Right, the mother is clearly jealous the last clips she was talking about how it started in middle school and the daughter stopped listening... or you couldn’t control your daughter anymore and she started showing signs of individuality and was young and beautiful and the mother probably didn’t like that she was always at home taking care of her kids... while her daughter was didn’t have any responsibilities.. pure jealousy honestly.

Agreed. On another video, DrPhil asks the mother to name positives about her daughter. She says she’s bright, social, and happy. My first thought was that those attributes are exactly what the mom wants, but doesn’t possess. She is 100% jealous.

She came to the show expecting everyone, including Dr Phil to take HER side and validate that she is the poor innocent victim here. When that didn't happen, she doubled down and cranked up her pathetic 'woe is me, feel sorry for me!' act up even more. Just look at the after the show footage. All she can do is sit there and whine how she 'didn't get the chance to show her 'proof' of how her daughter acts at home' (I don't think it would've changed anything if she had shown her 'proof') and how 'she was treated so unfair'. Ugh.
This is heartbreaking. That mother is not a mother, she's a monster.

I couldn’t understand how a mother not love a daughter like her I wish my daughter can do way better than me be smarter prettier and more successful in life than me I want my daughter to have everything and live better than me I work hard to make sure she is better than me makes better choices
That’s a horrible feeling to hear your own mother be this way and I know a ton about that Bc I have a mom who is like this towards me and I still don’t see how I would ever do this to my own daughter and the thought of my daughter being hurt by me absolutely scares me and couldn’t ever do or say those things to her. I tell her I love her to bits everyday

My mother said she hated me, because of what you said here. She was an alcoholic and I raised my three younger sisters. She is now dead, I am 61 years old. When she got sick with cancer, I took care of her, she died in my arms and I got a little closer to her and she said ‘’Thank you for everything, I am so proud of you’’. I found a news paper clip of me in her things, I once was in the newspaper, when she was dead……..that broke my heart! Ther was a period of three years, she didn’t drink, we got along so well in that period, I couldn’t wait to get home from school every day to be with her, but then she started drinking again and her hatefull eyes were back…….I still to this day feel those eyes and I still sometimes cry…I so want to feel, how a loving mothers arms around me feels, when I need/needed support and comfort…..english is not my first language,

The daughter is a reminder to her mother of what she could never be. She would rather destroy her than see her blossom. I’ve experienced this and I currently mentor a young girl in a similar situation. I pray that she learns, sooner than later, that the problem was never her. Some mothers are just too broken to help themselves much less their children.

This reminds me of Matilda the movie, parents give up custody of matilda to her teacher, I feel so sad hurt for the daughter, but mom will remember what's she's done once she gets older and sick then she will remember her daughter.

What kind of mother would say they hate their child? This is a bright, intelligent and strong young lady. I pray that she stay with her teacher and they work on healing. God put people in our path for a reason and I am so glad that she had her teacher to turn to. There are so many things I can say about the mother but I won’t, instead I hope she gets the help she needs to be a better mother and person.
An extremely jealous one with lots of problems that have nothing to do with her poor daughter,but she pretends like they do...sadly.

Wow that heavy set lady sounds just like my mom. She called the cops to tell them shes tired of me and wants them to take me out of her home. When they told her that they couldn’t take me because I didn’t necessarily do anything wrong, she completely lost it. She ran to her room and slammed the door and you could smell her smoking weed in the next room 😂😂😂😂

If the daughter sees this: know that your mom will NEVER change. It took me years to realize this with my own mom. The best thing you can do is make your peace with this, go no contact, block her everywhere and go live a good life.

I disagree that no "child" (this is a 17 year old not a child) should ever hear how their behaviour is affecting their relationship with anyone. If you treat your mom disrespectful, you may exasperate her. This tren says she gave her mother chances. Did the teen utilize these chances to be a good daughter that doesn't exasperate her mom? Youth have all the rights and no responsibilities while the mom tries till she cannot take it anymore, expresses harsh feelings and then gets gaslit by this team on tv that she had no right to lose her temper in the face of relentless disrespect.
