Good video of the event, thanks for that. The DTG and CRS have collaborated for this event I may suppose? Carriage / van B214 took my attention now that I'm diving deeper into NZ rolling stock and especially carriages as I'm working on a West Coast inspired layout. This carriage is clearly a 6 wheel type C converted to run on bogies but without lengthening the underframe as was usually done when converting 4 and 6 wheelers to bogie underframes. The 31' length is as built and a guards compartment is fitted in one of the 2 seating compartments. Also 3 of the 7 windows per compartment were closed as the wooden structure as built was quite weak lacking diagonal struts in the sides, these struts were added when the windows were closed.
Good coverage Xavier was great catching up 😉
