are missing. Is there a receiver module~ antenna that gets signals from the wheels and the location and part number of the module. There was a brief awhile back, I had each wheel tested to make sure that the sensors was and the sensor in each wheel is working properly. The message center display gave me a message that there was not communication with the monitoring system. Thank you for helping me to resolve this issue.

    Will this work on a 2017 XC60?
    If not, what is the procedure for the 2017 model year?

    • @TheVolvoGuy

      Yes it will

    • @ajfogertyfan8245
      @ajfogertyfan8245 Год назад +1

      Didn’t work on my 2017 XC70 after repeated tries. Made sure there were no other things to cause the info square light to illuminate - had seat belt on, but also had a low battery charge flag message, will
      Try after running the English r a bit to put some charge in the battery.

    • @ajfogertyfan8245
      @ajfogertyfan8245 Год назад +2

      Finally got it to work, what everyone needs to know is that the info square will initially come on and then will go off along with the other warning lights. That is NOT the start of the Info square. Just continue hold the START STOP and OK buttons until the Info square starts flashing (it will take a long number of seconds and THEN asap release the buttons. You can see that happening in the video. My USA display looked somewhat different than the one in the video but the procedure did work once I realized the info square initially comes on then immediately goes off and eventually starts the flash cycle.😊

      @@ajfogertyfan8245Glad I read your comment. Your last statement is what did it for me. Initially, the info square comes on and then immdiately goes off. I kept both buttons depressed and then about 5 seconds later the info square started the flashing sequence. Thereafter, I released both buttons and then the message was gone. Thank you.

      You must be missing something. Turn the car off open the door then close it. Bush the start button one time. Then push the ok button on the left stock and hold it. Then push the start button and hold it until all the lights come on on the dash then let it go. Continue holding the ok the wiper stock and wait until the yellow I starts flashing. Once it starts flashing release the ok button and when you do you will hear a beeping sound.
