Awesome work man, I really need to start making videos, pretty sure you're going to motivate me get that going! If you want, I can send you my flask calculator, measure ~1" over the sprue tree, enter the diameter of the flask, and height and it tells you how much investment:water you need for 38-42:100 Keep up the great work man!
Looking real good. I just worry about the high temp 90c for the resin? I've seen that those thermal bands that you wrap around the tank are highly effective, I might go that route, but will also try warming up resin to 90c, and see if that helps.
Thank you! I warm it up to about 90° fahrenheit not Celsius. Only until the bottle is warm to the touch. I only warm it up enough to lower the viscosity. When it gets warmer you can tell a huge difference when you swirl the bottle. I don't know how warm the resin is able to get without ruining it.
When I am melting them in the furnace after it's fully melted I wait at least 5 more mins before pouring the metal. Others told me to wait ten mins to ensure it's fully molten. I use a higher temp so I don't feel that I need to wait that long.
I will be moving to a better resin. I started with this resin because it will help me learn the process since it's a finicky resin to get right. I'll check that resin out. Thank you!
Thanksss for the infos
👏👏👏

Thank you! You totally should! So many people helped correct my mistakes and I hope they continue to do so! I would love to see what you make!

How long do you melt your metals? I don’t know if I’m doing it long enough.

Buddy. Get away from that resin. Alpha sense castable on eBay or Amazon. I also use oro.
