Hi HP! I have a desktop which is not of HP. I recently installed Windows 10 officially and activated it legally. I have good hardware specifications, but my PC is unable to recognise. Windows 10's Start opens with a laggy animation and I am sure it is because Windows 10 is not recognising that I have good hardware specifications which helps Windows 10 run smoothly. @@HPSupport Hey, I have a HP ProBook 6570b and I play RuneScape 3 as well as Old School RuneScape, Old School RuneScape is the old version and it's mostly coded in Java scripts, but RuneScape 3 was recoded from all of it's Java scripts so that the developers could make it faster, better, with Java, their video game was seen as a graphics tile able to see everywhere you go sort of game, draw distances weren't going to be able to extended without upgrading their games programming language, so there are many things Java could not support and that C++ which is the exact language they've totally rewritten the game in, they were able to totally extened and expand all of it's programming abilities, it looked 2D like and is now far more like a 3D game without Java. Problem: The game although runs really well, with an excellent frames per second rate, almost no lag at all unless updates are given to the game. The problem I have is they currently have a beta client their trying to come out with, it's being supported by Steam which is helping to make it run a lot faster, smoother, better. When I go to my Program files to use the beta client, the games loading box says while although able to load, it says "Your graphics drivers are 1221 days old. You can update them here." Now, clicking the update them option brings me to in Intel Driver & Support installer, but it's got nothing to update my graphics driver with, but idk why, I mean, the Manufacturer is HP, and the Chipset is by Intel, this Chipset is Intel Inside's Core i5 processor. So, it should be able to get Intel to correctly show me that there is in fact graphics, audio, display and so on drivers to install updates to. Since it doesn't though, I figured HP may have a Drivers updater, and while it does, in my Control Panel within Programs and Features, it says there's an HP Update, HP Support Solutions Framework and the HP Support Assistant, but when I carefully examined the list for new driver updates to install, their dated back to 2015 and the latest one is from 2019 in the case of the graphics drivers updatable downloads. If you can tell me what I should do to get my even more current date drivers or something that'd be great, but I wanted to ask why are these graphics drivers dated back to 2019 as their latest date? Is something graphics settings based not supported anymore?
Hi! I Have a HP G61 notebook witch has an integrated Camera. After upgrading to Win10, it stops working, and gives the error 0XA00F4292. I've tried to windows update, I uninstalled an reintalled the driver, checked the firewall, and everithing, but nothing happens. Has your issue been resolved? If not, what is the full model# ( ow.ly/4nvBSP ) of the notebook? Did the touchscreen work after upgrading to Windows 10, or not? Or did the issue start after a later Windows update?
I do not have the full model number, but there is a case number created when I notified HP of the issue. The issue was not resolved as HP advised there would be a charge of $49.99 to fix the problem since the warranty has expired. I tried to explain the issue I have paying for the fix as the problem was created by one of the updates. The problem arose before the update to 10, and continues after the update to 10. SMH
Without knowing the full model, I cannot look at or direct you to the right driver page. In some cases installing the video driver again helps or after an upgrade to Windows 10, if there are no specific Windows 10 drivers you can try installing the Windows 8.1 driver instead. I can provide the case number, at the moment I'm at work an not able to provide the model number. The model number is associated with the case number if that helps?
For your own privacy protection it is best not to post anything that is potentially personally identifying. Besides I do not actually use that ticketing system, so it would not help. Just try the steps in that document I posted, and when you get back you can post the model number when you have access to the device, but do not post the serial number for the same reason you should not post your case#.

Haris Khalid well, then your laptop must be just supporting windows 7 or Vista and not 10 so for ATI drivers go to AMD website downlaod automac tool and it will download and install later will pop up to restart do so and you are good to go for other drivers you can use third party application like Driver Pack Solutions online if network not present use offline one size will be 15gb -30gb depending on what time you are updating

+cary packer I recommend that you please start by reviewing Microsoft’s Windows 10 System Requirements ( ow.ly/V423c ) to check that it will support Windows 10. It never hurts to use it as a check. Office jet Pro 6830 Windows update seems to be the devil in all this. I've had several printers running fine after the upgrade to Win10 for a week or longer, only to suddenly say "There is no driver installed for this device". Usually I get stuck in the following loop: Cannot connect to device, there is no driver installed, do you want Windows to look for a new driver? > Windows has determined you already have the correct driver installed. RAGE. I insert the cd that came with the printer, run through the setup: Connect printer via USB cable. [Printer is connected already. Unplug, re-plug, no change. Cannot back-out or cancel the setup from this point so I need to click 'Skip this part and install, I will connect printer later'. Shut down PC, unplug USB, restart PC]. Run Setup from CD again, software installs incomplete, I can speak to the printer, print jobs, view properties until the next windows update and we go back to "There is no driver installed for this device". I have also tried Windows Troubleshooter, HP Print/install wizard & HP Support Solutions Wizard.

