I wish that Microsoft would just release a fully fledged feature rich 'Project for the Web' in one go. As a PMO Consultant, I tried to use P4W for a client as they were also migrating to D365 and I figured that it would make more sense to get them on P4W so that the project data is available on the Power Platform. (CDS database). The project was a 3 year project. The project had over 1000 tasks. I only realised after inputting all the tasks that P4W can only have 1000 lines/tasks. I finally decided to use MS Projects Desktop as this has so many more features and is much more suited for a 3 year programme with a lot of milestones, deliverables and resources. . The problem now is that all the data is not available on the D365 platform. Very frustrating.

Why use Project desktop when you could have used project online and or PPM?

Hello! I've been wracking my brain trying to figure this out -- hoping you (or one of your subscribers) might know. I'm trying to share a complete project plan made in Project for Web with a Guest user (they are a Client and they only need to view the plan, they don't need to adjust anything). I've added the individuals as Guests, they can see the Grid and Board view, but cannot see the Timeline view. Any reason why this wouldn't be displayed for a Guest user? Any help would be so very appreciated!

It might be related to browser permissions. I previously had this issue when trying to embed it in Teams and on mobile.
