The keyword in an anchor text? Is the keyword, the keyword in the blog that's being linked, or the keyword of the blog what's contain the link. I hope that makes sense 😂 This is the best anchor text vid on YT! It's great! Thank you!
Thank you Gabby! We're glad you enjoyed it. To clarify: whenever coming up for anchor text for a link, you want to use the keyword. So instead of hyperlinking 'Click here' in a statement like "Click here to read more about us!" - you'd want to hyperlink 'about us' in a statement like "Read more about us." This keeps up with best SEO practices and improves accessibility for your audience. Hope that helps!

Hey Ruwan, Thank you for your question! Anchor text and backlinks are related, but not quite the same. Anchor text is the text you hyperlink to an internal page or another website, such as on "click here" or on a keyword like "cheesecake recipes." The backlink is an actual link back to your site from another site, or an external link on your site to another, but both would have some kind of anchor text. We have a couple blog posts that explain all of this a little more: www.mediavine.com/what-is-anchor-text-seo-best-practices-for-links/ www.mediavine.com/backlinks-inbound-links-seo/ www.mediavine.com/the-art-of-giving-and-receiving-backlinks/ www.mediavine.com/external-links Hope this helps!
thank you very much for the explanation... i put hyperlink but I don't write "click here" or something like that .. I put hyperlink directly to the related word for my blog articles... is there going to be a problem for seo ... if you don't mind advise me
