    You know, instead of constantly remaking the same three Avengers characters, Lego could use their obsession with mechs to give us more X-Men, Fantastic Four, and other obscure characters. Its a relatively risk-free and inexpensive way to give us these characters, and it would make fans actually be happy to get more mechs. Just look how excited everyone was for the Wolverine mech earlier this year.

      @hakanstorsater5090 Год назад +1

      Ideally, Nightcrawler should have a tail that's long and thin and with a pointed arrow shape at the end. A recolored Naughty Little Devil tail might be the best choice. The Avatar figs have the Speedy Gonzales tail, but it still feels too light. (It would fit better in Bright or maybe Dark Blue...) I think that T-Rex Costume tail is a new piece, but it might be too thick...

    One thing I thought would be worth of note is that a few years ago (I think 2019-2020) some Toy companies such as Hasbro or Funko released a collection of Legacy products of the Fox X-Men movies (Marvel Legends action figures based on characters from the X-Men and Deadpool movies for example).
    I think that LEGO releasing some Legacy sets of those movies similar to the Infinity Saga would be really cool, specially with Deadpool 3 coming out soon as this sort of tribute to all these movies.
    Who knows, maybe with Deadpool 3 we do get a sort of Infinity Saga-style sets for them. Or indirect tie-ins

    I think Lego is crazy to not have done a wave of comic-based Fantastic 4 sets. I get that there hasn’t been a well-received film for it to coincide with, but it would still sell well. My ideal Fantastic 4 wave would go as such:
    1. Baxter Building Lab Attack - Small, $15 set where Mole Man busts into Reed’s lab with a vehicle build similar to the Underminer’s. Characters include Mister Fantastic, Mole Man, and a brick-built H.E.R.B.I.E.
    2. Skrull Invasion - Pretty much a standard spaceship build and a street corner. Characters include Invisible Woman, Spider-Man in his Fantastic 4 suit (the one with the black mask, NOT Bombastic Bagman), Veranke, and a Skrull foot soldier.
    3. Latveria Rescue - Latverian castle lab where Johnny is captured and Reed is rescuing him, or vice versa. Characters include Mister Fantastic, Human Torch, Doctor Doom, and two Doombots.
    4. Fantastic 4 vs. Galactus - Fantasticar and Galactus built in the same Granger style as Harry Potter and Hermione in that one set. It makes sense for this to be the only set with all four members of the team since it would easily be at least $100. Characters (not including Galactus) include Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, Silver Surfer, and Thing as a big fig.
    Also important to note is that Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, and Human torch would have different variants since they’re all in at least two sets. They’d each have a variant as just the regular suit, then Mister Fantastic would have one with the long arms, Invisible Woman would have one with clear pieces, and Human Torch would have one with fire printing and the flame head piece that was used for Ghost Rider and some other characters.

      If Lego really wants to give us a $500+ mech-style build, they should give us a giant buildable Galactus figure. That is a unique and unheard of concept for both Marvel and Lego that I think would better justify that price point.

    I think they should go back and make at least one accurate set from each movie and show. Like Wandavision would have the house (Wanda, Vision, Agatha, Billy and Tommy, plus put 50s Wanda, Vision and Agatha in a CMF), TFATWS would be Sam's boat (Sam, Bucky, Sam's sister, and then CMF is Karli, US Agent, Isaiah, Zemo), Loki TVA base with Loki, Sylvie, Mobius and Renslayer (CMF Kang/He Who Remains), Hawkeye with the Trust a Bro or whatever van with Hawkeye, Kate, Yelena and Echo, CMF Kingpin and a Track Suit guy probably Kazi), Werewolf by Night with Jack, Elsa and Ted in the set no need for a CMF addition really, Moon Knight ship from the Duat with Steven and Mark (preferably done in Moon Knight and Mr. Knight with alternate heads and hairs), Tawaret and Khonsu, and then CMF would include Layla and Harrow. Round two: Ms. Marvel, the house with Ms. Marvel, Bruno, Nakia, Kamran and Najma. CMF would be Aisha, Red Dagger, and maybe Kamala's parents too idk. She Hulk--Bruce's island bar and stuff would be cool, Jennifer and She Hulk forms, Hulk, Abomination + Blonsky. CMF could be that friend of hers that I don't care about if they wanna include her. You know, before they crashed and burned DC Super Heroes were outdoing Marvel in the figure aspect as Lego were taking greater creative choices with new characters and comic sets. Look at the Captain Boomerang, Gorilla Grodd, Katana, Deathstroke etc and this was all before The Lego Batman Movie. Marvel has had a the occasional random character made and it’s usually for pre-order bonuses like a game or if you spend over a certain amount (Goliath, comic Winter Soldier).
    I like that we’ve had characters such as Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider, Firestar, Black Cat, Punisher, Blade and Daredevil made but aside from the GR they were all tied up in an extremely expensive and hard to buy set, especially now. Next year we are due to get Morbius and another new Ghost Rider as well as a Hulk Mech which is great, but if Lego want to be extra creative and encourage sets to sell well they should take the DC route and push more new characters and character designs out, like that Hulk Mech could easily be a Joe Fixit Hulk with a big Tommy Gun gattling gun as an accessory to the mech.

