    I wish I could do this. Being homeless for almost two months stinks. Blessings from Indiana

    Thank you not only for the great content but for the tips on using a clamp. Not sure why I’d never thought of that but It’ll make my build much easier. Thank you.

    2x10: This size joists are commonly used for heavy-duty floors, such as those in kitchens or bathrooms. They can span up to 14 feet and have an even higher load-bearing capacity than 2x8 joists.

    Just bought the same tent. Didn’t want to set it up outside until spring to do the whole seasoning thing. Did you do the seasoning process after setting it up? If not, did you have any issues with leaks initially? I set mine up in a gymnasium today and it seemed like a snug fit on the frame. Did you notice your canvas shrink any with time?

    • @gravesupnorth
      @gravesupnorth  2 месяца назад

      I never did season my tent. It's been up for over 2 years now, and there arenno issues what so ever. Looks like new. I purchased a rain fly which keeps the canvas in nice shape.

    I'm looking at getting this tent and setting it up for the camping season (May to Nov). Any issues with the floor not being sealed to the walls and bugs and small critters getting in the tent?

    Just built a platform on my land a 12x16 for a 12x14 wall tent. You didn’t want to use pressure treated lumber?

    Where did you get the foam flooring!?

  • @craigster750
    @craigster750 Год назад +2

    What is that black foam? Purpose to just make it softer?

    • @gravesupnorth
      @gravesupnorth  Год назад

      It's roughly 1/2 thick black foam. It helps make it a bit softer and more insulated from the ground. Thanks for watching!

    We’re you able to attach the frame poles to the deck?

    • @gravesupnorth
      @gravesupnorth  Год назад +3

      Yes, every footpole has a heavy-duty washer and screw going into the 2x6 of the floor. I will have to show that in the next video! Thanks for watching

    How long are these tents expected to last if you leave them out all year round

    • @bennym1956
      @bennym1956 Год назад

      Good quality canvas tents may last 15-30 years, depends on upkeep. BUT White Duck 14x16 Canvas Tent may not be the best canvas tents on the market.
