Looks like Joel is exactly right, this is where they found the artifact with part of the curse and YHWH etched on it... so awesome. These videos of Joel's tours you filmed are priceless. If more people actually knew about them, they'd have thousands of views, I'm sure. In fact, I wish you would get together with Joel and release them as a DVD set, I would definitely buy it and I'm sure many others would too! I could even help with the production costs. Thanks for all your work.

Yes! Joel took us up through the Samaritan area in our coach and we saw their sacrifice site for Yom Kippur, I think there are 52 families so each family sacrifices a lamb, which is around a year old so quite a big animal. ruclips.net/video/Jfd1sPrvh1w/видео.html this video shows Joel at Bethlehem explaining the Samaritan Sacrifice and then in the description under that video is the link to see the drive through. You will see the ancient Samaritan language written on the doors also. Israel is an extraordinary country and to see how the historical narrative of the Bible weaves through it is truly remarkable.

There's a ton of EXCELLENT information in this video. Thanks for posting!
I wanted to add a couple of things. Firstly, you mentioned the Samaritan woman at the well, and how Jesus ministered to her. I noticed that you didn't present WHY the Samaritan woman accepted Jesus' message, and I think that's important to understand.
One of the things Jesus told her was, "You don't know what you're worshipping. We (Jews) know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews." That's the critical element of Jesus' message, and let me explain why.
The Samaritans only accepted the five books of Moses as authoritative. They didn't accept anything after that, because they believed (and still believe) that Eli was a wicked priest who stole the Ark of the Covenant from the temple at Shechem, and brought it to Shiloh, causing a civil war among the priesthood. A third of the priests followed Eli, a third remained at Shechem, and a third fell away entirely and worshipped other gods.
That means that if Jesus was going to minister to the Samaritan woman, He would have to appeal to the five books of Moses as proof of His Messiah-ship - and the quote above DOES EXACTLY THAT. Let me explain how.
Genesis 49:10-11, when correctly translated, says this:
"The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, **Until He comes to Shiloh**; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people."
"Shiloh" isn't another name for the Messiah. It's the PLACE where the Messiah will gather the people and be accepted as their ruler!
Since according to the Samaritans, Eli stole the Ark of the Covenant and took it to Shiloh, the Samaritans wouldn't accept any ruler claiming that Shiloh was the place that the Messiah would choose to rule over the people - UNLESS GEN. 49:10-11 SAID SO!!!
Shechem was in the territory of the tribe of Ephraim, as you correctly pointed out. So was Shiloh...but the difference was that Shiloh was rejected by the Samaritans as having any authority whatsoever. Only by refuting that belief from the Scriptures that the Samaritans accepted, could Jesus show why He could qualify to be their promised Messiah.
Next point. You pointed out the chair-shaped stone at Shechem as the "stone" that Joshua erected there. I don't think that's correct. Instead, I think the stone immediately to the left of it is the one Joshua erected. The chair-shaped stone **is where Abimelech was crowned king**. It was also the judgment seat of Joshua as he judged over Israel. The stone that Joshua erected was described as a "pillar" in Judges 9:6, which doesn't really fit the chair shape at all. Instead, a "pillar" is a stone erected as a boundary marker or claim to a specific piece of land, by the descendants of a specific family. Kings were typically crowned or made covenants BY A PILLAR (Judges 9:6; 2 Ki. 11:14; 2 Ki. 23:3), because it was their way of demonstrating that the covenant was being made with the family that that pillar represented. Thus, the chair or throne or judgment seat wouldn't be the same as the "pillar."
    Make sense?

Fascinating video! I would add a hint of caution to a couple of your claims. We can't say for sure whether that is the same stone Joshua put there and we definitely can't say for sure whether that's the same well Jacob dug.

Not at all, Jesus knew He would meet her there precisely because the other Samaritan women wouldn’t have anything to do with her, they would have come earlier when it was cool to fetch water. Everyone knew this woman by reputation, she had had five husbands and the one she was now living with she wasn’t married to. The Samaritans know the Old Testament very well which was why Jesus could have a theological discussion with her. This woman of ill repute was used through her confession to the people of her town, which led them to salvation by meeting their hoped for Messiah. Jesus did the same with the demoniac who when free from torment asked to go with Jesus, but he told him to go and be a witness in the ten cities, which would have again led to the salvation of many. He is doing the very same today, people are totally transformed and become great witnesses of His love, grace, mercy and kindness. Eternal life is the free gift only offered through his atoning sacrifice for our sins on the cross. 👍