In most peoples case it will be Windows 10 version 1809 (The second option down!) Create a folder on your desktop and extract the files into that. Open device manager and go to 'Human Interface Devices' then HP Wireless Button Driver and then the Update Driver tab. Select the folder on your desktop as your source and it will update. Reboot Windows then run Windows Update and voila the error should be gone!
I have a HP 15-ac121dx (Touch) Notebook and I think I need to update my drivers because I have some issues with some really low spec requiring games and they run at like 10 fps. Hp Support Assistant and Windows Updater says no updates are needed but I installed the free version of AVG driver updater and it says 12 of my drivers need updating. @@HPSupport I checked the Hp support assistant and as well as checked the drivers database online for my model. My model is relatively new. So the QA team is probably testing the current drivers, but i have done all the above.
DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION ... yes on hp .. envy 1414 (??4141??) .. What a load of crap! This is useless. How do you install the HP software for the hardware that came with the PC? Your website says no available drivers for windows 10. So half the hardware features on my EliteBook 8440p do not function after upgrading to Win10. No fingerprint reader, touchpad, quick launch buttons, network adapter, modem, and several other things that are listed as unknown devices. So I guess I have to revert back to Windows 7 in order to have a functioning laptop. Great support HP!

The issue was not resolved as HP advised there would be a charge of $49.99 to fix the problem since the warranty has expired. I tried to explain the issue I have paying for the fix as the problem was created by one of the updates. The problem arose before the update to 10, and continues after the update to 10. SMH
Without knowing the full model, I cannot look at or direct you to the right driver page. In some cases installing the video driver again helps or after an upgrade to Windows 10, if there are no specific Windows 10 drivers you can try installing the Windows 8.1 driver instead. I can provide the case number, at the moment I'm at work an not able to provide the model number. The model number is associated with the case number if that helps?
For your own privacy protection it is best not to post anything that is potentially personally identifying. Besides I do not actually use that ticketing system, so it would not help. Just try the steps in that document I posted, and when you get back you can post the model number when you have access to the device, but do not post the serial number for the same reason you should not post your case#.

Haris Khalid well, then your laptop must be just supporting windows 7 or Vista and not 10 so for ATI drivers go to AMD website downlaod automac tool and it will download and install later will pop up to restart do so and you are good to go for other drivers you can use third party application like Driver Pack Solutions online if network not present use offline one size will be 15gb -30gb depending on what time you are updating

+nahee2cul If your computer does not have specific drivers for Windows 10 you can try installing the older drivers using compatibility mode for Windows 10. Also you should check with the software developer, to see if the software itself is compatible or not, or if there is a fix.

Windows update seems to be the devil in all this. I've had several printers running fine after the upgrade to Win10 for a week or longer, only to suddenly say "There is no driver installed for this device". Usually I get stuck in the following loop: Cannot connect to device, there is no driver installed, do you want Windows to look for a new driver? > Windows has determined you already have the correct driver installed. RAGE.
I insert the cd that came with the printer, run through the setup: Connect printer via USB cable. [Printer is connected already. Unplug, re-plug, no change. Cannot back-out or cancel the setup from this point so I need to click 'Skip this part and install, I will connect printer later'. Shut down PC, unplug USB, restart PC]. Run Setup from CD again, software installs incomplete, I can speak to the printer, print jobs, view properties until the next windows update and we go back to "There is no driver installed for this device".
I have also tried Windows Troubleshooter, HP Print/install wizard & HP Support Solutions Wizard.

Select the Windows version for the driver. In most peoples case it will be Windows 10 version 1809 (The second option down!)
Create a folder on your desktop and extract the files into that.
Open device manager and go to 'Human Interface Devices' then HP Wireless Button Driver and then the Update Driver tab.
Select the folder on your desktop as your source and it will update.
Reboot Windows then run Windows Update and voila the error should be gone!
I have a HP 15-ac121dx (Touch) Notebook and I think I need to update my drivers because I have some issues with some really low spec requiring games and they run at like 10 fps. Hp Support Assistant and Windows Updater says no updates are needed but I installed the free version of AVG driver updater and it says 12 of my drivers need updating. I thought that the only place to update my drivers and not break the computer would be the HP website so I didn't use AVG (it also costs 40$). What should I do?

What a load of crap! This is useless. How do you install the HP software for the hardware that came with the PC? Your website says no available drivers for windows 10. So half the hardware features on my EliteBook 8440p do not function after upgrading to Win10. No fingerprint reader, touchpad, quick launch buttons, network adapter, modem, and several other things that are listed as unknown devices. So I guess I have to revert back to Windows 7 in order to have a functioning laptop. Great support HP!