    I'm sorry... i just... i just need to wrap my head around this.
    You think... in your honest opinion.... That the Sam Raimi Spiderman sets that ran from 2002 - 2004 NOT EVEN INCLUDING THE THIRD FILM IN THE FRANCHISE MIND YOU
    was more worthy of a "20 year celebration" than the Harry Potter sets which ran from
    2001 - 2011 and had a huge comeback and was one of Lego's biggest sellers for YEARS.
    With all due respect but.... LIKE HELL THEY DIDN'T DESERVE IT!
    I know that you're a Raimi fan Ash. I am too. But you can't bypass the fact that Harry Potter was 1000 more successful than Spider-Man was objectively in it's run.
    And for the record Lego Spiderman had an 8 year gap too. The last Sam Raimi Spiderman was released in 2004 and the newest variant of him was only released in 2012. Soooo...

    • @Ashnflash
      @Ashnflash  Год назад +1

      You've got a lot wrong there. First off, not a Raimi trilogy fan. Tobey is both a bad Spider-Man and Peter Parker. Horrible acting, bad writing and relationships. MJ is just the worst.
      09:29 I specifically say I don't want them celebrating 20 years of LEGO Marvel because that would be hypocritical for my criticism of Harry Potter. I said there should have at least been a set like the 89 set celebrating its anniversary.
      You can't compare the success of the two themes. Harry Potter / WB were making a film almost every year, so their contract with LEGO was completely different than LEGO's with Marvel. Marvel didn't know there would be sequels, where Harry Potter knew they'd be doing all the films. That's why there are not more sets for Sider-Man past their first waves. Why the third one didn't get sets is beyond me.
      But what I can compare is the amount of love that Marvel is currently getting from LEGO. I mentioned it twice in the video that they are producing 2x as many sets as Harry Potter. And right now, Marvel is leaps and bounds ahead of the Wizarding World popularity-wise and financially in the box office. Spider-Man and Batman are much more recognizable than Harry Potter.

      @@Ashnflash
      *Really?!??!* You.... Ashnflash aren't a fan of the Sam Raimi Spider-Mans? .... Huh. I mean i'm just so shocked because you seemed so disappointed that there weren't going to be any No Way Home sets including the minifigures from the Raimi Trilogy. I mean i'm not saying he's the best Spidey but... it's just a surprise coming from you.
      NOW anyway onto the next few points.
      Yes yes I understand about the 89 Set and all that that is fair enough. I'm not saying that shouldn't have happened.
      My biggest problem is you're simply stating that you don't think that Harry Potter is as famous as the Super Hero lines?
      I mean... that's like saying Lord of the Rings isn't as successful as Game of Thrones.
      Bottom line is that it's an innaccurate statement.
      The superhero line has only become popular in the last decade from 2012 - 2022.
      Harry Potter was the famous line from the decade BEFORE the last one.
      I mean do you even remember what Lego sets were going around the same time as Harry Potter?
      We had such memorable things like....
      Atlantis... and.... city... and.... oh and Star Wars.
      From the 2000 - 2011 the biggest line was Harry Potter.
      So I don't think you can say Harry Potter isn't worthy of it's anniversary. I mean Star Wars had one too remember.
      BUT who knows maybe in 2004 they might make a "20 year anniversary" of Spiderman 2 and they might also bring out some Amazing spiderman 2 sets since that was released in 2014.
      But who knows...

    • @Ashnflash
      @Ashnflash  Год назад

      I want No Way Home for the villains and Andrew lol. I already have a Tobey.
      Yes, Batman and Spider-man and objectively more popular than Harry Potter. That being said I’m not saying that it shouldn’t get any anniversary sets, I’m saying that Marvel should be getting more because it is much more popular right now. Finally it’s getting yearly D2Cs it seems and Advent Calendars.
      Side note Harry Potter also had no right / need for taking up two licensed Minifigure series. Nearly every HP figure from Series 1 is now in sets.
      Success and popularity are not the same. However Game of Thrones currently is more popular and successful than LOTR and Harry Potter. Their prequel show is hugely successful, something the Hobbit and Fantastic Beasts can’t say.
      I do remember the themes we got. Like you mentioned, Star Wars. We also had Batman. But Star Wars earned every anniversary celebration they’ve had. The fact that Harry Potter just returns after all those years and gets more love than other themes is not right.

    ok here are some ways lego can improve their company and their lego marvel sets:
    1. STOP MAKING COMIC CON EXCLUSIVES
    2. stop making unnecessary vehicles thqt the heros never had
    3. make more sets based on the movies, comics, games etc
    4. start making more dc sets in the same concept style as i suggest
    5. only include vehicle sets for vehicles that actually exist in marvel
    6. no more mech sets because people only get them for the minifigures
    7. making sets for older audiences since thats like most of legos audience right now
