The paving of the streets of NY are similar to those of my city, Goiânia, in Brazil. Lots of patching, cracking and lots of wobble. Most of the asphalt in my city was laid in the 1980s and in the middle of 2023 it no longer supports patching. City hall that collects millions of reais in taxes seems not to see the problems.
ah yes, new york, the land of pride where i will absolutely not let you merge into my lane and i will do whatever it takes to get where i need to be. 36:17 36:55 fedex truck is absolutely having a bad day or is under the influence.
The FedEx driver is driving so recklessly my goodness. Like you’re not moving any faster. Despite that, this is a great video! I complain about traffic jams in my city (Tampa, FL) i couldn’t make it in NYC. 😭😭
Total shame they stopped using the Crown Vic Yellow cabs, they had so much character, really cool looking cars and they was part of NYC character. The new yellow cabs just look boring.
You shouldn't use the boost stabilsation from the GoPro, that always reacts slowly when turning or in curves, which attracts attention to itself. On a car, the stabilisation mode before that (high?) is plenty enough. As for the drive, I thought we had bad roads in the UK but I think I should stop complaining about that.
It is not. Honestly lane splitting should not be allowed in any state. The way some bikers lane splitt is Reckless ignorant and flat out dangerous. I would support lane filtering though.
We are here in Dubai Taxi Company suffering from this scamming company . No salary. No commission No day off. They deducted all the operating expenses from our salary and finally they are paying us very low amount equal 50$ every month. Don't come to Dubai to work as a taxi driver
Hello from Netherlands, I thought that the big USA would have better roads. This reminds me of a trip in the middle east instead :S Probably that's what US learned from the public condoned and not sanctioned afghani and iraqi invasions
you gotta take into account how large our country is. That's a whole lot of roads to take care of. There are many well kept roads in other places of the US though.
@@phillipbanes5484 I am not talking only about the quality but also how they are organized and with high possibllity for accidents or mistakes, leave alone if it rains strongly or there is ice/snow
1h30m to do 20 something kilometers... how can anyone live like that? Where's the pleasure in that? I can't see it! Even if they paid me for driving there, I'd still refuse the job, because that's not living, that's not driving, that's just watching time go by while stuck on the road!
@@AlonsoRulesI mean Canada gets way way worse winters. Sure it affects roads, but all of Canada manages to look better organized than NYC. NYC and American cities tend to be poorly managed now.

Brasileiro!
Most of NYC's streets are third-world grade!
34:00 Those old relics from the 1964 World's Fair are still standing. Hard to believe.
I live in Queens, the borough where the majority of this video was filmed. I know these streets very well but find these videos to be very relaxing.
Well do you like Chinese food?

Love your videos. Roads are in a shocking state.
it not looks that bad
compare to China's!
What's shocking is there are 6000 miles of streets, 800 bridges/tunnels and 12,000 miles of sidewalks. What would you do to remove the shock?
You set new standards. Great video and editing.
I wouldn't want to experience something like this every day. Terrible constipation. I'm glad that I live in a small town in Europe
Hi, I love the quality of your videos. Please what dash Cam do you use?
Greetings from Algeria 🇩🇿💖💝
Algiers
I used to be any cabbie back in the 80s and early 90s.
Glad don't live in NYC anymore!
The FedEx driver is driving so recklessly my goodness. Like you’re not moving any faster. Despite that, this is a great video! I complain about traffic jams in my city (Tampa, FL) i couldn’t make it in NYC. 😭😭
Fun fact did you know FedEx is owned by Amazon
NYC is so romantic yet so doomed .
I'm so glad I don't live in NYC
"Watch what sitting in traffic for an hour and a half looks like."
What do you reckon the fare would be ?
Beautiful, isn't it?
But ya' get a great view! 😂
In Germany you would be shouted at for crawling in the fast lane :P
I'd try. I mean...LOL...it would be funny hearing folks yell out "Dummkopf!"
Maybe the route isn't too long , but the traffic and the infrastructure are totally insane

AINT NO WAY AM GOING ON THE BELT JUMP RIGHT ON THE VANWICK AND TAKE THE SCENIC RIDE HOME YEP
👍
I love the road network except the fact that they are not smooth
😀👍
you can have that traffic
Have fun NYC... Not for everybody
Does ANYBODY know whether it's legal to lane split on a bike on a NY highway?
It is not. Honestly lane splitting should not be allowed in any state. The way some bikers lane splitt is Reckless ignorant and flat out dangerous. I would support lane filtering though.
helo I kant get across from France on dingy to uk prommissed land, can I pleas get new york city thank. ?
How are this roads ? I wont be able to know , l see that a little looks dangerous for driving a car
nyc needs new bridges, two lanes in each direction is not going to work moving forward.

@@isaacparadis7951 yea no doubt but we’re talking of NYC the core of the USA, not a crap hole in some rural remote area
1. Never believe American propaganda 2. The Nazi destroyed ALL of your roads so what are YOU talking about?
Your country has a federal system. This is your biggest city. Its not as bad as OP said but I was actually surprised myself at the state of the roads.

Infrastructure in NYC is in terrible shape. It’s embarrassing and feels like a third world country.
yes it is, the highway won't be done till 2024 or 2025.
bad winters don't help
Como se nota que no conoces el tércermundo!!
Well the weather and the fact there’s 8-10 million people living in the city with all of the traffic that comes through, it’s to be expected.

I had to fast forward and skip too many times.
An hour and a half advertisement asking you to find your brain , get off your but and use the airtrain.
everyone ignores the incoming ambulance, New Yorkers must be very rude
Much like states such as New York, Massachusetts, Oregon, Illinois, Washington, California, and Maryland.
